James and Bonnie Miller built this company with family values at its core, and it shows
I’m part of a legacy 💪
The team at Miller, both drivers and non-drivers, are dedicated professionals
Equipment usually in good shape. They've got some of the most stringent safety protocols in the industry
I got on with premier logo through miller Billie was my recruiter and was beyond helpful and worked with me through it all. Love the company and what I am doing great place for business
I have worked here for 3 years now. Very good place to work. Good company very nice people here.
Work for a lot of trucking companies in Thirty passed years and I must say these are the best nice people good equipment good pay great benefits life insurance Whole Nine Yards if you need a job this is where to go
Just started with the company and it's just like any other company, Great demanding orientation, and lots of workers, that want to make you feel good in the start, but can't seem to be at the same time afterwards.
First time at the Miller’s truck wash They did an excellent job on my tractor and my trailer
The loader was very helpful with our straps. He was very friendly and informative.
Pretty large company. But still definitely a family run and oriented business. Tommy in parts is one of the coolest guys I've ever met. Knows his stuff too on just about all big rigs.
The best Trucking Company I've ever worked for. Everybody there has a friendly, family type attitude. Occasionally issues do come up as with any company, but they are concerned about that at Miller and issues are always quickly resolved.
Good family and people. Reliable company to do business with, fair to work for. Awesome drivers. Decent equipment. Company, Owner Operator, and Lease Purchase. Local and OTR. Best accounts in the area. Worthwhile.
Terrible company to work for, they wont work with you if you get hurt and have to go to the hospital, not to mention if your spouse has an immediate family member that dies and you tell them you need the day off for the funeral they tell you okay and then fire you as soon as you return to work. They did this to my husband treated him like dirt and tossed him to the side when he worked his butt off for this company. I think they have terrible people working for them and need to take another look at what is going on there.
Work here.... was really good...went down hill... going to give it a little more time and see if it doesn't improve. Miller seems to be making a lot of changes...some have really upset some of their driver's.. although Miller's seems to care, I was contacted about my post on here by the Human resources department a person I have know since I hired on here in May of 2014. She had told me she and management are addressing many issues to try and correct and make things better... I'm hopeful that this company will return to being one of the better companys I have worked for, and will continue to work for for years to come...
Guess they are ok. Been there 14yrs so far
Best company that I have driven for hands down!!
Pretty bad when the company can't even keep the negative posts up about themselves just trying to make it look like they have better reviews then they really have but that's ok The people will see through the B.S.for themselves
Great place to work with great people!
Best company I have ever worked for. A company that actually cares about the drivers and treat you like family. My wife recently had to have emergency surgery and they got me home tge same day in Tulsa to be there when she woke up, also gave me the time I needed to take care of her. They have the miles there for you to run. They do not like to have trucks sit.Have nothing bad to say about them. Good pay and bonuses are nice along with hometime. Hope to be here a long time. Also thinking about lease purchasing a truck with them.
They are very rude unorganized and unprofessional...the worst company I've ever seen....THEY DO NOT APPRECIATE THEIR DRIVERS!!!!!
Been a company driver just under a year for these guys, and I can tell you they make you feel wanted and treat you like family. I truly do enjoy driving for this company, great equipment, and great home time. If you live in Tulsa and need a great company to drive for this is a place to call home. I do and I love it
Working seven days a week leads to excessive workloads, and equipment frequently breaks down. There's no compensation for faulty equipment, and pay remains low with minimal raises.
Drivers don’t enjoy working here—many are actively searching for better opportunities. The chain of command is chaotic, with conflicting instructions from different people. Managers at customer locations often ignore drivers, leaving them standing with unanswered questions. Complaints lead to termination within a week. Some drivers get excessive hours, while others struggle to get enough. Overall, this company isn’t a long-term fit.
Working for Miller Truck Line often felt like there were too many decision-makers and not enough collaboration. Dispatch overstepped boundaries, and teamwork was lacking. Everyone should work as a unit rather than individually.
What is the best part of working at the company? The company treated me like family. I spent a total of 23 years with them. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Waiting for truck maintenance when the shop was overcrowded. Also, delays in getting weekend loads were common. As a local driver and yard jockey, I often saw drivers waiting on cold storage and plant deliveries. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Drivers had varying experiences based on their division—van, flatbed, or temperature-controlled loads. As with any trucking company, workloads fluctuated. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Early in my career, I was always moving or waiting on a load. Later, as a yard jockey, I worked weekdays and occasional Sundays, moving trailers, handling deliveries, and managing empty loads. Some days were fast-paced, while others were slow, but I found ways to stay productive.
Good equipment with solid mileage. Pay is on the lower end, but home time isn’t an issue, and drivers can maximize legal driving hours. Help is available if requested.
Pay is below average for the area, but equipment is well-maintained, home time is reasonable, and drivers aren’t treated like just a number.
Since I started, I’ve never had trouble getting a load or staying busy. They’re helpful both during and after operational hours.
Miller is an older company resistant to change. Drivers still log routes for fuel tax manually and submit paper bills. Long idle times due to poor planning are common. The shop is slow, and management is inefficient. Equipment is average—nothing special. Not my best career move. I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
I’m leaving in a few days. This isn’t a progressive company adapting to the trucking industry's future. It operates on outdated methods. Owner-operators make better earnings, but company drivers earn very little.
Miller’s van division should be local work, but instead of one night out per week as promised, it often turned into three to five nights away. The schedule was inconsistent—sometimes I’d only get details the night before or even the morning of my shift. Making plans was impossible. Equipment was poorly maintained, and repairs took forever. Better jobs exist elsewhere.
This company only wants to fill seats. They deduct money from paychecks with no clear explanation. Vacation pay is withheld, and drivers constantly battle management to receive what’s owed.
Started off with rough pay, then switched to salary, which improved things. But I was pushed as a new Class A driver into a dedicated account where I damaged a trailer door while others watched but did nothing. They fired me for it—even after I fixed the trailer and delivered multiple loads successfully. Bad experience overall.
Disorganized company with little regard for drivers. They overcharge for maintenance and treat drivers poorly, showing no respect for their workforce.
My overall experience at Miller was positive, and I plan to return to the Miller Environmental Transfer division when eligible. I would recommend them.
Too many delays when dropping loads, and they only provide holdover pay if there’s no load available. Flatbed and owner-operator routes are reliable. Overall rating: 2.5/5.
Great company to work for, but living out of state makes work-life balance tough. Drivers are only allowed 3–4 days home after working 4–5 weeks straight. That’s the only downside—the staff is excellent, and the facilities are great. I would recommend them to a friend.
