I know a driver there that doesn't get paid tarping pay,, however the brokers say they pay extra for tarping! Why don't the driver's get it for doing the work? I hear big momma has a spending problem hubby can't control! Watch out for working for the Serbians, the are shysters!

One of their drivers opened his window and threw something at me while in motion when he passed me after I had to slow down to allow some vehicles to safely merge onto the interstate near weatherford, tx. Prior to this happening he started to pass me and matched my speed to yell something at me, probably because I slowed down in front of him. Wished I could have gotten the truck details but he got too far ahead of me. Thankfully I self triggered my dash cam.

Hello, I just had a delivery from one of your drivers. I wanted to leave a positive review about him but did not see a section for it. His name is Israel and he was a pleasure to have. He actually came got things ready for us to unload quickly. He even helped me with giving directions for unloading the delivery where I could not see. We hope that he can return for our next delivery of hot tubs. Thank you.

As a broker you are at the mercy of the companies that run your loads for you. I had an issue with a driver yesterday from another company who wanted to say my load was oversized when it wasn't. So I met Ali at the shipper to make sure everything went well and it did. Ali communicated well with the customer and also made sure the load was where he needed it to be on his trailer. By far the service and punctuality SPX offers is well noted and a company I would highly recommend for someone looking to ship with. Thank you Sasha and Gus for letting me experience what your company offers in equipment and most importantly professional drivers! If you are in the area again I will definitely use your company!

These guys are awesome! I am trying to ship a big water pump 1000 miles, not only are they going to do it in 3 days but they are also going out and getting me proof that the equipment runs. This is also all happening the day after I called, no wait, very professional, and timely. 10/10 will use them again if needed.

Today is Thursday, January 25, 2024 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 6:50 in the morning. The maniac that this company hired to drive Rig Number 0217, hauling a flat-bed trailer number 0179 almost ran me off the road this very foggy morning in Wisconsin. I was traveling at 62 mph with very low visibility and traveling on the 2nd lane from the left. Anyone could pass me on my left or my right. This fool comes up, flashes his lights, blows his horn, swerves past me on the left and then swings back into my lane, leaving barely 5 feet. This kind of a fool and maniac should not be driving a big rig. I will be calling the company this morning.

If you want to work for this company, know that the owner or the owners son does not care for the drivers. The equipment will not get fixed in time. You will never have your 90 day review. The shop will blame for everything and will not fix the problem with the equipment. Other drivers wont care for the company. I wouldnt recommend working for this company. All negative reviews are correct about the this company...

Great company to work for. They take care of their drivers. Miles are good. Typically a load back east then work your way home. Usually about 12 days then whatever home time I want. Usually 5800 to 6500 miles in those 12 days. Equipment is new and well maintained. APUs, inverters, refridgerators. Their shop handles most issues while I'm taking home time. (Tires, alignment, PMs, repairs.) The dispatch team is incredible. All former drivers. In the 3 months I've worked here, I've only had 2 occaisions where I waited more than 2 hours for a load after telling them I'm empty.

