We specialize in long haul and haul refrigerated products with 53ft reefer trailers. Although RG only runs reefer units, we also do haul dry loads. Our trucks run to parts of the South East and South West, and the midwest.

The owner was knowledgeable and explained things well to me diagnosed my problem quickly and did a patch fix cuz my company is cheap. It held for the next two weeks tell I got back to my yard
Truck 109 I was going through Decatur Texas just about hit my trailer and ran a car off the road just because he wanted to get in the left lane and do 70 in a 55 this guy is out of control.
They know how to keep you busy. Good loads and lots of miles.
I have been here for 8 months RG gave me a chance with no experience. They paid for my training and because of that I am loyal to them and because I do my job and go above and beyond they are loyal to me. Not a lot of companies like this one. But if you need home time let them know and you'll get it.

I just started with RG Transportation and the people I've met here so far have been really friendly and helpful chris,rex,and narko are very straightforward and so far I've meet about 6 driver's who actually came up to me and welcomed me. It's actually very nice how everyone is about respect.
I was lied to by these people about getting home time and I had driven 3 trucks in a short period of time, and every trip with them I had to end up at the shop again and swapping truck every trip. Then due to the time I had to waste with the deadheading to the shop, home and back to IF. Then because I had to quit due to them not keeping their word, and because I quit when I did they held $400 out of my check for staying closer My home and family, I value my family more than I do any company and I don't appreciate being lied to just to fill a seat for their monetary purposes, I told them this and I was told that they just want money and my family life isn't their i
Very profesional people, they are on top of everything, they will call with your next load the day before and get you ready for your return trip home. They do runs to Texas and back mostly so you get home for your reset every week. I have been treated great by these guys, would highly recommend.
The service department and the mechanics are top notch.
Been working here a short while and I can't say enough good things about the quality of company, the great people, drivers and in the office. Here you feel like a big family and the working atmosphere is fun. If anyone can give a bad review, then they are dishonest about that review. I have never been in a better place. I joined RG Transport 5-1-2012 and I can honestly say that it's the best driving job I've had in my 24 years or driving. RG has great equipment, competitive pay and awesome office personnel that treat u with respect. The Red Gold employees at all of their facilities are nice and friendly. It's definitely the best move that I've made in my driving career. It's a great place to work and I would recommend RGT to any driver that is interested.
Stay away far far away... Bunch of lying dumbasses who think they know transportation... Offer the lowest wages around and surely feel proud of it... Lie to you and say your getting one rate of pay then wait till you get there and say " oh but throw in the bonus at the end of the quarter, and it comes out higher" a bonus you won't get!!! Little company with little mind set... They need to be educated on proper work etiquette... The dime a dozen driver theory is long gone... But good companies are around the corner.. And these guys are not one!!
My husband drives and trains for this company and they treat their drivers well. Must have a good driveing record to be hired though.
Good crew, plenty of freight to keep rolling set your pace and decent pay.
It is a good place to work. Only if you do as they say when it comes to the trucks. They don't care what you think its there way or the highway. I work till something better came along but would rather of told them to shove it.
Great company pay every Friday I had an awesome dispatcher generally you are home ever weekends. There equipment is top notch did not like some of the broker loads.
Decent job, management needs more work. All in all not a bad place Losts of hours for sure Very lenient on having days off as well as shorter days if needed

The people are friendly but they don’t have the runs like they say they do and getting the repaired is not reliable and the trucks have no power to pull loads up a hill and they are the slowest trucks out on the road which they are a hazard What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Been at this Trucking thing for over 40 years, have seen several companies come and go, This Company has got the Right attitude towards drivers, and Office staff, They treat you with Dignity and respect, Have Top notch Equipment, Open door Policy to upper Management, steady Work, not Pushy, Very Safety Oriented, Pay very well, great bunch of Folks
Worked at RG Transportation for a year. Nice equipment pay was every Friday as long as you done your job they never bother you nice dispatchers bonuses every month really is a great company I quit account of Covid
Best Dispather ever you get home every week end. Pay is ok good weeks and bad. No touch freight did not like back hauls mostly broker loads nice equipment paid holidays they do their best to accommodate you
This is by far the best trucking company to work for. Good pay and benefits. Dispatches are very good and know what they are doing. We get direct deposit pay and lots of ether good benefits.

I did everything. Hiring, training. prospecting, account servicing. billing, bookkeeping, and collections. I really love being my own boss but due to a couple or issues out of my control I am unable to continue running the company.
Great place to work they treat you like family. I loved working for them but the pay was not enough to justify being away from home 5 days when I could make more doing local. The trucks are nice and very well maintained. Everyone knows your name. The runs are great the back hauls sometimes aren't. Again the pay is just not there but everything else is great!

Just another big company that will tell you lies just to get you in a truck! One I got had issues and no heat in January so froze my butt off the nights I stayed out! Would not reccomend them that's for sure!
