With the selling prices of fuel and repair goin' up, it's a big deal to find a company that's willin' to work with you to get the best deal.
Their drivers are the most experienced
What is important is that they are not just some big corporation
The company's dedication to killer daily customer service totally shines through in their hiring game
This is absolutely the best place to purchase bulk salt. If you are a snow removal contractor, you should be buying here. They keep their salt in rail cars, and load you on the scale. If you ask for 12 tons, that is what you get. I wish they offered extended hours during snow removal periods, but they kinda expect you to plan ahead. Most of their business is in delivering the salt to their customers, and that requires scheduling ahead of time. I have found their drivers to be pretty skilled at getting the delivery done in some pretty tight quarters, too.
Drivers have no regard for other drivers on the road and texting while driving was almost ran over by one of their trucks changing lanes who was tailgating the car ahead of them and I was beside the trailer and had to stop in 435 to avoid being hit. Tried to contact the business and was hung up on when I asked for the driver supervisor.
Great people and company!!!
Fantastic family company to be associated with!
Well I told them on 9 9 16 that my last day would be 9 21 16. And they told me to not come back.
Great work environment! The people here are wonderful.
Truck was flying up by 35 with graveling rocks flying off of his trailer chipping up everybody's windshield to look out people
Driver in truck 3517 on July 6th, cutting off several cars dangerously on Highway 70 .
It's a dump truck business. Not a place the public wants to visit.
Professional company with nice trucks
Your company should advise drivers that a red light on 210 shortly before the love gas station means stop . This has happened to me several times!!!
They are a reliable and trusted company. They have been around for several generations and continue to provide amazing consistent service.
I bought several transfer dumps from Jim Pavlich 20 years ago. Still running the same trucks here in Phoenix. Stand up guy and I noted he ran a class operation. One of the trucks had a slight bend on the bumper. I casually mentioned it. When it arrived in Phoenix, it had a new bumper. Not many people would do that nor did he have to. I bought a used truck. Plus he said, “ if you have any issues, let me know”, If I had to drive for anyone, he would be it. Without a doubt.
They work you late , an dont pay enough for the hrs they work you , they pay byweekley to make it look like u got a good check , never no for sure what day you will get paid on , to many bad attitudes in the whole company , there drivers for the most part are not friendly ,
They are nice people but even for a local driver they still keep you past 5pm and out till like 8 to midnight sometimes I left them for that reason
A fairy good strong family oriented business. A business as been in service for many years.
Worked for this company and feel they didn't pay as much as they should. All of our supervisors have $50,000 pick up trucks but they only want to share a small piece of the pie with the drivers
The world couldn't have a group of better owners. They are so caring and loving. The mount of grace they give is by far undeserving . I'm very grateful and thankful having them apart of my life.
The best and worst aspect of this company is that it’s family-owned. They are accommodating with time-off requests if scheduled in advance and easy to work with regarding planned absences. However, calling in sick or taking an unscheduled day off often comes with a guilt trip. The workload is demanding, but it doesn’t significantly impact your paycheck. Earnings fluctuate weekly, and the base salary listed is an annual average. Early on, and especially in winter, you may struggle to make $600 a week despite working consistently. If your time matters more than money, just keep your head down and push through. The company offers excellent insurance and benefits, and all tractors are less than three years old.
It’s a small company with a friendly staff. They maintain their equipment well, let you do your job without interference, and don’t bother you about wages.
Not the best workplace—no paid holidays, no sick time, and low wages. They don’t provide a breakdown of earnings for each pay period, only showing total pay and taxes. This makes it difficult to determine if you’re being shortchanged. If you request an itemized pay statement, they won’t provide one.
Overworked, underappreciated, and underpaid. Life is too short to spend it working for a company that doesn’t value its employees. When issues arise, they aren’t taken seriously. Their system for tracking loads and time is questionable, and paychecks often come up short.
The trucks are great, and the work environment is generally positive, though fast-paced. They are fair about time off as long as it’s not a frequent occurrence. They provide as much work as you can handle, as long as you have available hours on your logbook. The ELD system is unreliable and frequently down, though that’s not entirely their fault—perhaps switching providers would help. Pay is average for a driver, but at least they are upfront about it during hiring.
The job is advertised as paying 25%, but no one discloses what each load actually pays. Long-term employees have warned that those who repeatedly ask about pay don’t tend to stay employed for long. They also claim to be a “family-oriented” company, but if they assign you work on a Saturday and inform you only on Friday afternoon, refusing due to an important family matter will likely result in termination.
