As we partner with Migway Trucking, it's a thing of pride for us, a company famed as a gigantic private firm of rapid expansion in the United States of America, placed on the Inc. 5000 table in the year 2021. Not being stagnant, they reached this for two consecutive years, with expansions exceeding two hundred percent, which is indeed substantial. Observations on the success of Migway Trucking reveal plans ambitious by nature and durability relatable in nature to the modern generation of the trucking industry.
Migway, located in Charlotte, has an association with the fast trucking business. Their wins, one might suggest, are somehow joined to the ones their clientele achieves. They function with lots of heart - one could argue it's a bit too much at times, maybe - and radical transparency, weirdly enough, maybe not for everybody. Personal dedication isn't something that they do half-heartedly, either; it's for their consumers and staff both, for everyone to hit big in the long haul. But success, however that is defined or seen by them, would be their interpretation - not anybody else's.

I'm new to the company as a truck driver. I'm loving the experience thus far. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff is very professional.
Drivers listen carefully. Stay away from this company. There are red flags everywhere. They promise you can make $1,800 and home weekends and that's far from the truth. You barely making a thousand dollars a week. They pay you from this WEX app fuel card and not direct deposit in your own bank account. They got mad because I quit and they have the ability to block your card so you don't get paid. Russ, Gene the dispatcher, and the ladies in accounting are all in on taking your money or not paying you at all. If you are a previous drive that has worked for this company and has stolen money from or kept money please contact me. The only way is company will learn is us to file a class action lawsuit or complain. Otherwise drivers will continue to get mistreated by this company. Do yourself a favor driver and don't work for this horrible company.
I love working for MIGWAY, the have the miles to put you to work, typical week is Sunday to Friday or Monday to Saturday with the occasionally sat and sun off. My dispatch manager Alice is great, other than break down I have not been down or wait for a load,I typically have a reload before I get unload or no more than an hour wait. I do 2800-3000 miles per week. I feel like the whole team is behind me, as a driver, I haven’t not work for a company that make me feel more comfortable on the road knowing that if I have a problem there will be a solution in a timely manner. I would recommend working here definitely.
The best company I make 2500 every week and they never drug test so you can get away with alot. I have to say if you want to party like the 1980s driver come here you can run paper log no problem . Pull over and draw a line I'm ready to go .
I haven’t been with the company long but so far I’m very happy with the company. The people in the office always try their best to handle any issues quickly. The shop takes care of repair work efficiently and in a timely manner. My driver manager, Alex, keeps me running and gets me home each weekend for a reset. I’ve been with several different companies over the years so I’m well aware that every company has its ups and downs but Migway is one of the better ones that I’ve worked for.
I wish I could less than 1 star. This company is a bunch of thieves. They refuse to pay me on a load they dispatched me on and never communicated that the load was canceled until I was two hrs out from location. 600+ miles one way, that they only not pay me for but tried to charge me $2500 saying I willingly took it up there. The out come, I was covered in their apologies, but no check. They owe me money.
I've worked for Migway for almost 3 years , best job I've ever had , it feels more like family than employer and employee. From dispatch to the shop, safety to HR. Great staff family. My dispatcher Sophia Augusta , is the best so caring and thoughtful to my needs as a driver. Not to mention someone is always there Russ, Vlad , Victor , Nick , Dan , and even the CEO David to help make our trips and days go better and return home safe . Just an all around great family to be apart of. If a driver has trouble fitting in here or getting along with this company, it's on the driver not the company or it's staff. No babysitting wheel holders here. It's a team, and a Family of professionals. Getting the job done.
Mass Manipulation At Its Finest! They Advertise $1800/$2000/Weekly But That’s potential ANYWHERE making $.70 per mile with 2500 to 3000 miles per week… In which Migway can barely accommodate with 260 trucks all serving only 15 states. They only have limited miles to distribute amongst unlimited drivers. They lie and manipulate people into sitting in their truck earning nothing for sits pay. When you address them about sitting, they become disrespectful and encourage you to return the truck. If you don’t like it, Dan, Russ and David are all in on this scam together. They always become frustrated when people call them out on the information. They once offered 2000 per week claiming you get 500 miles per day for five days home every weekend, well that was false information as well. I host the friends and I all have experienced this oh, and also when you return the truck whether it’s clean and return in the same condition you received it they steal escrow pay claim and they hired a detailer after you return the truck. if anyone doesn’t believe me, please go figure them out for yourself and let us know how much things have changed when I was with them. They are an absolute joke, as well as a waste of time. GOOD Luck!
Great place to work. Nice, respectful people. Good money and will keep you as busy as you want to work. Different truck options to choose from. As a driver, you don’t get much better than this! Russ, the driver manager is amazing to work with. I was blessed to find this company!!
The owner knows me by my name here and doesn't even know my truck number. If you're looking for a trucking company that feels like family, then call MigWay. The money is good too!
I couldn't even get passed the phone call. Inna was almost rude in her responses to me. If you think about it, most of us should never even know this job exists because of how great it is. Yet, there is always ads looking for drivers. The only Migway driver I have ever talked to was really angry about the miles he was getting. The other reviews talk extensively about how poorly they are treated after orientation. All I can say from my experience was the response I got from Inna from a perfectly reasonable question:" WELL, if I knew the answer to that I would be in management." I tried to ask another question and she hung up on me. All that and I was being polite... yea don't work there.
