The company's commitment to family values really shines through
I've never had such great medical and dental coverage, and the life insurance is a huge plus
I've seen my skills improve dramatically. Thank you Sodrel
This place is very clean and good workers 👍
Absolutely amazing. Why wouldn't you ship with them??
Having taken more than one trip on their bus lines, they are clean, comfortable, updated with WI-FI, dish, all the admides. I would recommend this company and have.
One of your drivers is in Chicago Illinois truck45463 is recklessly driving on the road and yelling at me telling me she wished I died your truck drivers need to be more professional on the road as it is raining in Chicago and there is a lot of traffic
Nice new clean busses and friendly staff!
A great place to work.
Excellent company!
Good place to work
Not a good place to work at, the company has to many rules and the dispatch was very unorganized.
Sodrel truck lines is not only a great place to work but a great place to call home. I have worked here for about a year and a half now and I see myself staying here for a very long time. The staff and drivers here are great and more like family then co-workers. Come join the family and fill out an application.
Some of the best drivers I've worked with. The mechanic was a really great guy too. He's just retired after many years. They're going to miss him. By the way this company got a free gift of 2.7 million dollars in Covid funds from you the American tax payer.
Very unfair and judgemental. If your a comedian dont work there. They sensor their people. Very petty. Worst place I've ever worked for so far. I think they just wanted to get rid of me so they made up a reason because I did my job and was at work everyday. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
AWESOME GREAT PAY ABD THE POTENTIAL TO EARN WHILE YOU LEARN
Great company to work for. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Keep the trucks in good and I mean good working order. Pay is great. Medical insurance is awesome and over all pretty much the best company I have ever worked for. Glad glad that the hired me.
Great company with great safety orientation. Attention to details on trucks safety and documentation for loads to be ontime everytime within human capacity but training the best is essential and that's just what they're doing.
Best truck driving job ever had
Good place to drive for and great with their employees
Need service, here is your best place to get it.
Clean kept up good
Great place to work
Work there have for 20 years best independent trucking company in the state of Indiana or anywhere else for that matter great co-workers and management
This company feels stable, and I consistently receive a solid paycheck. I haven't encountered any issues—I do my work, and they let me handle it without interference.
I've never worked anywhere that made me feel this included as part of a team. Management is excellent, benefits are strong, and the work itself is enjoyable. There's a real understanding that family matters, and I feel respected rather than just another employee.
I worked here for nearly a year and a half but never received full compensation for all the time spent in the truck. They only pay for drive time, not the hours spent waiting at postal facilities.
The company appears to be struggling. Employees disappear suddenly, with nothing more than an email stating they are no longer employed. Leadership shows little interest in adopting new ideas or technologies, leaving the company behind the curve.
What’s the best part of working here? Fair wages, good benefits, monthly safety meetings, and easy access to information. What’s the most stressful aspect of the job? As a bus driver, bad weather was the biggest challenge. What’s the work environment like? It’s supportive, always open to discussion, and focused on finding solutions to improve care.
If you don’t like following strict FMCSA regulations, this job isn’t for you. The company expects full pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including a four-point brake check. Speeding is strictly prohibited—the policy requires driving at or below the posted speed limit, maintaining an 8–12 second following distance, and using three points of contact when entering or exiting the vehicle. Daily DVIRs are mandatory. Pay is competitive compared to other local carriers running daily routes. Equipment is meticulously maintained—if something needs fixing, it gets handled immediately. This company values precision: show up, follow the rules, and receive bi-weekly pay.
For the holiday season, the company surprised everyone by offering an extra $5 per hour for hours worked beyond 40. They foster a strong family atmosphere, and I’m grateful for it.
Management acts more like babysitters. Their excessive policies interfere with the job, and they are petty in their decisions. I would never work here again and cannot recommend it to anyone.
Being a small company means avoiding corporate bureaucracy, making for a laid-back atmosphere. However, it also means lower pay and fewer benefits compared to larger firms. The company is improving—paved parking, direct deposit, and above-average benefits—but there are drawbacks: no overtime pay after 40 hours, no pension, and dispatch manually calculates work hours. Trucks are decent, though not brand-new like those of larger competitors. A major perk: after a couple of months, you’ll be assigned a personal truck.
I started in September 2020 as a relief driver and have made good money here. The best part is being home every night, with steady work always available.
The team has a strong family dynamic. Drivers and mechanics collaborate well—there are occasional challenges, but we stick together and get things done.
At first, the job was chaotic. I filled in for drivers on leave or handled whatever was needed, which meant inconsistent, unpredictable hours. It was frustrating. But once I received a regular route, the stress disappeared. Now I know exactly what I’m doing every day, which is invaluable. I drive a 2000-model Mack, and the maintenance crew is phenomenal. She may be old, but she gets me home every day, and I wouldn’t trade her for anything. Office staff is also fantastic.
