Nova lines come off as a good company. After being here for at least four months they really show their true colors I went to a funeral after going under a bridge that did not have the signs posted. I was told to put my things in one of their rooms by one of their staff after coming back from the funeral they put me in a loaner truck I stayed on the road for 20 days until I came back to the terminal to find out all my things was throwing away, at least that’s what they said they will steal from you and say they threw it away and then they will try to lowball you on how much your stuff is worth I am not the only guy at this company that this has happened to. They even had the audacity to cut my lock off of my trailer that I’m paying for and take my personal tarps so if you are thinking about coming to Nova lines take a second guess they are crooks. Even the boss try to steal something that was my. And when he find out that I had papers on it, he turned it in. I do not recommend this company at all you will run heart you will not get any breaks. If you go home for home time, your truck and trailer payment will be pushed back. There is no better way to say this, but one of the worst lease purchase companies I have ever been to

When your drivers see a sign that says "use both lanes to merge point", that doesn't mean to take both lanes for the last mile. Stupid idiot.

Was a little skeptical i was recently hired at nova lines, i did a lease purchase before and was a little on the fence about coming to nova but my experience has been great from brandy my recruiter getting me to orientation and the whole process to getting my truck. First off if your willing to work and put the effort into running these loads they will get you quality loads and good rates they are not just booking anything to where the company makes money and you get the crumbs. Honestly i wish i would of came here sooner i am happy with my dispatcher and the way the company treats me and i cant think of anything to really complain about. If your a hard worker and are willing to do the work nova lines is the place for you. I have talked to several other nova drivers at the terminal and along the route and they have been doing well

I've been working here for just over a month. Been a lease op before, this company handles things well. You work hard, you make money. Compared to a W-2 job. You can't slack off in trucking if you're trying to run your own business.

As a new hire here at Nova Lines I’ve been in orientation for a few days and everything been going great. Julianna who’s over the orientation was very helpful and made sure everyone had a clear understanding of the business and everything we signed up for as a driver. Eric who’s the driver trainer made sure we went over all the safety protocols and how to properly secure loads. Overall Nova Lines shows the importance of the driver by interacting with each driver one on one to get to know everyone personally and what they are more comfortable with to see what best fits them as a driver. I feel this is a great company to start a solid foundation on possibly becoming your own boss and starting your own business in the future. I want to thank everyone at Nova Lines for this great opportunity…

Company will seem great at first but don’t fall for it. They will steal your money and not answer the phones when you are trying to reach them to get paid what you are owed. My husband returned his truck to their truck yard and was told that they had to make sure that the truck was not damaged for him to receive his last check and he would receive his pay the next week. Well, here we are 3 weeks later, truck not damaged and we still have not received his last payment. They are also, not answering the phones and he has left several messages. Been asking for management over the dispatching department and they don’t have a number for any other departments besides safety or will not transfer you to any type of management. Tried searching for another number but when we get someone else on the phone they transfer us to the dispatching department(dispatcher). Hopefully this review helps someone or maybe this review will have someone help us get more information on this matter.

Very good company. Dispatcher was awesome. Never waited on loads. He worked very hard One thing about this company is dispatchers work on commission so they work hard to get you loads. Very good equipment. The company has great staff, and the other drivers would always acknowledge you on the road. Had to leave for personal reasons but as soon as I’m able I will be back at nova lines

Good people, management is very respectful and listens to the drivers with a conscious mind. Trucks in working order(201), may need still some work on when you get it, they work with you to get the issues resolved. Dispatchers are overseas, there is a little bit of a language barrier. Sometimes you do have to work up the chain to get things addressed due to the things lost in translation.

Nova Lines is a great company, one of the better companies I have worked for. They have a supportive office staff. I get along great with my dispatcher. I have driven their older and newer trucks and they are running good and well maintained. I have hauled many different loads which caused me to sharpen my skills. Never sat more than a day.

I’ve been a driver with Nova for 6 months now and am impressed with the efficiency and transparency of this company. Each dispatcher only works with a handful of drivers which gives them more time to find good loads and negotiate for the best rates possible so there’s no sitting and waiting. It’s also not forced dispatch so you can accept or decline any load you want completely stress free but the dispatchers are very knowledgeable and know the best profitable lanes to run. The equipment is also top notch and the maintenance department will assist you with anything you need, whether it be finding parts or service centers with no wait times for pay approvals. With any company you get what you put into it, if you run hard you can see great returns and they’ll also get you home when you need to be. The lease program is one of the best that I’ve seen, I would very much recommend this company to anybody looking to work to own their own truck and trailer and make good money while doing so.

