I got on with premier logo through miller Billie was my recruiter and was beyond helpful and worked with me through it all. Love the company and what I am doing great place for business
I have worked here for 3 years now. Very good place to work. Good company very nice people here.
Work for a lot of trucking companies in Thirty passed years and I must say these are the best nice people good equipment good pay great benefits life insurance Whole Nine Yards if you need a job this is where to go
Just started with the company and it's just like any other company, Great demanding orientation, and lots of workers, that want to make you feel good in the start, but can't seem to be at the same time afterwards.
First time at the Miller’s truck wash They did an excellent job on my tractor and my trailer
The loader was very helpful with our straps. He was very friendly and informative.
Pretty large company. But still definitely a family run and oriented business. Tommy in parts is one of the coolest guys I've ever met. Knows his stuff too on just about all big rigs.
The best Trucking Company I've ever worked for. Everybody there has a friendly, family type attitude. Occasionally issues do come up as with any company, but they are concerned about that at Miller and issues are always quickly resolved.
Good family and people. Reliable company to do business with, fair to work for. Awesome drivers. Decent equipment. Company, Owner Operator, and Lease Purchase. Local and OTR. Best accounts in the area. Worthwhile.
Terrible company to work for, they wont work with you if you get hurt and have to go to the hospital, not to mention if your spouse has an immediate family member that dies and you tell them you need the day off for the funeral they tell you okay and then fire you as soon as you return to work. They did this to my husband treated him like dirt and tossed him to the side when he worked his butt off for this company. I think they have terrible people working for them and need to take another look at what is going on there.
Work here.... was really good...went down hill... going to give it a little more time and see if it doesn't improve. Miller seems to be making a lot of changes...some have really upset some of their driver's.. although Miller's seems to care, I was contacted about my post on here by the Human resources department a person I have know since I hired on here in May of 2014. She had told me she and management are addressing many issues to try and correct and make things better... I'm hopeful that this company will return to being one of the better companys I have worked for, and will continue to work for for years to come...
Guess they are ok. Been there 14yrs so far
Best company that I have driven for hands down!!
Pretty bad when the company can't even keep the negative posts up about themselves just trying to make it look like they have better reviews then they really have but that's ok The people will see through the B.S.for themselves
Great place to work with great people!
Best company I have ever worked for. A company that actually cares about the drivers and treat you like family. My wife recently had to have emergency surgery and they got me home tge same day in Tulsa to be there when she woke up, also gave me the time I needed to take care of her. They have the miles there for you to run. They do not like to have trucks sit.Have nothing bad to say about them. Good pay and bonuses are nice along with hometime. Hope to be here a long time. Also thinking about lease purchasing a truck with them.
They are very rude unorganized and unprofessional...the worst company I've ever seen....THEY DO NOT APPRECIATE THEIR DRIVERS!!!!!
Been a company driver just under a year for these guys, and I can tell you they make you feel wanted and treat you like family. I truly do enjoy driving for this company, great equipment, and great home time. If you live in Tulsa and need a great company to drive for this is a place to call home. I do and I love it
Working 7 days a week, you are overworked and equipment breaks down often and are not compensated for the their faulty equipment. Low paying income and penny raises.
None of drivers like being there. They are all looking for something better. Chain of command is horrendous. One person telling you one thing while another telling you something different. You can stand at managers desk at one of the customers they provide equipment and drivers to for quite a while to ask a question and be ignored until you give up and walk away. Cause any waves or complain and a week later you are fired. Some drivers getting 60 hours a week and complaining they never have free time and others struggling to get hours. My opinion is pass this company by and find something that will be a better long term fit.
Working for Miller truck line it always seemed like it was too many chiefs not enough Indians Dispatch was stepping over the boundaries when it came to. How are you talk to individuals and peoples responsibilities there’s not an I in team everyone should work together as a team and not individual.
What is the best part of working at the company? They treated you like you were part of the family. I had been with them for a total of 23 years. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Waiting to get your truck serviced when the shop was backed up on with a full house already. And then some time's waiting to get a load out for the weekend. But the trucking industry and by then I was a local driver and yard Jockey was seeing drivers waiting on loads from the Cold Storage and plants to get processed and loaded on to trailers for delivery What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Well you had mixed settlements with all the drivers depending on what division you were in. Miller ran vans, flatbeds, and temperature control loads. But like with any trucking company you had your slow periods and your fast periods depending upon the freight. What is a typical day like for you at the company? It was a mixed fold as a road driver before my last 7-8 years working local. You either was on the move or you had to wait sometimes to get a load. When I was working local and doing work as a yard jockey I worked during the week and occasionally on Sunday. I would either be sitting around waiting to move trailers in and out of the doors to either load, get emptied, or pulling out loaded trailers to put on the yard for pu. And even then it could be a fast pace or just sitting most of the day. But I didn't complain much it gave me time to do other things in the plant yard or check stuff on the yard truck.
Good equipment and good miles. Pay on lower end but home time isn't a issue and you can run as much as you are legally able. They will help you if you ask
Pay is on the lower end for the area. But that being said good equipment home time isn’t really a problem miles are there and they don’t treat you like a number.
From the time I've started, I have never had a problem getting a load or being able to run. They're very helpful during operation hours and after hours.
Miller is an old company that is stuck in the old ways of doing things. Driver still logging rts for fuel tax, still handing in paper bills. Sitting for long periods has become the norm due to poor planning. Shop is good but slow. Overall just poorly managed. Equipment is ok but nothing special. Probably the worst situation I’ve gotten myself into. I would recommend that you keep looking. I’m fortunate enough that I don’t have to be here.here
I am leaving the company in a few days Not a very good young productive company moving in the trucking industry for the future. Very old. Not a good bet. If you own your own tractor then you make out more, but company drivers you will make peanuts
Van Division of Miller is supposed to be local work. They ask you up front to be out one night a week, not bad, but it was very often 3 nights and all 5 nights occasionally. I never knew my schedule until the night before or often the morning of my shift. Plans could never be made. Equipment is not well maintained and if something is broken, the will take forever to fix it. There are better jobs out there.
all they try to do is fill a seat they will take money out of your check without a truthful explanation. they will keep your vacation pay you're constantly fighting with management to get what you're supposed to get for the trucks
Start off rough with this company with pay at first then they switch me to salary things start to look better until my boss push me the new class a driver to go to a dedicated account where I mess up trailer door and the people watch me do it didn’t stop me so they let me go for that on top of that got trailer door fix went back got load and delivered it woke up the next day delivered another load then they let me go
They are un organization and don’t care about there drivers , they over charge for matinence, and they play drivers like a puppet , no respect for their drivers
I had a very good experience for the most part at Miller. Will be return very soon to the Miller Environmental Transfer side when eligible. Definitely recommend.
To many long waits to drop loads, they only paid you holdover pay if you dont have a load. Reliable routes if you are flatbed or Owner Operator. Overall rating 2.5/5
Honestly they are a great company to work for it’s just if you live out of state it hard to balance life and work because you can only go home for 3-4 days after working 4-5 weeks at a time the length of home time is short but literally that’s the only con about the company staff is awesome and there facilities are great definitely would recommend them to friend
