Was a good company to work for until I got hurt at work. Then I was basically thrown out with the bath water. When I was finally cleared to return to work the nobody had the balls to return my phone calls. The owner didn't have the balls to tell me himself or have someone from HR tell I no longer worked for them. I'd avoid this company at all cost. Not worth the hassle

Pacific is a great company. They really truly care about their drivers. Lots of miles so be ready to run hard. I know many companies lie, but you will get 3-4k miles a week dedicated.

My experience working at PACIFIC SHIPPING ok training no training. Had a pamphlet to go by..the pamphlet didn't cover everything, ppl rude when you don't do it right. But when you are not trained how are you to know. Also if you are used to an OTR driving job and use to being paid weekly it is an adjustment to get paid every 2 weeks which can be done. The times when you wait 3 weeks is a killer though.

I can trust your experience was at Pacific was bad. The owner seems to be unstable and extremely inconsiderate. One driver quit his job to work for us and someone there didn’t like who he voted for and literally fired him. Their trucks look clean and new, superficially; However, nothing is nothing is fixed or maintained Drivers tell me that their vehicle are unsafe. Nothing gets done. The recruiter is very nice initially but nothing she says is true. . The pay varies vastly. Not bad for me, meager for others. Count your miles. They cheat you. The owner is erratic and volatile. Caution. Be careful. He explodes. When you leave there, there’s a good chance they will tell some terrible stories about you so no one will want to hire you. It’s true that before I started I asked many drivers if they were happy with Pacific and they all said yes ….family members. In about 18 mo 10 drivers were hospitalized or the accident was serious enough to be towed. Check out DOT safety. That’s 10% of total vehicles towed. There is no job security. If you make the wrong person angry, it’s your last day. The weather can be quite severely cold here and you don’t want your stuff thrown out in the snow and cold. The turnover is high but they can keep you here.

I wish I messed up, they really do take care of their drivers . They make sure you have all of the credentials to do the work. Treat you like family as soon as you walk in.
