C.E. Pottle & Son was founded in 1962 by Clifton “Cliff” Pottle. After becoming incorporated in 1972, our company has grown into a nationally recognized carrier. President and CEO, Barry Pottle, purchased Pottle’s from his father in 1988. Since that time he has grown the company to 190+ trucks and 750+ trailers. Barry, who was a truck driver himself alongside his dad, believed in recruiting while maintaining the best drivers in the industry. Pottle’s now has third generation family members, Matt England and Chelsea Pottle Demmons, in key leadership positions as well. Barry served as Chairman of the American Trucking Associations (ATA) in 2018-2019.

This is the best place I've worked in my life. My superiors treated me with so much respect and so far kept it 100% percent!!.. There's no other place I rather be. Thanks Pottle's Transportation for opening your doors to me especially when I needed the most !!!.. like I've been saying, with pottle's I will continue trucking, Moving forward.
They need to screen/train their drivers better. This guy was tailgating me on the nj turnpike in a semi truck with trailer. All i could see in the rearview was his bumper. Then passing on left where trucks not allowed. There were cars in front of me, couldnt go any faster. Their driver was very unsafe, following too close and a wreck waiting to happen. Truck #3284.
Owner Operator Pottles is a good company but it's always a bad apple in the bunch. Watch out for the one dispatcher he lies about you not taking loads and make things up to get rid of you.
Nice people very busy!
I work here so far so good Orientation day 1 complete
Hire professional drivers please.
Awsome
They can't even drop a trailer straight
My favorite trucking company!
Nice people good place
Great!
Excellent place to work very kind family-owned business
great company because my father is getting a great deal on buying his truck
I have been an employee over 12 years and they have always treated me like family.
All around a pretty good company, pay is fair for the job, on the road for 5 days home for 2 newer equipment maintained fairly well, they try to get safety like bonuses out there and show there appreciation for the drivers
anything can angry the dispatch and if you get on his bad side thats it mind as well quit, because that means you’ll get the bad loads and won’t be making any money
I have been with Pottle's for a little over five years, and have worked at three other trucking companies during my 21+ years of being a professional driver, and by far Pottle's is the best. All the people here understand that no job is more important than the next. The whole "We're all in this together" attitude makes for an awesome work environment. They always make sure your home when you want/need to be. They always make time to listen to your concerns. If you have a problem with the equipment they are right on top of it to get it resolved.
The owner and people are great they will train you there trucks are good they mostly do water loads and paper in Maine . You really have to want to make money but you have no family time it’s definitely a hard job the older you get but I recommend anybody to start heat if your are new
Pottles is the perfect place for drivers looking for an OTR JOB. They won't leave you hanging. They will keep you moving, and with so many dedicated runs, they will get you home most of the time. If not, they will make it up to you one way or another!
Great place to work! (The only reason I am writing this is your requirement to do so. I do not give my opinion upon demand from anyone! Do with this what you will.)
What I learn with Pottle's was that they show you work independently. They are not the kind of company who always asking for what you did wrong. The let you develop your duties independently. You are responsible yes, but you are free in to make your decisions daily
the people there , treat you like family and they look out for you and offer incentives to help you out . nice trucks and willing to work with you on fright loads
Good company solid foundation management is excellent and willing to work with you on any issues home weekends promises they make they keep in my experience
Was a great family run bussiness now more like other driving jobs. Wasn't getting the miles when regional went loacal and was working 60 + hours aweek
Pottles is a good company to work for as an employee more difficult as an owner op coworkers were good people hard part making money enjoyable part when the lease was done
