This is one of the worst companies I’ve ever worked for. Their lease purchase program is outrageously expensive, overcharging drivers $90,000 for a 2013-2015 truck. Drivers, stay away from this company—they’ll leave you in debt. Consider this your warning!
I leased onto Select 1 in 2020. Initially, everything seemed fine, but once COVID hit and layoffs began, I canceled my contract to avoid paying insurance. After that, I was never contacted again. The company now seems to be run by inexperienced staff. If I were you, I’d steer clear.
During the off-season, the work involves loading or unloading cars. On tour, tasks can range from setting up or tearing down large tents to running an obstacle course—or simply waiting around.
This is a fantastic company to work for. If you’re willing to put in the effort, there’s a lot of money to be made here.
