National Express Carriers - they began working in 2013. An operation that stretches right through the transport industry of all 48 states. Now, it's not just any transport; it includes sorting varieties of freight: refrigerated, flatbed, less-than-truckload, dry van... our area of expertise. Owner operators who carry CDLs have their shot too. We're into modern equipment, and an unwavering freight supply. Not to forget, compensation's rather good on the whole.
Allied in the quest for flexibility and steadiness, independent operators discover a match with National Express Carriers. Individual scheduling could be why operators love the control they have. However, the rugged over-the-road requirements may create precise issues. A generous compensation for many long hours might be the irresistible competitive pay, broadened freight options, and lease-purchase programs for some occasional, very select operators. For an ambitious individual to earn a lot, it is an exciting prospect. But then, running personal trucks has something to do with already-established responsibilities of maintenance that one must get ready for.

National Express Carriers relies on constant operation, all 365 days. A large area of 48 states - we reach there with the trustworthiness of our services. In the Midwest, strategically positioned, we make use of vast highways. Important for our service's efficiency, our base is in Romeoville, a minor town in Illinois. Our eyes are set high in aspirations at National Express; we want to be frontrunners in dispatch services, and our client's belief in our services around the clock is treasured. Too, distinct is our early upload of paperwork, like receipts and proof of delivery, a few hours post-dispatch of goods. Further, clients can always file for proof and receipts; they're stored accessibly, even at late hours.

Not everything can go perfect in logistics, and at National Express they understand that; They have been nothng less than a 5 star partner. Can always expect responsiveness, top tier service, and when things go wrong they help get to a solution on priority. Its been a pleasure working with them and I am looking forward to many continued years of our partnership.
Great carrier- I have been a broker for many years, and have never had any issues with dispatch or drivers. New equipment , and good tracking systems- recommended for all US Lanes.
Update as of 06/21/2024: Received a call from the company attempting to get me to remove the review on 06/06/2024. Told them to get me an email from management stating they’ll pay me everything owed and we can talk. Was told they’d get back to me and it’s now been 2 weeks with nothing. They clearly see the reviews and don’t like it, but not enough to pay what they owe. Update as of 05/10/2024: They've now kept my escrow of 600 on top of the 600 they charged me and aren't picking up their phones. This company is nothing but a front to siphon money from unwitting drivers looking for a job. Quitting this trash company has now cost me $1800 between the money they withheld and my own expenses to get home. Drivers, do not under any circumstances consider this company. It will end poorly and you'll have no money to show for it. As a driver, avoid this company. Bad dispatchers with poor communication. If you run percentage pay they won’t show you the line haul pay upfront, they expect you to go to the home office to see the ratecons to verify you’re actually getting paid what they say and also require that you give them heads up so they can “get the ratecons ready.” If you decide to quit and take the truck and trailer back to the office they charge you for the fuel and wear and tear on the truck, which cost me $600 off my final paycheck. Could have been disrespectful and left the truck and trailer at a convenient place for me, but instead returned it and got charged for my effort. Clearly this company only cares about how much money they can suck from drivers and not about driver retention.
Terrible driving etiquette! No rear license plate displayed, driving very slow holding up a lot of traffic on I55 exiting in the 1st avenue exit just holding traffic. Then after I go around him he wants to drive fast? Can’t control your life or wife so you want to control the road? What is it? Or is it that you’re milking the company’s clock driving slow? Step on the gas and get to work, you’re causing a traffic jam. Better train your drivers to do better bc there’s a lot of people leaving reviews based off your professional driving
Today August 23rd 2020 a driver from National Carriers, Inc. left his truck at Flying J’s fuel bay in Lake Township, OH. Driver just parked his truck and left for shower with the backpack. It took me about 15 mins to fuel my truck and once I’ve pulled forward to vacate fuel bay for another trucker I have spent additional 15 mins getting my fuel receipts and buying water. When I came back to my truck National Express Carriers, Inc. number 2012/338048 still at the fuel bay unattended. Very selfish and disrespectful. Dispatchers educate your drivers how to behave professionally and respect others.
Owe me 2500. No final check. No final settlement. DO NOT PAY WHAT THEY OWE YOU!!!!! IM OWED LAY OVER, DETENTION, AND MILES THAT NEVER GETS PUT ON MY CHECK. RETURNING TRUCK AND CONTACTING MY ATTORNEY. IF YOU ARE OK WITH 800/900 CHECKS A WEEK BEFORE TAXES. THIS IS YOUR Place. Oh, and don't bank on getting any of that truck deposit back.
We've been doing business with National Express Carriers since 2015. Top client! Very professional staff. They know the transportation business very well, adapt quickly to industry changes, are innovative, and take good care of their drivers.
Driver NECE 136 cut off several people on a major highway multiple times in a 15 minute time frame nearly causing accidents each time. No blinker was used nor was any caution, they just came over when they wanted all while traveling at a fast pace. This driver is a danger to the road as they unsafely are constantly changing lanes without any care to others on the road during dusk/ night time.
