Aslan Express Inc. Got short pay $1150 that's 25% from the rate we are agree to haul the load for, we booked this laod as solo driver this company got paid as a team, but paid us as solo, and they want us to drive 2150 miles with in 2 days, not gonna happen, there was storm at 10 am CT in TX we had to stop and we did inform the broker about bad storm, and delivery got pushed to next day and broker said shut down production, witch was not truth when we delivered on next day they just put the product outiste and told the driver no rush on this, and broker shortpaid us telling us that they got short paid, going after the BOL and gonna have to get my payment from the shipper, because they didn't previde the proof that they got short paid from their costumer
Jum0 in front of other trucks at ip maysville ky. Dont feel like they need to park and check in like sign says to
As many people before wrote in these reviews, they are not answering on phone calls and do not pay detention! Shipper loaded our driver with the wrong product, driver had to went back for rework. One of the brokers, Joe McElravy, written confirmed that will pay for detention and rework. When the freight was delivered, Joe McElravy started acting like the first time hear about that. Non of 3 brokers on that shipment don’t take phone calls (or if they picked it up, put you on hold) or communicate with emails, and Joe is acting like he is not familiar what happened and what he promised to compensate. They responding only while they need you to deliver the freight, promising everything until the load is finished. After delivery they are so rude, unprofessional and unreachable! Who read this – avoid this company ONLINE TRANSPORT SYSTEM MC-386156!
They need to teach their drivers that pedestrians have the right of way. I stopped to tell your driver in truck 22101 Trailer # VP22093 he almost ran over me while I was walking. He was making a delivery in Fortville at Holloway House and was very rude and didn't even care. This happened at 12:10 pm 5-1-24. I would appreciate someone discussing this with him since he informed me he didn't know anyone in the safety department.
*Worst pay in the industry for the same routes as other companies (Ryder, Vascor etc.) and poor management* .5/10 They only pay $100 a day instead of normal pay for training for 4 weeks so you have to live off eating ramen noodles, Worst PTO I've ever seen at only $100 a day not full pay like normal jobs, lowest pay in the industry for Toyota routes, 10+ hours for minimum pay, bid sheets are always messed up or miscalculated by someone who got their position after being a failed driver, poor terminal management also by people who are uneducated and came in with no prior experience of the industry, uneducated dispatchers, nasty trucks that have bare minimum maintenance/redneck repairs just to squeeze by DOT, no room to grow or get more money than bare minimum $1050 as 90% of bids are $1050, they view experienced drivers and newbies that hit trailers all the same so it does no good to work hard, after doing the math you're only getting $19-21 an hour if you work 10+ hours which you mostly do which is ridiculous for a professional driving job in it being a class A driver job that we the driver are held way more responsible than anyone at the company. They've botched me and many others pay roll every week, it gets old having to fight for the money you've earned, as long as you've got proof of what you've earned the labor board is the best route to take them and I'm taking them that route. Bottom line: you're better off working at buc-ee's gas station and making the same money wearing a buccee Beaver costume.....don't fall for the smoke and mirrors like I did
Working with Jeremy has been a pleasure. Took us a bit to get rolling, but the regular options and loads are excellent. Communication is great, professional team, and always takes care of us. 10/10 would buy again!
dont waste your time on this company they do miscommitment they call you thay tell different story and you go for orientation then its totally different then they dont take your phone call and they dont give you money as well so please dont waste your time
I have been working with Online Transport on a daily basis and they are great to work with. They always pay on time and I've never had any issues with them. Working with their dispatcher Jeremy is the best! I have worked with him for a few years and he is one of the hardest working guys I know! I highly recommend this company.
Great Company! Never had issues with on time payment. Loads were smooth and no issues. I worked with Alan and he is awesome! Great communication and just a good guy overall! I will work with Online Transport in the future!
Terrible Experience with these guys
Wasted my 5 days being on orientation. They terminated me for not perfectly doing the 45° backing. Demanded for my training pay but they told me that they spent and paid enough for the training materials which I'm willing to return. Trainer sucks a TOTAL PERFECTIONIST. The manager stopped replying and responding. They are just good when they want you. The recruiter never divulged everything what's expected during the orientation. They gave only $65 for bus ticket which is not enough to cover the cost going back to Lexington KY from Indianapolis. They even get the rental car key during day 1. The dormitory where they house the trainees are very cold and dusty. Trucks are very old and rusty. NEVER apply to this company, they never CARE!!!!! Think million times before committing to them.
This company doesn't pay what they agree to and will not pay any detention. We tried many times calling and emailing them with no response. They are not honest and not professional. We booked a load with them and our truck got delayed by receiver for 4 days waiting to unload . They didn't reply to any emails or calls for 6 days and when they replied they said they wouldn't pay for detention. So we lost 4 days revenue sitting at receiver waiting to get unloaded and was not paid for detention..
Worst experiance ever, was working with Jacob Jensen, he even doenst want to answer my emails and calls...I never saw that kind of attitude to the business and the company where you work.
