I’m an OTR company driver at Merx and have been with them about 8 months now. And I’ve truly been satisfied each and every day of those months. They are such good natured people that make you feel appreciated. By keeping you well informed in every aspect. No long waits in between loads. Keep me with good miles every week.They really keep the ball moving when it comes to moving freight and keeping the driver satisfied. Shots out to Dillon, Anthony, Daniel , Matt ,and all who steps in making me feel at home. Also shots opt to that safety crew. Julia and Alex are such brilliant people. Merx take pride in keeping their vehicles in top fashion. I never have issues with breakdowns, or DOT inspections. Nor blown tires. They run all originals. I had a breakdown once due to a DEF issue that carried through a 3 day holiday weekend and they paid me $150 for each of them days. And put me in a room. Their pay scale is excellent cause the pretty much pay for each and every mile I drive. None of that zip code to zip code mess where your miles be getting cut on the dead head end and actual pickup which can be up to 70 or more miles with other companies. I have great respect for what they offer. They’re very up front. Nothing hidden between the lines.

Per a lady at their accounting, they are waiting to get paid by their customer so they can pay us.... ?! What kind of unheard business practices is that ?! We have no business with their customer whatsoever. They are the ones who hired us to do the job and must pay us per agreed contract. Invoice is now 50 days old and they cannot provide a payment date. A claim to their surety bond was just filed. Stay away

Working with Merx Global for their marketing event in Chicago was a great experience.The team was very professional and easy to work with. Our staff was assigned to be part of a big marketing activation campaign requiring lead generation and consumer interaction. Merx members made it a priority to work with us as a team,identify our needs prior and during the event to ensure it was a success.

At one time it was a good company to work for. It seems they don't have the freight they once did. Came out from home time , waited more then 4 hours for a load . My dispatch at one time was in Elk Grove,IL. now they are in another Country. They use E speed adapter, that system is very dangerous ( micro manage's the truck ) that system has many issues. I'm looking for another company.

When we're searching for trucks to run loads... We scroll to find Merx Global to see if they're close. Nataly and Peter are great to work with. Always on time for pickup and delivery, great communication if there's issues and they make they job fun instead of monotonous. Highly recommend giving them a call. They'll get the job done right.... I have done many loads in my career as a freight broker. I came across Pete at Merx Global when covering one of my loads in what I thought would be a one off cover and go type of situation. Pete was professional, provided great service, had his driver track and provide updates. Like myself, Pete was always interested in our needs like they were his own and we have done many loads since, keeping drivers on the roads and servicing customers to the best of our ability. Pete is honest with his rates and will do whatever to provide capacity to you and your customer. I look forward to the working relationship with Pete for the years to come. Honestly this is by far the best company I have worked for in my 2+ years of trucking . I get consistent miles and I'm not pressed driving because my dispatchers work very well at booking my loads. I make really good money and get home almost every weekend. I'm happy here and hope to grow more with this company. By the way..... Everyone is friendly and respectful! I love Merx Global!

My husband just started driving for this company and after a little rough start everything was cleared up quickly. I will say that after so many years of bad jobs and promises I have never had a recruiter call me to make sure that we were happy and everything was ok. I been with them for 3 months now, through their lease program.just like every company out there, there is certain stuff that you have to deal with nomatter what. I been deiving now for close to 10 years, so iam mot greeny or steering wheelholder. For myself money talks, and i cannot complain one bit in that aspect.

I’ve been to many different companies. By far Merx global is the best. Their pay is awesome and they get you home when need to be. They are about the driver which is what I wanted in a company. I don't work for merx but my fiance does he lost his job and with 2 weeks was working with merx and I can say they are amazing. I didn't want my fiance to go over the road but if he has to be over the road I wouldn't want it to be with any other company but Merx. This week I got to go over the road with him their trucks are great well maintained and very clean. He is apart of the green team.. Thanks merx for accepting my fiance as apart of the team.

Merx Global is a wonderful company to work for! My dispatcher, Martin is the best dispatcher, to me that is! In fact he's one of the best dispatchers that I've ever had, and I'm been driving for 4 years so far!! Y'all come give it a try, I know you'll love it!

Although I was terminated from this company on June 14, 2022, I can confidently say it’s an excellent place to work. If you're considering joining, I highly recommend it. They take care of their employees, and the entire staff is great to work with. You’ll earn through miles and receive solid benefits.

The best aspects of the job are the guaranteed weekly pay and the sign-on bonus. However, working with some employees can be challenging. The overall work environment is high-stress and not particularly rewarding. Daily tasks feel tedious and repetitive—like constantly walking on eggshells.

Speed control isn’t something I enjoy—it feels restrictive, like driving with training wheels. While I understand the need to avoid tickets, a difference of 5 mph doesn’t seem significant compared to other trucks moving at full speed in a 70 mph zone.

This is the best company I’ve ever worked for. The pay is excellent, the teams and management are supportive, and I have flexibility in choosing routes. There’s always a load available, and the miles are great. After nearly two years here, I plan to stay until I retire from trucking.

Merx Global treats me with more respect than any other company I’ve driven for. Starting pay is $0.50 per mile, or $0.55 with a Hazmat endorsement. Reload waits never exceed an hour. I highly recommend working here.

The company primarily operates with live loads and unloads. Overall, it’s a good place to work, starting at $0.50 per mile or $0.55 with Hazmat. Most routes cover the Midwest to the East Coast, with occasional trips farther west. If you put in the effort, the pay is rewarding.

I requested to be home every week due to health reasons, and they let me go, claiming I might leave the truck unattended. To make matters worse, my final paycheck was reduced by over $700. They are dishonest.

Dispatch is great at making OTR life easier. The company fosters a family-like atmosphere. Trucks are all new, and in case of breakdowns, they prioritize driver safety before dealing with the vehicle.