I have been hesitant on writing a review for a place I work for, but they deserve it. I don't know how, or where, to start so hang in there. I'm speaking as a current Step/Deck Driver. If you are looking for a new place to work, let me fill you in about SPX the best I can. This is truly a family owned and operated company, the owner and his immediate family work here EVERY DAY. They all have an office, a desk, a phone...and they are constantly working as hard as everyone else to make this a smooth operation. Owner can be found talking to drivers on a DAILY basis to find out how they are doing. The first question and action is a fist bump or handshake and a "how's things going?" He knows what drivers want/need (I'll explain further down as far as equipment goes) his wife manages everything, and she is extremely easy to talk to and work with even in general conversations. The owners son can be found on a daily basis on the phone with drivers, brokers, clients and everything in between. And can you believe this next part...they all take lunch breaks as normal employees, they do not act like, or pretend to be, better than or different than any of the employees in dispatch or safety. It's actually a team in there. (Makes my life so freakin easy). The safety department is always there to guide drivers in cases of DOT regulations, Logs, securement information and laws you may need to know if going into certain states. I cannot and would never forget the reason I love working here, dispatch. Man, I am gonna get teased about this later but dispatch for my flatbed/S.Deck work is undeniably the best I've ever experienced. The communication is 100%, the loads are with customers that are easy to work with and the freight is just plain, the best. My life wouldn't be what it is without all of that as a unit, I love staying out, I rarely come home and when I do, I'm always ready to go out whenever they need. (Sometimes hahahaha) however, NONE of that stuff above would be possible without Jose and the service department, I know you aren't going to believe me when I say this next part because typical service departments in this industry are careless about drivers and the equipment, however, the service department here is hands down the best. Can't say it better. I have never broken down, my PM's are always done here in phx at the yard. When they know you have to go back out for a load, you typically get put in the shop and taken care of immediately (just from my experience from what I've seen, I'm not promising you anything) the yard manager keeps this parking lot, SPOTLESS, he has every single peice of equipment/tools organized so when you need something he can be quick about getting it for you and not sending you to go play hide and seek. Anyhow, I just want every driver who may be looking, come check it out for yourself. ALL practically brand new trucks, EVERY TRUCK has a big ol bumper guard, EVERY Flatbed tractor gets a headache rack, stocked with chains and binders. EVERY trailer has everything you need to do your job. There is no "after hours call number" here. Straight personal/work cell phones and that is a life saver that I've never experienced before here. I drive a 2024 that I got in with 40 miles from a brand new 2023 I got into last year, I live in luxury out here and even my home life is better because of how much I'm not stressed anymore due to my job. Anyhow, I will share some pictures to give you an idea of what I get to haul. We don't strictly do spas. I got a little carried away with pictures, but you get the idea. If you're not afraid to get a little dirty, you value your relationship with employer and respect the load... come work here. If you're a customer, have em send me, I'll do it :)

Apparently your company finds it acceptable to hire drivers who can't back up. And who decide that they can just park wherever the hell they want, especially if it's in front of people that paid for their spots. You guys are the problem with this industry and if you don't correct the behavior of your drivers. Quite frankly, you deserve to be out of business. Although it doesn't surprise me since you run white Volvos. "Way to be just shining beacons of professionalism." On top of it, maybe tell your female drivers that they should wear more than just a bra and a pair of shorts when they walk around a truck stop yet again wait to just give off really professional demeanor as a company. If I were the owner of this company, I would be incredibly ashamed by my drivers behavior.

Drivers... you don't need a job THIS badly. I have just left there after 4 Months as an O/O. They required me to purchase new equipment to use their trailer. They loaded the new equipment showed it to me, I signed for it, went home and got my tractor. When I returned, my trailer and $1100 worth of equipment is gone. They told me to use what was on the next wagon. I stressed the point of paying for NEW stuff. "Don't worry about it!" I'm told. I'm out the money, equipment and now they say I damaged a trailer, $500 worth. So far I'm out $1600 and they still have an escrow account of mine. We'll see what garbage they come up with to keep that. The 5 star ratings must be coming from "The Family". In all fairness, they do have their good points. But the bad far outweigh them. If your not a member of that Serb clan...

As a driver over a year & half. Co. was rather decent as my 1st exp. as an OTR driver, dispatch very nice & helpful. Loads, miles, & hometime were pretty satisfying? But aside from all, I paid into an escrow which I thought I had coming after my resignation? Waited patiently for payment & after months of no contact, I contacted SPX. To only find out I was being charged for tire damages (1/2 escrow $$)which I had very clear proof I was not at fault & was jus damage from roads. So if I’m a Co. driver & not an O/O why should I be held liable? So beware of this Co. & what you might want to get yourself into? Good luck!🤔