National Express Carrier could improve by having drivers that don't try to RAM people off the highway! I was merging onto 355N off of 55N where two lanes merge into one. I was in the left lane and had the right of way. This crazy man in the National Express Carrier truck came out of NO WHERE and practically pushed me out of the way. Other than holding my position behind the car in front of me, I had to slam on my breaks and get off the highway for HIM to complete HIS merge when he wasn't even supposed to be there and give right away to people in front of him in the left lane. While continuing on 355N, the driver continued to harass me on 355 by riding the lane and blocking me in between him and the cones blocking off the construction zone. He continued to drive in the middle lane and had forced me to drive behind him so that he couldn't continue to block me. Oh no, don't worry! He continued to cut off people in and around him. I called state troopers to keep on the look out, and gave his license plate number. Unbelievable!! I will never use this company or refer to anyone. When calling the number on the back of the truck, the woman who answer "number 3 for safety" seemed to be less concerned at the fact that one of her drivers almost caused an accident. If I could give ZERO stars I would, but since I am required to give at least one for this post -- here ya go
I worked for National Express Carriers for almost 4 years. I can honestly say the dispatchers are amazing I had two Peter and Donny and I can tell you these two men honestly cares about their drivers. The safety department ran by Veronica and Sasha are top notch their perfessional and always available to help the drivers. The human resource department ran by Tom will always try his best to assist any driver who need assistance. Great company if you wanna drive great equipment and wanna run they will definitely keep you moving
Great company… the best I’ve ever worked for and I’ve been doing this for quite awhile let’s just say more then 5years. I was tempted to give them 4 stars because their truck fleet can use some updating they have allot of older model Volvos & freight liners that need to be sold that’s my only gripe with this magnificent company.
take my money pay this truck SE go sale truck sent me money never do take my escrow money pay change turbo in truck plus take truck 1 year perfect working one day coming Thoma broken my life completely this truck is my life spent crazy money look beautiful everywhere pluss only driver make $11,000 week
The terminal was easy to get to . I was the only one in orientation. The first truck I got into for a skills test, had engine light on. All they did was call into the shop and did nothing. Todd my recruiter . Thought he was ok. Until he lied about being there on my first day. And did not go there with getting me a advance to live on. To top it all of the safely lady did not even know if I was still coming. Todd did not tell her. She seemed superised to see me there.
Enjoying my time with National Express! My loads keep coming, I have the BEST dispatcher too. Arnold has great communication and we work well together.
National Express carriers, great company to work for, (3mos) my dispatch name was Anthony, things started off a little rocky but over all he was a great guy to work with.
Long post: first I didn’t have any problems with the company at all. I actually planned on staying with them for a long time. They want to give 3000 plus miles a weekbut let me tell you how they did me wrong for now reason. I was let go for them saying I didn’t drive out my recap hours and not making 3000 miles. I could only drive the miles that were giving to me. I also was told Al (my dispatcher) was supposed to tell me I was under performing because I had 2800 miles for one week and didn’t drive the Friday when the weather was bad in Pennsylvania on 12/23/22. Got up and drove the next day and dropped the load at out yard on Christmas. Didn’t give me my holiday pay for driving over the holiday, saying I didn’t drive enough miles and that the Friday 12/23/22 I didn’t drive while other drivers drove. They will change your drive time while you are driving to try to have you to drive more hours (I have video to prove it). Let’s see if I get my escrow back at the end of month.
Truck drivers, this is not the company for you, stay away. Have you ever had a company try to reverse your previous paycheck and never pay you your final one. You might not have to find out as long as you stay away from this one, they are not on your side. They will blame you and throw you under the rug for anything. They might have super models working in the office but that's to distract you.
Been with this company since August 2019and gotta say they delivered on their end. The 1st time I have driven a Volvo but man it's a smooth ride. And when they told me 3,000 miles a week, I said sweet but though it was gonna be the typical 2,000 to 2,500 miles a week deal. That's not the case they run their trucks hard, so if your not up to running 10 1/2 hour days dont waste your time. I'm very happy working here and everyone has treated me very good. Great company, great pay and good benefits.
I been working with National Express for almost two years. one year company driver and the rest as owner operator, My dispatch keep me very busy we make excellent miles and great money she is the best.
NEC is a small company in Romeoville, Illinois. I don't know how many trucks they have. What I like about them: Kept me busy, friendly management, great equipment. What I don't like about them: Driver facing cameras, big eye in the sky is always watching, drop&hook is very rare, all broker loads, broker tracking and calls, detention pay is not great, no pay increase since hire, no incentives to increase pay, no holiday or vacation pay.
reviews by family members who work here not home time no communications poor trailer equipment research every thing FMCSA OWNER AND ASK MANY QUESTIONS THXS CALL ME OR FOLLOW TTUCKINGWITHV.COM
Nothing to report as good. You are on constant watch with the camera and Zonar equipment. Very stressful , they only guarantee you 25 hours a week, if you work more you don’t get paid.
All in all, if you like yo make money and don't mind being on the road you'll like this company. They pay well and they have really good benefits. 1099 contracted driving at it's finest
Fast paced company that will work you as much as they can, maybe at times a little too much. Everyone in the office was super nice and was willing to answer any questions. Dispatch was very detailed and laid out everything for you such as pick up and delivery needs. I was responsible for documenting all bols and scanning them to the office.
They can do better in vehicle repairing and not charging drivers for every repair needed, such as tires, glad hands and stuff that's inevitable to brake.
They will flat out take your money. My escrow has been full for months yet they’ll take $500 and I don’t care if you’re upset. They’ll charge you for a lost charger to there tablet at the same time it’s charging. They always find reasons to take your money ALWAYS. Also have to watch your fuel transactions
Very good company. Highly recommended......... New opportunities and versatile nature of work that kept me motivated everyday. My colleagues were friendly and helpful. My supervisor was really encouraging and supportive and helped me out whenever I needed it.
Great company to work with. I've done a few loads now with Andy and I can say that he has great work ethic and when it comes to quick responses whether its for a load update, load inquiry or me offering new business he is nothing short of spectacular. Looking forward to what the future brings and locking in new business!