Came here very skeptical and I've made some very good money here. All the way up to CEO are very helpful and appreciate there drivers as long as that truck is putting miles on it. They are about their money and want to see the drivers succeed as well. They care about their drivers and respect each driver just like any other company. I am delighted to share my experience with Nova Lines Trucking's maintenance department at their terminal shop. In my years as a truck driver, I have encountered various repair shops, but none have impressed me as much as Nova Lines. Their dedication to providing fast and efficient service is truly commendable. Whenever my semi-truck requires maintenance or repairs, Nova Lines' terminal shop is my go-to destination. The moment I arrive, I am greeted by a team of skilled technicians who are always ready to help. Their friendly and professional demeanor puts me at ease, knowing that my truck is in capable hands. One of the most remarkable aspects of Nova Lines' maintenance department is their ability to swiftly diagnose and fix issues. Time is of the essence in the trucking industry, and every minute of downtime can result in lost opportunities. However, Nova Lines understands this perfectly and consistently delivers prompt repairs without compromising on quality. The technicians at Nova Lines possess an impressive depth of knowledge and experience in handling various trucking repairs. They have successfully resolved multiple issues with my semi-truck, ranging from engine troubles to electrical malfunctions. It is evident that they take pride in their work and are genuinely passionate about maintaining the integrity and safety of each vehicle that comes through their shop. Furthermore, Nova Lines' terminal shop is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and equipment. This enables their technicians to diagnose problems accurately and efficiently, reducing the time required for repairs. The shop is well-organized and maintained, creating a conducive environment for their staff to work effectively. I must also commend Nova Lines for their transparent and fair pricing. They provide detailed explanations of the repairs needed and the associated costs before proceeding with any work. This level of transparency is highly appreciated, as it allows me to make informed decisions regarding my truck's maintenance while keeping my budget in check. In conclusion, Nova Lines Trucking's maintenance department at their terminal shop is nothing short of exceptional. Their commitment to delivering fast and reliable repairs is truly commendable. From the moment I arrive until the moment I leave, their team ensures that my truck receives the necessary attention promptly. I wholeheartedly recommend Nova Lines' terminal shop to fellow truck drivers who value efficient and high-quality maintenance services.

I’ve been at Nova Lines since January 27 of 2021. I don’t have anything bad to say about the company overall they treat me like family. It’s not all peaches in cream, that’s no where in this trucking industry. I get good paying loads. Even with the market being down I’m still able to manage. I have a good driver manager. We work together to help each other out. I get home when I want to. That’s important. I’m not forced to go somewhere I don’t want to. I pick loads from a load board and give them to my driver manager & she makes it happen or she’ll give me options. It’s a business and I get it. Nova Lines set you up to be successful. It’s on you to wanna put the work in. I can’t speak on other drivers & their experience here because we all have different experiences some good some bad. It has its pros and cons just like any other company. Nova Lines since I’ve started has grown and it’s only going to get better. Everyone here at the office treat you with respect & is there to help when needed. Only thing I would like to do is be able to book my own loads or have that choice to call brokers & set up loads. Again my overall opinion of is Nova Lines Inc. is a great company to work for lease/owner operator.

Do Not waste your time with the lease purchase deal. It is just like all the rest. They say you can make $9000 a week. What they mean is if you don't make at least $9000 a week you will not get paid and end up owing the company money. You pay for everything and I mean everything after they take 20% off the top you are left paying for all truck expenses and fuel. This is a no win situation for the driver. Take my advice and stay away from this company and any other lease purchase deal

I've been driving for them for a bit now and though their equipment is good be weary of the dispatchers they assign you. They have their great dispatchers but they also have rookies that will run you into the ground if you let them. Also keep an eye on your settlement and make sure everything is correct. It's not that they come off as shady but they have made mistakes.

This has been 1 of the worst experiences in the last 9 months with Nova lines. As most of us know how lease purchase works this one is the worst at 1st they dress it up all nice but are really just snakes. It's an 80/20 split but they put everything into that 20% Fuel surcharge, Permits and minupulating rate conformation. for loads you name it it's in that 20% not to mention micro management from safety. Once you peel all that back there's nothing left. I came onboard with 6months savings and have blown through all that. Fortunately I have something lined up and I will be running as far form nova lines as possible. My best advice is don't do it buy your own truck or stay company untill you can.

Quick to work out problems on the road no matter what time or where. Truck driving is a culture unto itself and a way of life so much so that if you're in it to win it, this company will help you out.
