Online Transport makes it look like a walk in the park. Their efficiency and attention to detail streamline our operations and minimize disruptions
Aslan Express Inc. Got short pay $1150 that's 25% from the rate we are agree to haul the load for, we booked this laod as solo driver this company got paid as a team, but paid us as solo, and they want us to drive 2150 miles with in 2 days, not gonna happen, there was storm at 10 am CT in TX we had to stop and we did inform the broker about bad storm, and delivery got pushed to next day and broker said shut down production, witch was not truth when we delivered on next day they just put the product outiste and told the driver no rush on this, and broker shortpaid us telling us that they got short paid, going after the BOL and gonna have to get my payment from the shipper, because they didn't previde the proof that they got short paid from their costumer
Jum0 in front of other trucks at ip maysville ky. Dont feel like they need to park and check in like sign says to
As many people before wrote in these reviews, they are not answering on phone calls and do not pay detention! Shipper loaded our driver with the wrong product, driver had to went back for rework. One of the brokers, Joe McElravy, written confirmed that will pay for detention and rework. When the freight was delivered, Joe McElravy started acting like the first time hear about that. Non of 3 brokers on that shipment don’t take phone calls (or if they picked it up, put you on hold) or communicate with emails, and Joe is acting like he is not familiar what happened and what he promised to compensate. They responding only while they need you to deliver the freight, promising everything until the load is finished. After delivery they are so rude, unprofessional and unreachable! Who read this – avoid this company ONLINE TRANSPORT SYSTEM MC-386156!
They need to teach their drivers that pedestrians have the right of way. I stopped to tell your driver in truck 22101 Trailer # VP22093 he almost ran over me while I was walking. He was making a delivery in Fortville at Holloway House and was very rude and didn't even care. This happened at 12:10 pm 5-1-24. I would appreciate someone discussing this with him since he informed me he didn't know anyone in the safety department.
*Worst pay in the industry for the same routes as other companies (Ryder, Vascor etc.) and poor management* .5/10 They only pay $100 a day instead of normal pay for training for 4 weeks so you have to live off eating ramen noodles, Worst PTO I've ever seen at only $100 a day not full pay like normal jobs, lowest pay in the industry for Toyota routes, 10+ hours for minimum pay, bid sheets are always messed up or miscalculated by someone who got their position after being a failed driver, poor terminal management also by people who are uneducated and came in with no prior experience of the industry, uneducated dispatchers, nasty trucks that have bare minimum maintenance/redneck repairs just to squeeze by DOT, no room to grow or get more money than bare minimum $1050 as 90% of bids are $1050, they view experienced drivers and newbies that hit trailers all the same so it does no good to work hard, after doing the math you're only getting $19-21 an hour if you work 10+ hours which you mostly do which is ridiculous for a professional driving job in it being a class A driver job that we the driver are held way more responsible than anyone at the company. They've botched me and many others pay roll every week, it gets old having to fight for the money you've earned, as long as you've got proof of what you've earned the labor board is the best route to take them and I'm taking them that route. Bottom line: you're better off working at buc-ee's gas station and making the same money wearing a buccee Beaver costume.....don't fall for the smoke and mirrors like I did
Working with Jeremy has been a pleasure. Took us a bit to get rolling, but the regular options and loads are excellent. Communication is great, professional team, and always takes care of us. 10/10 would buy again!
dont waste your time on this company they do miscommitment they call you thay tell different story and you go for orientation then its totally different then they dont take your phone call and they dont give you money as well so please dont waste your time
I have been working with Online Transport on a daily basis and they are great to work with. They always pay on time and I've never had any issues with them. Working with their dispatcher Jeremy is the best! I have worked with him for a few years and he is one of the hardest working guys I know! I highly recommend this company.
Great Company! Never had issues with on time payment. Loads were smooth and no issues. I worked with Alan and he is awesome! Great communication and just a good guy overall! I will work with Online Transport in the future!