Where do I begin? They advertise that you will make $2000 a week for 5 days of work.....they tell you 2 minutes into orientation that you will not. They also dont tell you they collect escrow (10%) plus $50 a week for workers comp. One guy got up and left, and I should have done the same. Home for the weekend (36 hours) 1st two weeks, then they hit me with your too far from home to get you their. Why advertise home every weekend??? Like everyone says, their dispatchers don't have a clue. Good luck getting ahold of anyone, during working hours after working hours and God forbid you need to talk to anyone on the weekend. The we treat you like family.....I would hate to see how they treat their actually family if they treat their drivers like this. No detention, no layover, have not heard one word about any other benefit with this company. Trucks go 68 mph, cameras facing in and out with speakers. Can 1st week 5 days out=$1180 2nd week 4 days =$600 3rd week 5 days =$ ????
Working with Migway has been one of my best experiences, excellent staff, very attentive, payments are exact on the day of collection and not a dollar less. I am very, very happy to be part of the Migway family. 10 stars for them.
I love working at MigWay. DIMA my boy. Takes care of me and gets me those good miles. I get good communication, miles, and I talk with my dispatcher cos he's my friend. I recommend MigWay to everyone. But only if you like to work and make money. If you like to stop and see what's new on the menu at the truck stop, you won't like it here. You can hold a steering wheel somewhere else
I just recently started with Migway and so far so good..I always heard good things about them and I was getting ready to come aboard 2yrs ago but I went in a different direction since I been here I am starting to realize that I wish I would’ve came aboard back then because I’d be further along in the company by now… but all is well…I really appreciate all the hard work Dima puts in to keep me loaded and I really enjoy being on his team since I been out here I have had zero problems with getting the miles….so far the whole staff has done a good job with keeping me rolling…I enjoy the nice equipment and the fact that they give you your load and let you handle your business…like I said…so far so good…I would recommend Migway to the next driver without any hesitation
Best company to drive for. I truly love working here. I'm treated like family. Great equipment. Awesome HOMETIME and Pay
Been working here a few months now. It had its up and downs. Overall I love it. Good equipment, 13 speeds, 10 speeds, manuals. Also have some brand new automatics. Money is good, people treat you with respect. Great place to work.
They want you to be home really when they want you to on the weekend! If you like be home on Fridays, they will try to get you there but just remember you my get stuck somewhere if you don’t start your route out towards home by Thursday morning!!
Migway is consistent with getting drivers home on the weekend and sometimes during the week. The earning potential is great. Although their trucks are really good, you still must complete a thorough pre-trip to prevent unnecessary issues.
This job is for workers only, dont apply if you love stopping at every truck stop you pass. Management is for real, they care about their drivers. Its 1099 so take home is over $2,000 a week. They will get you home every weekend if desired. Most trucks are 10 or 13 speed gliders using paper (keep trucking) logs. They do have 2020 and 2021 automatics but they are ELDs. Management will let you choose which truck you want to drive.
What is the best part of working at the company? Descent pay not the best. Home almost every weekend. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Dealing with brokers and crazy loads. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? They don’t bother you unless you mess up. What is a typical day like for you at the company? You will get your load info and you go and pick up and deliver as close to on time as possible. A lot of there loads are late when you pick it up. Because they handle a lot of missed loads other companies couldn’t get.
Your given a pickup that 90% of the time you can't get there in time, then your made to have to wait until the next day and you won't get paid the layover because you were late. Every driver has to give a 150 dollars a week in escrow, there's a lot of drivers. That's a lot of money, your money and they will not give it all back or put it in an interest bearing account. I was short 150 dollars for detail of the truck which I done before bringing it back. Your pay will not be close to what is promised, they do let you take your dogs though. Don't think letting them know you have something to do, ON YOUR DAY OFF, I missed my granddaughters championship game trying that. My first night there, they made me sleep in a truck which ended up into 3 nights.
As a driver, dispatch is very frustrating to work with. Operations people frequently are condescending toward the drivers; hence the continual turnover
Dispatch is the worst in the industry. You cannot feed your family with them. Exactly why drivers get there own equipment. Sick of lies. Go get it yourself. You cant depend on them for sure
Communication is bad bet levels. Drivers feel not cared about so turnover is always massively high. Owners either do not care or care to hear from drivers directly what is going on? Why employees are so miserable here
YMigway only throws into a truck because they just need someone . Touch freight is 80% which is not advertised . Home time is not weekly . Pay doesn’t get up to what they say.
I've been here for over 1.5 years and enjoy it. I've been a driver for 22 years owner op, company and lease operator. This is a extremely nice company growing in size but keeping the small trucker feel, which makes it great. They don't micromanage, this why they ask for 2 years experience. They run a simple setup to keep you moving and not to over burden with big fleet things to do. Plenty of miles and home time. They have the best truck choices to drive manual and automatics.
Very communicative & prompt. Not much to say. You get what you’re looking for & pay is great. Get you in & out on the road very quickly. Can’t find many negative.
They steal from out of your truck and will not know where any of your drops off are or communicate with other lenders for pick ups. The company is bad. DO NOT WORK HERE ! Poor communication between the bosses and staff !
3 years strong driver here @ Migway and I’m so thankful that I have had a positive experience in that time, from my Driver Operation Director Russ to my day one Drive Manger Sophia along with Alex in it’s been a pleasure. I have been treated with respect and that goes a long way, never once have I had to worry about my pay or time off which is very valuable to any driver. Some people look for a beautiful place. Others make a place beautiful..I know what is expected and I tend to make sure that I’m doing what is also expected on my part, I believe that communication is the keys to any successful relationship and that is one of the many things that has kept me here. The safety department along with the shop is always willing to help and educated on any issues. If you are looking for a positive place to come to work and earn then MIGWAY is it…. Stay safe and positive and good things happen 😉