Be careful here. Wouldn’t recommend veteran drivers to waste time and apply, rookie drivers better options don’t settle. Not a good fit for me.
this trucking company is not worth it the trust are old if you get pulled over by a DOT officer and get fined the company will blame everything on u
No consistency In work. Sometimes sit In Docks for hours waiting to be loaded and not compensated. Drivers are pigs and don’t clean up after themselves. So if your truck breaks down and your put in something else expect it to be disgusting. Dispatchers are impossible to get ahold of. Always claim to be in meetings lol.
Unorganized, you’ll spend hours looking for your trailer. Low on drivers due to high turnover, you’ll be thrown on routes you didn’t bid on. Newbies are taken advantage of, you’ll get talked into taking additional routes or you will just get additional routes thrown on you. Oh and good luck getting paid for them. Poor communication, those routes they throw on you will be a surprise when you walk in to get your paperwork. You would think safety would come first but no the freight does. Pay is on the low side. The work itself is actually enjoyable when all goes as expected and it’s simple. This place could be one of the greatest places to work if only it was better managed and they would actually care for their drivers.
Absolute trash equipment and trash management to boot. Dispatch doesn't answer the phone or txt back, loads are rejected all the time because there is no communication. This place is the worst of the worst!!!
Average work day is about 11 hours. You get a flat rate pay that doesn't go up unless you go over 1250 miles or get an extra route added to your day, and even then it's not by much. Mandatory holidays only pay 100 for the day. Benefits are horrible, I wouldn't even call them benefits, it is the cheapest health insurance that you can have for a company and still be able to call it health insurance. 2 times a year Toyota shuts down for a week. They will find their veteran drivers some work, but for the rest of the drivers it is expected you either take your vacation time during that period. or just miss a week of work and have to pay back the company for the cost of benefits for that week. Trailers are bad, if you need any repairs it's on your own time no matter how long it takes, You will not be paid extra for it. If you get held over with a customer taking too long you're expected to sit and wait, sometimes hours, while getting no additional money for time lost. Also your hours are NOT respected at this company. You have to argue with dispatch to get them to understand you don't have the hours to do the run they have made for you. And running you out of hours is not unusual.
Work was good Pay used to be good Dispatcher is good Hours 10 to 12 average 14h sometimes But company changed how drivers get paid with no notice about 30% less money.
Online offer good pay for home daily for a certain account. Only thing it is physical work and dealing with weather sometimes to need to be outside for an hour unloading yout truck.
Been driving 35 years and my average time with a company is almost 8 years, but I was with Online for only about 2 months when I left. Terrible company to drive for and their recruiter completely lied to me. Buyer beware!
Great job with no touch freight and home daily drop and hooks. I enjoy the consistency and the management for their caring spirit and programs for drivers to earn extra. Equipment is being upgraded and the customer makes the daily work less stressful as you know your route. The new trucks are arriving and thats nice.
This is a good place for new drivers to start. The turnover is high, maybe because the pay is a bit light. If a driver is going to stay definitely negotiate higher pay once a year is up. There are many old heads there because they have negotiated higher pay. Seniority can come quickly, and bids are based on seniority. The home daily w/no touch freight is a plus. The gravel yard needs upkeep - like more gravel and no potholes!!!! Give it a try!
Disorganized no communication, pay is terrible overworked under paid. Think twice before working here. Equipment breaks down every other day. Gravel yards with gigantic potholes. Looks like a run down junk yard in Indianapolis yard.
It’s a decent place to work after you have been there for a while since the work bids are based on seniority. I was there for over a year and still the only good routes left were nights.
The equipment is in awful shape and instead of getting new trucks for their drivers, they keep buying out other companies. They will put you in a run down truck with 500,000+ miles and good luck getting your truck worked on. My truck was dangerous to drive and they wouldn't fix it or put me in another truck. So I quit and found a better company. The pay is decent but pay doesn't matter when you're sitting at the shop with a broke down truck. When you pull up to their terminals, it literally looks like a junk yard.
I might as well have been OTR. 13 plus hours multiple days in a row the first week on my own. This also made it hard because I have a family and I only got 5 hours of sleep on those days. The training program in Indy was good and I learned a lot but when I changed to the terminal in Jeffersonville closer to where I live things changed and the terminal might as well be a shed. I had to leave because there was no way for this to be sustainable. Also when I applied the application said $250/day for week days and $275 for weekends but I got told it was $225 and $250. Anyway $225 for 13 hours a day is crazy but I didn't even get full pay anyway. They don't keep up with maintenance on the already fairly not so good trucks.
I was extremely happy with my job and the pay and benefits. They were flexible in letting me set my own schedule as long as the job got done. If I hadn't got sick I would still be there. Hopefully they'll hire me back if I heal.
Older equipment, poor route management, and mileage pay for OTR and Regional drivers is less than the national average. Owner operator's do not get paid or reimbursed for tolls, this comes out of your pocket. Also for owner operators OTR drivers you only get 68% of the load when you do the math on the loads they give you its not worth your time.. The people are nice but I feel like sometimes you are just a number hauling numbers down the road to the next location.
