I was told upon hire P&D drivers make upwards of 70K, MAYBE after 10 years when you eventually get off swing shift and work 12 hour days with OT. We are too stupid to math I guess, but it is still decent hourly so I let it slide. But on swing where you will start, 5 hour days are not uncommon so be prepared to "call it" at 8 when you started at 3 a couple/multiple times a month. I was told you would fill in for a hostler every now and then, try multiple times a week as a new P&D driver. The dispatchers/managers on the 2:00pm - 11:00 shift are dating. They give favor to drivers they like and dump on drivers they dont, be it with truck selection or tasks to complete for better hours. Office management is so out of touch with the yard dispatch does what they like and their word is law, basically office management is not engaged with the drivers whatsoever aside from friendly conversation. Most trucks are pushing a million miles, I red tagged 3 trucks in 2 days once. If you are the type to show up and do your job quietly and not get involved too much you might do well, other than that be prepared for high school social politics.

This place is very judgmental and they pick on you they give you write ups for no reason and they don’t give you the days off that you ask for unless you are friends with them or they like you they have preferences with different drivers and treat everyone differently very bad company to work for

What is the best part of working at the company? Seniority gets you nothing. No time to recover from injury as there is no light duty activities. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Physically demanding, irregular dispatching What is the work environment and culture like at the company? My way or the highway mentality. They say they listen, but what they are listening to are for people who dont go with thier flow What is a typical day like for you at the company? First i wait for a dispatch by text, usually 5:30 am telling me what time i need to report in,usually 2hours notice but most times less than that.several ASAP moments. When u arrive to work they will assign you a tractor and inform you of your tasks for the day No matter your work load you are required to take a 30 min “lunch” break, often very conflicting and seldom at your convience. Most days are 10-12 hrs some days more some days less

I liked working for them overall, but they have a lot of old equipment that they need to replace. A lot of heavy pallets you work with a manuel pallet jack. They will put anything on the truck that is not condusive for a box trailer that should be on a flatbed trailer...

This was one of the worst places I worked. Horrible hours (either too much to do or too little). Old and outdated fleet. Management doesn't believe you when things happen that you didn't do. Pay is average but it's rediculous when guys been working for the company since the 80s and make the same amount as the guy they hired yesterday. This job made me realize I hated driving trucks.

You won't ever do a good job. There's always ways you should have done better. Harassment at night, uncalled for. I've seen 1970's mobile home trailers with better electrical stability then their Loomis Rd location in Stockton.

Management is great. The job is ok when there is work. You never know when you’re getting off (It could be a 5 hour day or 14 hour day) so don’t plan ahead..

Horrible management from the top down has created a toxic work environment. Equipment is absolute garbage, with trailers from the 80's and trucks that shouldn't even be on the road. Management will lie to your face with a smile on theirs.

You can expect longer than 8 hr days at this terminal, really depends on the season and how under staffed. Mostly doing a route in the morning and afternoon and then long box swaps at night. The benefits are great the pay is good, but not quite as high as I’ve heard some other companies pay. The other drivers and dock workers are friendly. Management doesn’t bug you if you do your job.

Your work ethic is what stands out. Management works with you on all levels. Get in and do your job and you’ll be fine. Communication is key. If you need to leave early, communicate to dispatch and they will let you. I wish the dock to driver program moved a little quicker. But overall I would rather make $2 less and stay here than go to another company. Great company to work for, according to what has been said about other companies. Equipment is decent. Only thing I could wish for is weekly pay.
