Simon’s trucking is by far and above the best trucking company I’ve ever worked for. From dispatch to the shop they are all great people to work with. Love it
Yeah I work here about 11 years. Wasn't too bad just never got home if you got home for more than 2 days or even 24 hours sometimes they call you back to work. Even if you stayed out 6 to 8 weeks. Just recently asked him for a job back. The lady said well if you don't hear back from me the answer is no well it's been a couple weeks I guess the answer is no. Justin or RJ must still be holding The Grudge. Their equipment's good they keep a clean and well maintained I can say that but they'll run the hell out of you. Recently spoke with a person is working there you can't talk on your phone anymore even with hands-free headset unless you stop and go off duty. Cuz I got cameras watching you and they watch you according to what I've been hearing. I will say one thing when the old man was running it it was pretty good after his death things really changed. It's too bad he knew how to take care of the drivers. They blocked me off of Facebook can't get on the Facebook site no more. You want to give up your life and run a lot of miles never go home or if you do you're just long there long enough to do laundry and come back this is the company
Went to tractor pull, it has gotten better than it was 5 years ago,it used to take forever to get through the pull, but they got a little more organized. It was a good time.
Good place to work. Simon’s treats you with the utmost respect. You are not a number here.
I have been with Simon's for a little over 2 years. The people there are friendly and are easy to work with.
The driver on I-205 by Oregon City, Oregon and headed south towards I-5 on 5/29. Was driving about 72 in a 55 zone but also pulled out In front me and would have hit my front bumper if I had not put the brakes on. He drove that speed for about 5 miles until the speed raised to 65?????!!!!!
I'm a passenger in a car leaving Indianapolis as I write this at 6:00 on a Monday evening. A Simon's Trucking truck is weaving all over the road crossing into the lanes on either side like the driver is distracted, sleeping, or otherwise impaired.
Driving home from a vacation in Baltimore and a this truck the words on the side said "leased to Simon trucking, llc" Came darting from the far right lane ALLL the way to the left cutting my husband off and causing him to slam On the breaks we get next to the truck and the guy is texting! That accident could have harmed my entire family 😡I was looking for a number to call.
These guys are amazing!!! Some of the nicest people you will ever meet. If you need anything done to your vehicle, these are the guys to trust!
Been here for almost a month and I had to say this is the best Trucking company I've ever worked for top notch equipment top notch trailers and my home time is excellent
Simon's Trucking is so much more different than other company I have worked for or even talked to. They are constantly doing everything in their power to make sure every employee is happy and satisfied with their job. They do not over promise and under deliver. They take care of their trucks, buildings, and grounds. They have proven that they are more than just a trucking company; they are associated with 300 Raceway (racing community) & the Agriculture community. They stand out by being a smaller business but they have the strength and stability like that of a larger business.
I’ve been driving truck for more than 12 years; local, regional, and OTR. Simon’s is the best truck company I’ve ever been associated with. It is a family atmosphere that respects and values its employees. I currently live in Dubuque, IA, less than 30 miles form Farley, where they are located. Dispatch involves the driver in Load/scheduling decisions. I leave my truck at the yard and it is washed and serviced when I return. I am home whenever I want to be, including every weekend (whole weekend not just a 34) unless I volunteer otherwise. I’m even home during the week occasionally. Unless I move out of the area or receive a local (home everyday) job offer too good to turn down, I don’t see myself ever driving for another company.
Very clean and orderly facilities. Great equipment great people! Nice place!
Great place to work! Great people to drive for and fantastic equipment!
You will not find a place that is even close. The feeling of being appreciated and treated like family. Is what we all are looking for. I’m disappointed in my self for leavening. If your looking for the positive feeling of waking up in the morning. Know perfectly well the night before u have to work all day. You will be happy doing it hear.
I've been with Simon's Trucking for over 7 years. It doesn't get any better than this company nothing's 100% but overall your equipment's great most of the time you get pretty decent miles. As a few things that could be improved. Overall pretty good place to work. I have been driving over the road since 1985 these people got it together
An amazing company and family to work for, they truly treat you like you're their own. Great dispatchers and safety department and support when needed. Top notch equipment for drivers and awesome benefits!
Great people great company great equipment
Top notch people to work for and to work with. Top of the line equipment. And top of the line pay if you're willing to work for it. If you have a problem the people at Simon's will do what ever they can to help you take care of it.
Don't bother applying The owner does not like pro drivers who have a proven safety record and you will be lied to on your dispatch p/u and delivery times. This company does not communicate over the people net system either so nothing is on record Very unprofessional company
Doug Jordan sure is nice for being such a overly flamboyant man. Would give 6 stars if Tracy still worked here…………….
Low pay and they don’t hire out my area I mean 18yrs experience and u say .60cpm nah I’m good
I love working for Simon’s Trucking very nice dispatchers , the equipment is awesome the owners are great people not just a number at Simon’s you are family terrific place to work!!!!.
Very clean and orderly facilities. Great equipment great people! Nice place!
Number 1 company , No b.s. here . Top of the line equipment, knowledgeable staff , family environment . Drivers this is the company you've been looking for ... Infinite stars A+ ++±+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++.
Great people help me out in a pinch
This company takes care of its equipment. In cab navigation means if you get off route we will call you and ask why the extra miles? They're on the same Lanes all the time. When you go out, you will be coming right back to Farley. They have weigh my truck app so no parking at the fuel Island to go in and get your scale ticket they have a Elite pass. I do like their safety department there's a young lady working in there she's really sweet. She'll give you every opportunity in the world. My problem with dispatch is they don't pay attention to your clock but they sure do know where you're at all the time. They do know the rules of personal conveyance too. If you don't make it on time you won't PC it to the destination. Hours of service violations are not tolerated and they shouldn't be. It was a really good place to work I was just burned out. They detail their equipment twice a year they have a huge wash bay a huge shop a huge paint booth a nice driver's Lounge. If you ask for time off they might call you in the middle of it and see if you can take a load. Overall it was a nice place to work.
There, you are treated as family and given the flexibility you need. Great people to work for and understanding. Only reason I left was because my wife did not want me gone all week anymore.
The Simon's are GREAT people to work for. They have a very family orientated company. I can't express enough on how great the Simon's are to work for. And it continues on through operations, safety and recruiting department, payroll and benefits, and the entire shop crew. It's all ran top notch. Oh and they have some of the nicest equipment on the road. The overall facilities ( shop office washbay) are top of the line. And they definitely recognize the people on the team that are willing to put forth a little extra.
I've been here for at least 20 yrs. Was here for 5 yrs then left. Big mistake. Was gone for a year. Went through 5 different jobs. Then they asked me to come back. Been here ever since. These people are not coworkers they are family. They have helped me grow personally and financially. I can't imagine working anywhere else. If you really want a great place to work where you feel like you belong. COME WORK WITH US. you'll thank me later.
Overall very pleased with this company. It is refreshing to work for a transparent company. Right away they will review your expectations and compare them to what they can do and let you know if they are a good fit or not. 9 times out of 10 they can make anyone's expectations work!
Simon's is a family friendly kind of place as long as the wheels are turning and run the way they want you to run which is very hard. Can't stop for anything and they don't want to fix anything on the truck either.
Steady home time. Always had freight. You're treated like a person and not like a number. Great equipment. One of the best places I have ever worked. Great compensation and benefits package.
Aside from some misinformation and bad dispatch wasn’t a bad company as far as upper management goes, however fleet managers were not great at all and put drivers over thier log books through firing tactics and placed them to 34 out in otherwise unsustainable conditions
