Started as the over-the-road extension of Jerry Ottery Milk Trucking in 1990. The firm comprised three tractors that transported railroad tank containers from the rail yards in Chicago to juice plants in the Midwest. Throughout the 90s, Herb and Pat expanded the company by offering over-the-road tanker service. The company grew to 27 power units until they merged with Jerry Ottery Milk Trucking in April of 2005

Got a Hopper washed out here. A+ Service. Great people. Highly recommend
Ottery Trucking is an amazingly clean environment with employees who value their work. They're truly respected and I am proud to be in the same community with such an honorable company.
Used the Tank wash Services, Was treated with respect and serviced expediently.
Be very, very careful driving near their drivers. One of the drivers ran me off the road, did not stop and then when I called the company they didn't want to take responsibility for it at all and I'm sure the driver still works there.
Excellent place to drive for. Great family atmosphere!
Don't go here for a trailer wash they said they not wash trailers there👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Call before you go or you will sit half your day before someone will get to you lol
Work. Trucking business. One of the greatest
Fantastic place to work. The Ottery Brothers are incredible people and awesome people.
Best place to work for fun family oriented and they treat all the employees with respect that they deserve hands down !!!
Not a good place to work they go through they ain't very fair you get local work for over the road pay
We get our tanks washed here allot! They work really hard to keep up with us bringing in tanks, nice people that work in the tank wash department and the facility is new and clean
Thank you for employing great people!! I had the luck to meet one of them. My truck needed a jump start just now in Zion, IL and lucky me your guy came to ask me if I needed help before he was about to pull off. He stayed until we got my truck started and I was back on the road. Thanks again, God Bless!
I started working for Ottery Bro’s in October of 2018. They gave me an opportunity to drive for them and sent me to Fox Valley to refresh my driving skills. Thank you for spending time and money on me. Pat Ottery is a good employer and was patient with teaching me to be a successful driver. Kelley S was a good dispatcher and was also a big help in my success. Herb Ottery was also instrumental in my success with their company. If I was asked to drive for them again, I’d definitely say, yes absolutely. Thank all of you again!!!.
Really good place. All the workers are nice and quick place to load.
Former driver here.... let's just be clear... this place pays their drivers .36-.39cents a mile, no bonuses (fuel, safety ect ect) and everything they told you at the beginning of employment is a lie, Just to get you in the door and drive. Your late to every scheduled appointment because of poor communication and as the driver you take the brunt of the complaints and they blame the driver when the customer calls. Companies like this are what kills the trucking industry.
Best pneumatic trailer and liquid tanker washout in 150 mile radius. The washout guys take good care on cleaning out the inside of the trailer.
Great place to work. Owners are on site, still drive, a true open door policy company
And I quote "us letting you come home to see your family is a privilege, not a right" ~ dispatch
They have a nice drivers /lunch room with a big screen tv n lots of channels
Very nice place to work, nice equipment. Big company but great family owned company.
Great place to work. Awesome people.
Is it okay jobs at manager lie to me... paid very well.. there's plenty of work you never set idle long. Safety director was an excellent advocate for drivers
What is the best part of working at the company? Everyone is very helpful. They treat you great. Pays good. They'll work with you if you need time off. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? I didn't have any stress other than waiting to get into dairy. That's normal though What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Great environment everyone is eking to help with questions and other things if you need the help. They help you the best they can What is a typical day like for you at the company? Do what you have to do and the day is easy
Great equipment and if there is a problem the owners and mechanics do everything in their power to correct it. Management willing to work with you. Owners are on site and have an ACTUAL open door policy.
Family owned company with the 3rd generation starting to take increased role in the company. They treat their drivers with dignity and respect, great working environment. Do everything possible to get you home for requested time off or for emergencies. Consistent freight lanes with friendly customers on both ends. Set up drop and hook whenever possible. Owners have their CDL and aren't afraid to use them when needed. Equipment recieves regular maintenance and is in good condition.
I really enjoyed working for Ottery. I had some of my own personal issues as to why I left. They are a family owned company and treat their employees as family. If I could, I would have definitely stayed working for them.
Over-all a great company. Everyone is helpful and understanding. Most employees have a good sense of humor and enjoy everything that is thrown at them. It is a tough business that is always changing.
a typical day at work consists of checking out truck and also checking out a trailer to make shure that they are going to be road ready and then going to pick up a load and then going to deliver it
Drivers are treated well for the most part. Management can be fair but it's really hit or miss. Do your job and don't question anything or anybody and you'll do fine here.
