Offen has an extensive history of supplying fuel to the correct tank, at the proper time, every instance. Offen Petroleum started its journey as Reedy Coal and Fuel Company in the late 1930s. In 1967, Jim and Ester Offen acquired the company and renamed it Offen Petroleum, which it remains today. Since then, the company has expanded to become one of the largest fuel distributors in the nation and has broadened its services to now include propane, lubricants, DEF, and fuel-handling necessities.

I do wonder if their efforts are enough to sway public opinion in a market that’s increasingly leaning towards renewable energy.
I can honestly say this company has a rich legacy that’s hard to beat.
We're getting the right fuel in the right tank at the right time, and we nail it every time!
I’d love to see them leverage more technology
Aggressive driving. The tanker that delivers to the garden of the god to Ryder need to be careful. Forcing your way through small cars is careless. Crashes reported to FMCSA by states for 24 months prior to: 07/20/2024: (14 TOTAL!!!!)
A driver went out of his way to tell me thank you for waiting and being patient while maneuvering his truck in a gas station parking lot. It makes such a day when you tell someone thank you. I really appreciated his kind gesture. Truck 2112 VIN RSVA2240 Thank you sir. Drive safe
Big company Zero knowledge of doing business Unfortunately they have no idea what they doing Don’t know how they became so big
This driver tried to run me off the road in a construction zone! I should have let him hit me and then I could have sued. I will take down the review if the company disciplines the driver.
Be careful, the driver of this company steal hundreds of gallon gas from its costumes. I ordered 7000 unleaded gas, 1000 mid, and 500 premix from this company a few days ago. The driver only u loaded not even 700 gallons of mid and unleaded gas was more than one hundred gallons short. What was more hateful, when he unloaded the gas, he spilled lots of gas at the joint, would not stop it for minutes. This company would not listen to me or do any thing about my shortage, so I will not pay the stollen gas, why should I pay what I have never got?
Your drivers milk the clock, sitting on the rack collecting a time stamp... us drivers that are on load pay got things to do, we can't sit a at the rack all day because your drivers wanna sit there with arms hooked up not flowing for 45 minutes
1 of ur drivers just took out a car this morning in westminster Colorado maybe u should teach your drivers how to handle a truck before putting them on the road
Truck 770 blew a red light could of caused accident
Nice company.
No trucks on sable north of colfax. Shortcut to refinery on Smith road.
Top notch, very professional.
Awesome business
A good company with hourly pay and an excellent bonus program. Do your job and earn $6,000 a year plus a yearly retention bonus. Benefits are solid. However, they tend to over-hire occasionally.
What is the best part of working at the company? They offer very competitive pay and provide plenty of mileage for drivers. Overall, a great company. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Communicating with dispatch can occasionally be challenging. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Very positive. They are a respectful company that values their employees.
Excellent experience for owner/operators, especially with dedicated routes.
All the good dispatchers are leaving simultaneously, and nobody seems to care. The company is deteriorating rapidly after expanding too quickly, losing focus on employee well-being.
What is the best part of working at the company? Competitive pay that is above the area’s average. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Petty supervisors and constantly needing to watch your back. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Generally good overall, but the local office environment is poor. Remote workers aren’t managed well, and you often feel isolated. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Rushed, stressful, and very long.
Drivers work well together, but the scheduling is poor, wages are low, and the mechanic manager and his friend are awful. However, the night shift mechanics are fantastic. Dispatch is okay, and the owner’s lack of visibility raises concerns about leadership.
The structured training is comprehensive and well-organized, making it easy to obtain the required refinery certifications. However, if you’re not white or don’t conform to the day dispatchers’ and driver manager’s preferences, you’ll face significant disadvantages.
I hauled fuel and returned home every night. Promised a pay raise after 90 days but never received it. Despite requesting a shift change, I remained on nights. That’s why I’m seeking new opportunities—I earned more per hour hauling concrete and am considering returning to that.
Extremely disorganized with no coordination between departments. Trucks and trailers receive no maintenance. The company doesn’t support its employees. I couldn’t even complete orientation—it’s that bad. Seek a more reputable employer.
The worst job I’ve ever had. Management is incompetent and favors certain employees, leading to disrespectful treatment of others. Management ignores complaints, leaving employees to resolve issues themselves, with little resolution. I filed complaints with the Labor Board due to these problems. It’s a toxic and unhealthy work environment.
A decent company. Workdays involve loading at the terminal, which can be easy or challenging depending on the location. Management generally stays out of the way unless there’s an issue. Most employees are friendly, though there are occasional exceptions. Accuracy is crucial, but the best part is being able to drive.
Management is excellent, and employees seem to enjoy working here. I left due to medical reasons. There’s plenty of overtime available for those who want it, and management accommodates individual needs.
I delivered oil and fuel to various customers. I appreciated my manager and coworkers, though the job involved long days and significant overtime.
