I believe my daddy worked for Opie's for 25 or so years. He never complained about them. They do look out for their drivers. I would recommend them to anyone with a family cause they truly care about you and your family. He's been retired for a few years now but still wears his Opie's hat! Yes, my daddy is Dale.

Opies is a great family oriented company if you ever need to get home to your family don't hesitate to call dispatch they will help get you home fast because they know family is all of our number one priority. Opies will make you feel like your family as well they keep all of there equipment in top shape so if any problem does come up for any reason let them know and it'll be fixed immediately. Also you'll get to know everyone that works their pretty well if you wanna put a fridge in your truck let the mechanic's know they will help with that as well as they'll install your CB , dish or anything else you want or need. Plus they have much more so give them a call I've been here for 4 years this coming July and they are the best company I've worked for.

This is the worst company my husband has ever worked for. He got hurt on the job mid April and has yet to receive a dime, they have even refused to pay the vacation pay he earned. They are not paying the worker's comp he is due and they quit making the insurance premium since he can't work so we have no insurance, and I'm a diabetic, he is still under doctor's care from having the back surgery that was an emergency to keep him from being paralyzed for life and no insurance, no workers comp., and no money. The company refused to file the workers comp case, they refuse to talk to him or move forward in anyway. We are about to lose everything we have worked so hard for just because he worked for a bunch of dishonest, immoral, crooks who pretend to care about their employees.Carla Hankla

I bought a truck formerly owned by this company. They must keep them up nice because I’ve had it 1.5 years with no issues.

This is the best company I’ve worked for. It has been life changing for me personally. Dispatch is easy going and always available. They know me by my first name and not my driver number. They accommodate your needs no matter the circumstances. If you’re across the country and have a family emergency, they will get you home without question. Top of the line trucks/equipment as well as top of the line people. Any of our drivers that are ever negative still work here for a reason. This is one of the few places that actually cares about you and DOES NOT lie to you. I highly recommend!
Came in about a job and with no referral or experience in the industry I was given a tour of the entire facility while being educated on what each department does. Hands down the cleanest truck/ transport hub I've ever seen.... LITERALLY.

Always busy. Great people to work with. They genuinely care about each driver and their families. They keep you moving and pay a fair wage for the work done. Safety is a top priority for them.
The company culture is great; fleet managers treat you well and address you by name. They maintain the equipment excellently, servicing trucks as soon as they arrive in the yard. The only downside is that the pay could be higher for the fleet size, and there's no vision or dental benefits.