Terrible Experience with these guys
Wasted my 5 days being on orientation. They terminated me for not perfectly doing the 45° backing. Demanded for my training pay but they told me that they spent and paid enough for the training materials which I'm willing to return. Trainer sucks a TOTAL PERFECTIONIST. The manager stopped replying and responding. They are just good when they want you. The recruiter never divulged everything what's expected during the orientation. They gave only $65 for bus ticket which is not enough to cover the cost going back to Lexington KY from Indianapolis. They even get the rental car key during day 1. The dormitory where they house the trainees are very cold and dusty. Trucks are very old and rusty. NEVER apply to this company, they never CARE!!!!! Think million times before committing to them.
This company doesn't pay what they agree to and will not pay any detention. We tried many times calling and emailing them with no response. They are not honest and not professional. We booked a load with them and our truck got delayed by receiver for 4 days waiting to unload . They didn't reply to any emails or calls for 6 days and when they replied they said they wouldn't pay for detention. So we lost 4 days revenue sitting at receiver waiting to get unloaded and was not paid for detention..
Worst experiance ever, was working with Jacob Jensen, he even doenst want to answer my emails and calls...I never saw that kind of attitude to the business and the company where you work.
Be careful here. Wouldn’t recommend veteran drivers to waste time and apply, rookie drivers better options don’t settle. Not a good fit for me.
The company operates outdated trucks, and if a DOT officer issues a fine, the blame falls entirely on the driver.
Work is inconsistent, with long waits at docks for loading without compensation. Trucks are often left filthy by previous drivers, making replacements unpleasant. Dispatchers are difficult to reach, frequently claiming to be in meetings.
The company is disorganized, with drivers spending excessive time searching for trailers. High turnover leads to unexpected route assignments. New drivers are pressured into extra routes, often unpaid. Communication is poor, and safety takes a backseat to freight. While the work itself can be enjoyable, better management and driver support would make a significant difference.
Equipment and management are subpar. Dispatch is unresponsive, leading to frequent load rejections due to poor communication. This company ranks among the worst.
Drivers work an average of 11 hours per day for a flat rate that only increases slightly beyond 1,250 miles or with additional routes. Mandatory holiday pay is minimal, and benefits are inadequate. Toyota shuts down twice a year, leaving non-veteran drivers without work or forcing them to use vacation time. Repairs are done on personal time without compensation, and delays at customers result in unpaid waiting. Dispatch frequently assigns routes beyond available hours, forcing drivers into unsafe situations.
The job was once rewarding, but pay was cut by 30% without notice. Dispatch is reliable, but long hours—sometimes up to 14—make the pay reduction frustrating.
The company offers good pay for home-daily positions, but the work is physically demanding, requiring outdoor unloading in various weather conditions.
Despite 35 years of driving experience, I left after only two months due to misleading recruitment practices. Proceed with caution.
A great job with no-touch freight and daily home time. Management is supportive, offering programs for drivers to earn extra. Equipment is being upgraded, and predictable routes make work less stressful.
A solid starting point for new drivers, though high turnover may be due to lower pay. Negotiating a raise after a year is advisable. Seniority accumulates quickly, influencing bid assignments. The gravel yard needs maintenance—fewer potholes and more gravel would help.
The company is disorganized, with poor communication and low pay. Equipment frequently breaks down, and the Indianapolis yard resembles a junkyard.
Seniority-based work bids make the job more manageable over time, but night shifts are often the only good routes available.
Instead of investing in new trucks, the company acquires other businesses. Drivers are assigned rundown trucks with excessive mileage, and repairs are difficult to secure. Pay is decent, but downtime due to breakdowns makes earnings unreliable. Terminals resemble junkyards.
The job felt like an over-the-road (OTR) position due to excessive hours—13+ per day for multiple days in a row. This made balancing family life difficult, with only five hours of sleep on workdays. Training in Indianapolis was beneficial, but conditions at the Jeffersonville terminal were poor. Pay discrepancies and neglected truck maintenance led me to leave.
I was highly satisfied with my job, pay, and benefits. The company allowed flexible scheduling as long as tasks were completed. If I hadn’t fallen ill, I would still be there. I hope to return once I recover.
Older equipment, inefficient route management, and below-average mileage pay for OTR and regional drivers. Owner-operators must cover toll costs and receive only 68% of the load rate, making profitability difficult. While the people are friendly, drivers often feel like just another number.
