Working for Legend has been an amazing experience. I was hired to do production work at their Phoenix Az distribution center. The facilities were all new, clean and comfortable. The people that work there treated me with the upmost respect and were very fun to get work with them. We achieve amazing results and I look forward to working with them in the near future. This company does some shady things and if you are looking to apply they are hiring. I heard about the mass firing they did a few weeks ago and they called me to take a pay cut to help company, they also said there will be more miles. I didn’t receive more miles i was averaging around 2200 miles/ a week and also getting tons of live loads and unloads and try to cut your money out. They also make huge promises in extra pay as they say they will give you a per diem but in my experience they just take the money back and give you a huge run around into why you don’t get it. They are a mess of a company always looking for cheap solutions and trying to make driver pay for all expenses for truck but never reimbursing you. The trucks are ok and most trailers aren’t well maintained so be aware and do your research before joining this company. I will say the good thing they had was a didn’t receive a bad Driver Manager they seem pretty good but thats the best thing they have going for them.

They send mechanics to disable my truck just to be terminated. 4 yrs driving here i never had complain here except for the miles same old reason freight slow. Safety sets 10 pts. rule that wasnt follow upon my termination and the reason is still at fault accidents. Dispatch didnt even call me and not even stand up at least to explain why. Downside: Low Mileage Poor Dispatch Communication. And Many More. Try this company and you'll find it out....

Just got terminated from this company. And only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the way they went about it. You don't send a mechanic to tell a driver they are being terminated. Had good runs and bad runs but that's trucking but a driver manager can't step up and tell a driver they are being terminated is a horrible practice no matter what and sending a mechanic to tell them is wrong

Butternutz is right..Chris was my last dm and the worst too. He is under the misguidnace of his boss Raman who is running drivers away right and left. Wish there was better to say bit the truth is they went down. I worked there for 1 year and it was good in the beginning but went to the dogs. Raman is good friends with the owner Sunny Samara so you're never going to win that fight. Too bad. Sad! A once good company turned on their drivers. They really do not care about the drivers at all and Cristian shouldn't even be a manager. He is not a people person and Raman . Enough said! Drivers stay away. They are no good for you here!!

I've been employed with Legend Transportation for almost five years, and have close to 25 years in the trucking industry. In a time when a lot of smaller and mid sized carriers are shutting their doors, or laying off employees.. Legend remains strong, and continues to grow. We have a lot to offer our drivers- Great equipment, competitive pay, great support staff, regular home time and miles! Drivers are also allowed to bring passengers and their pets on the road. You can' t make every driver happy, however I think we do a pretty great job! I am extremely proud to be a part of this amazing team.

I have grown with Legend over the past few years, starting as a recruiter, now recruiting Manager. Legend really values feedback from every side, and they take action to grow and improve where needed. We really try to focus on communication and integrity. I could not think of a better place to work. My team and co-workers are some of the most talented, and hardworking people I have ever worked with.

Listen to those who have been with the company for a bit. They start you off good then cut you down to making 300 a week paychecks. They put you up in nasty hotels with more hookers than a fisherman while you make nothing. Dispatch speak broken English and hard to understand and don't care about Americans. They hire trash off the road while saying you need experience. Don't fall for their lies. You don't matter to anyone in the offices or the owner

if you are looking for a job, this is not the place. Hands down worst company I have ever ran with. Always a fight to get miles and pay corrected. The driver manager they put me under has zero customer service skills. Have had to cuss him out and his boss on multiple occasions just to get what I am owed. The language barrier is atrocious. Not with everyone, but for the most part it is difficult to understand many. if you a re looking for a place that treats you like a number, then this is the place for you. If you you do decide to work for them, keep records, recordings, screen shots of everything. They like to play lets make a deal with pay. Considering the back round and culture of the owner, its no wonder. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!

To whom it my concern, I am writing to express my concern about the recruitment process for the OTR position at New Legend. I recently applied for this position and was disappointed with the way my application was handled. I have seven plus years of OTR experience all driven safely and in accordance with FMSCA ELD requirements. I had a medical issue and lost my CDL and then I went ahead and did all the required testing and got it back. Now I only have 4 months of experience from the last company that I had to quit because of personal family reasons and also not happy with the safety of the last company. I also told the recruiter I use a CPAP machine which I would think companies would appreciate since it really helps my sleep and deal with changing hours of over the road driving. The recruiter did not know if the trucks had inverters to use this machine so I would not run to work anyway. I am a qualified candidate for this position. I am confident that I have the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in this role. However, the recruitment process has made me question whether [company name] is a company that I want to work for. I am urging you to review and improve your recruitment process. A positive recruitment experience is essential for attracting and retaining top talent. I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and make necessary changes. Does experience not matter or would you rather have someone with 6 months or a year of experience when I have 7. Plus proven years of loyal service. And 4 months of recent over the road with the same company that I drove for three times and at over 10,000 mi a month. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Joe Kampa

Lots of false information, advertising in Oregon area for local. Spoke to a recruiter cain, but on drivers pulse never replys, they tried putting me otr, when they keep posting on Craigslist local. Either a scam to try to push you otr. But overall, not a place to sign with if they continue to put false information to get you to go otr..!!

The cat who owns this company seems to know what he's doing. Taking a play book from Sam Walton. A very smart man who knew how to run a business. First take care of your customers. Then take care of your driver's. This is a fair company. Good equipment, good miles, and very good pay. I've been out on this road 36 years. Alot of the companies I've worked for have gone out of business. I can give u new truckers some good advice. Always leave yourself an out. But understand how trucking works. If you didn't come out here to run. Pack it in. Mother trucking will give you everything. But as much as she gives she can take. Recap Always leave yourself an out. Jarvis gave a great orientation at Phoenix. I'm packing it in very soon. Retirement. But I wish you all well and happy 😊 trails.

They're doing what most other trucking companies are doing: not hiring. Many companies have lost half their customers due to the slowed-down economy, with groceries being the main items selling right now. Despite knowing drivers are ready to work, these companies lack enough customers to justify hiring. They invite 20+ drivers for interviews but don’t hire anyone. Stay home and avoid the hassle. 🤣😆🤣

What is the best part of working at the company? The equipment—trucks and most trailers. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Planners and forced dispatch. Company yards are often overcrowded, especially on weekends. Home time can be difficult to arrange. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Decent overall. The shop is reliable, and night dispatch is helpful. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Rushing to complete a load so they can dispatch you to another.

Unless you’re working OTR, you won’t get a new truck. Dispatch is disorganized, frequently canceling loads and blaming customers when they actually assign them to other drivers. After the first few weeks, you get dispatchers from other countries who struggle to assist you. After-hours support is practically nonexistent.

Miles are inconsistent, with too many drivers and insufficient freight due to rapid expansion. Most loads are relays to drop yards with short miles. Communication is poor, and night breakdown doesn’t coordinate with morning dispatch. Many dispatchers struggle with English, making this an exceedingly frustrating workplace.

I’ve been a regional driver with Legend for about a year. Communication with my DM is excellent—they prioritize assisting me whenever needed. The team at Legend is friendly, knowledgeable, and allows drivers to focus solely on driving. They rarely call unless it’s important. I’ve been here a few months and have no complaints. I receive consistent miles weekly and am usually home 10–20 hours before my 70-hour reset. Success in trucking jobs depends on your relationship with your dispatcher. Here, they keep you moving, often assigning your next load before the current delivery. Expect to drive approximately 11 hours a day.

After nearly three years with New Legend, I’ve found the company to be a good fit. They don’t micromanage, and average miles per load are over 1,200.
