Great shop!
I work there awesome group
Drivers,Service department, staff, management and owners are amazing great place to work for
Today (1-19-24) in-between Beaver Dam and Fox Lake on HWY A around 10:30 am . I had a maroon peterbilt with a black brush guard hauling a dry tanker tailgating me for over 10 minutes not even a half car length in-between. I had my infant son with me, I was already going above the posted speed limit, and the roads were slushy, slick in spots and bumpy from the packed down drifted snow. In a no passing zone coming into the city limits of Fox Lake the driver passes me, before caking the side of my vehicle and blinding my windshield with slush I saw on the door of the semi it said "Schimt Trucking" not even 45 seconds later was the city of Fox Lake and a stop sign for the intersection of A, 33, and 68. Your driver has no regard for public safety and could have caused an accident or even killed someone by tailgating, slinging slush over a windshield and passing in a no passing zone. It's drivers like that and companies like this who allow it are the reason for gps and dash cam monitoring. I'm sure if this truck was equipted with that the driver would've thought twice, before tailgating or passing in a no passing zone. Sit down with your drivers and make them aware of safety. There's no other responses to the poor driving reviews so I doubt I'll see one but if I do I'm sure there's going to be a reply of " there's no record of our trucks in that area" or " safety is our biggest concern" but in reality nothing is going to be done about this foolish careless driver and so be it when he causes an accident or unfortunately a death it'll be on the company..
They willing to work with and for you during difficult times. I left the company for several years and fell on hard times. They were understanding and hired me back with *almost* no questions asked.
There is plenty of work. With that said you will be working 13-14 hours a day. Little time to sleep and eat that off again verry early in the morning. If your truck needers work there very good at getting it done. The owner is fair with the drivers and the benefits are suitable.
What is the best part of working at the company? Family business, good, fair people What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Urban industrial customers with limited access for trucks What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Friendly and efficient, upbeat What is a typical day like for you at the company? Drive pneumatic tanker to loading site, load and weigh, drive to customer and deliver bulk product, sand, flour, concrete powder, etc. 1 to 3 loads per day.
Worked there almost 20 years. Couldn't find a better company to drive for.
Well I just started driving truck and I always had talked to the drivers when they would come in at my old place I worked at. So when the opportunity came to get my CDL I applied their and everyone from the owners to office personnel the other drivers and the mechanics are all very nice and very helpful. Could not ask for another great company to work for in my work history.
Great facilities and amazing people.
Friendly Family Business
Wonderful people great company. Recovertaxcredits.com helps firms like there's keep more of their hard earned money. Pleasure to meet them.
was literally just cut off by license plate 341887 (178) in West Bend. Driver was a man probably late 40's with a beard and glasses it looked like. Seems like a reoccurring situation to me. They could really hurt someone.
Nice people I was and my
Had many opportunities to talk with and follow some of their drivers. They are always courteous, polite and safety conscious.
I agree with the other review. I was just cutoff twice and watched this fool swerving in and out of traffic way too fast and very dangerous driving. Looks like a pattern to me.
Some of their drivers very disrespectful of of vehicles on the road.
