Arrived on time for pickup & was told I had to check-in by calling a phone number. Told to stage nearby but nowhere really to stage. Congested area since this warehouse is located close to the ports. Checking in was a bit challenging. Either they don’t answer or u get a busy signal. Gotta keep calling back to back to back to try & check in. Loading docks are tight & not really enough room to back in. Once loaded, gotta fill paperwork & sign numerous documents. Must present your D/L to check out. Loading times are pretty fast but warehouse location is horrible.
Showed up at 9 appointment time was 10 sat there till 2 before they started loading then I couldn't take the load bc missed my drop time bc of them then I got yelled at an cursed out by multiple different ppl an got called a liar by the manager/ person that claim to be family of owners. Will never be back worse company in America to haul out of!!!!

They put me to turn around and come back when i have a door# ◦ Accesibility (room to maneuver into dock): Tight size (they park empty trailers in front of the docks) ◦ Facility (bathroom) No ◦ Facility (vending machine): No ◦ Facility (lounge): No ◦ Staff: cold ◦ Good to go: 2:00PM ◦ Wharehouse Description : Clock killer 🙏 GOD BLESS AMERICA 🙏
This is to all the Brokers and dispatchers out there If you have sent the driver here without minimum experience of 25 years on the road then everything that went wrong at the pickup or delivery is your fault !!! Learn reading reviews of facilities!!!
If you’re delivering avoid this place at all cost! There is a reason their ratings are very low. Rough roads and potholes streets entering their facility. Rude security guard!! Terrible terrible 👎🏼👎🏼 …
Worst shipper ever. Takes all day to load and lie about drivers not checking in. Had a guy check in sit all day only to be told he never checked in. Stay away
It's really packed and hard to know who's next in line to get loaded. Be courteous and respectful and you can get a can or two of red bull in shipping office. Try to park outside before entering the gate and walk on foot to guard shack for instructions
Very tight and very difficult to maneuver but quick in and out. Call ahead before arrival to get the door number as the security guard will ask for the door number then let you in . Women inside are sweet and friendly!
It's dirty Jersey. It's what you can expect. Tight turns, roads, restrictions, ect. So, with that being said this place is no different. But when it comes to unloading, I was in 2 hours before my appointment and unloaded in a little over an hour! That's worth 5 stars in my book!
They treat you like a person, not an employee. That's reflected in the benefits and how management approaches employees, no yelling and screaming about challenges, just collaboration and ideas. The office environment is very calm and comfortable to work in . It is a very challenging company due to the pace and ingenuity around every corner, which is awesome and helps you grow. If you apply yourself, you'll go somewhere. Yes, this is the company you want to come work for . Come join the Elite fleet !
Came here to pick up a loaded trailer. First I was told that my pickup number was wrong. Took me over an hour back and forth with my dispatch to confirm it was not so the people at the check in both gave me the wrong info. Then it took me 30 min to find a spot to drop my empty trailer since this yard is narrow and therefore a massive mess. Then 30 more min to find my loaded trailer BLOCKED by a bunch of other trailers. Had to beg the yard dogs to move all the other trailers. 2 hours later and I'm almost out of hours. Trailer still buried. What a joke!
I’m going to be honest i respect salson, but I felt unwelcomed and thank goodness I did not want to work at salson no thank you. Dwayne is a nasty person and probably the recruiting office is too. You guys need to be better.
Hello truckers, maybe this can help you, I was reading the reviews of this place and I was actually a little scared before I got here, but on the contrary, they gave me a door immediately and in 40 minutes it was empty so maybe I was lucky , but the staff was very kind to me, I will come back!!!
I worked for this place but I can’t say anything wrong about it !! People at the office (recruitment department) they are so nice Thanks to let me been part of this place
Long hr little pay good work environment.nice people.working on a project is all ways hard .management was never in the lopethe trucks were all way breaking down
Not worth an experience driver to go there Poor attitudes . Low pay. Derogatory language to employees. Poor equipment maintenance. Not worth applying or interviewing
Best people to work with for company driving. I just wanted to own my own equipment, that's the real reason I left. Not the best equipment, but not bad.
I enjoyed the job working there on and off for 7 years. There very picky now with cellphone use while driving but other than that great hometime during the week and weekends. Fair compensation
It's detailed, high volume but a fun and light atmosphere to work in. Benefits are great for the family, and pay is great . Only the elite shall thrive here!
they only worry about one thing and that’s that you make sure you get the job done and they don’t care about they drivers nor do they care about they trucks
Always keep me running, home every night, great pay, well maintained equipment, always someone available and willing to help me when needed. Wait time in port is ridiculous at time. Makes for a long day.
Just get check pay your bills nothing good about this place if’s you need day off or come in after you taking care your business they will work with you
Management is very poor. Pay is bad. This company is not worth the garbage they put you through trust me. The pay is lousy. Your HOS means nothing to them. Just do yourself a favor and save the headache unless your desperate.
This place sucks they have cameras inside the truck and they watch and harrass the drivers The trucks break down alot u can barely make it through a whole week without a breakdown
If you don't want to go to certain places They are forced dispatch. Also hard to get equipment fixed. No incentives for drivers. No bonuses. Easy work on dedicated runs.
while working there for 18 months we had 3 terminal managers and each time more work disappeared . by the 3rd one there was no work left. So each time we lost more contracts lost
The problem it’s not equipment, pallet job broken etc etc
You don't feel like the company values you as an employee. The pay is good, but the benefits are awful with no employer matching. If you sign up for benefits, they are extremely expensive and the employers don't contribute a dime.
The pay is below average. If haven't worked there long enough, you won't get the better loads. Lie and say it's slow. Dispatcher is rude and it has prison environment vibes
Only bad trucks bad yard , it s not easy to make mony , If you don t want go to the port dont go to salson because you no ganna make monny
