Really care about their drivers. Highly recommend!
Love them
miles are good, and the company's always looking out for its drivers
Health insurance's not too shabby
As a solo driver, I was a bit skeptical about joining a smaller fleet
Great place to work and great people who go the extra mile for customers and employees alike
My experience with this company they need better equipment the trucks suck .I have to say the staff was good we left the company do bad equipment.
Great people to work for my husband said
Me and my codriver came over to RRR Transportation about 3 months ago maybe a little more. Since we have been with this company every one at the the office has been extremely nice and we feel respected working for RRR. They are a great company that offer great pay and great equipment plus good benifits The recruiter Linda is so very nice and even gives us occasional little gifts like shirts other small gifts which is nice to know a company cares for the drivers. If you are looking to find a company that is great to drive for I would HIGHLY recommend RRR Transportation I have never felt more welcome at a company than I do now. :-)
What is the best part of working at the company? The trucks and maintenance staff are excellent. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Communication is poor, and there’s no detention pay regardless of how long you're detained. The insurance cost is extremely high at $276.00 for a driver with one dependent. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It can feel two-faced... while it seems laid back, you need to be careful who you talk to. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Driving to the destination with minimal or no contact with dispatch.
Freight is steady, and the income is consistent. Bonuses are offered. While work can occasionally slow down, a regional driver is on track to earn $70k annually. It’s neither the highest nor the lowest pay. The company is very considerate to drivers who move freight, but punctuality and experience are non-negotiable.
This job has resulted in financial struggles due to frequent equipment breakdowns, coupled with the company’s refusal or attempts to avoid compensating for mechanical downtime. After over a year, it’s clear that this is not sustainable, and it’s time for a change.
It’s like most other trucking companies. They may promise to care about you and treat you like family, but in reality, you’re just another load of freight to them. Pay is reasonable, and the equipment is good, but otherwise, it’s the same as other companies in the industry.
If you don’t physically turn in your trip pack to the home terminal by Monday, you won’t get paid. If you take more than 34 hours off, you’ll miss out on pay the following week.
What is the best part of working at the company? The company looks out for its drivers. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Deliveries to food distribution centers like Kroger or Publix—drivers aren’t treated with respect. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Respectful and friendly interactions among employees. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Every day brings something different for each driver.
The company shows appreciation for its drivers, but the health insurance is extremely expensive. The pay is average—what you’d expect from a small fleet. Larger companies may offer better benefits and higher pay, but they lack home time and respect. It’s about deciding your priorities. You’re not required to drive in ice or snow, but not driving means missing out on earnings.
Many assignments involve short runs with live loads and unloads, significantly reducing mileage by hundreds of miles. A 4-day Denver run can take 7 days due to delays with live loads and freight monitoring during appointment times. The average live load/unload time is 5-8 hours, with no pay for that time. This setup might work better for team drivers, as single drivers face too many delays.
The company provides good service, a clean work environment, and fun activities. You can learn a lot while also having personal time. The pay is reasonable, and the experience is enjoyable overall.
What is the best part of working at the company? The miles are consistent. Like any company, it has ups and downs, but it’s a good place with good people. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Better communication would help immensely. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It’s what you’d expect in the trucking industry. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Driving 600 miles—it’s a typical day for a truck driver.
After 34 years of driving, I was ready to retire due to the state of the industry, but RRR stands out as an exception. My experience has been very positive so far. The office staff are down-to-earth and treat you like family.
This company has a highly professional maintenance program. The main downside is that as a growing company, they face internal challenges. However, such issues are common for small to medium companies and should improve over time.
Turnarounds could be done in 6-7 days. Management, being family-owned and focused on the bottom line, had its quirks. Co-workers and other personnel were excellent, and I enjoyed working alongside them. The hardest part was having only 1 to 1.5 days at home each week, which wasn’t enough to enjoy the time off. The most enjoyable aspect was interacting with the great people in the company.
I’ve been driving for RRR for over a year now and I love it. They have great equipment, pay, and home time. The dispatchers are friendly and helpful. They treat me like family.
RRR is a decent company to work for if you are a team driver. They have good routes and plenty of miles. The benefits are not great, but the pay is fair. The trucks are new and well maintained.
RRR is one of the best companies I’ve ever worked for. They have a lot of respect for their drivers and show their appreciation. The health insurance is expensive, but the pay is good. They don’t force you to drive in bad weather and they have nice trucks.
RRR is the best company I’ve ever driven for.
They have a lot of freight and they keep me busy. The dispatchers are professional and courteous..
pay on time and without any hassle.
pay is competitive.
