Darrell Sorenson started our trip in 1970, out of Chehalis, Washington with one truck he was using to establish mutually lucrative contracts with many fresh seafood shippers. Today, Sorenson Transport delivers a broader range of freight with a much larger fleet and many of the same original customers. Sorenson Transport is currently family owned and maintained, and you can find Darrell having debates with his dispatch team any day of the week. Another aspect that has not transformed, at Sorenson, is our 100% commitment to customer service and on time delivery.

Shipped with them countless times
Honesty and ethics are values that shine through in every interaction with them. Amazing and kind people are working there.
Darrell Sorenson's still out there grindin' every day
Never have to worry about delays with these guys. They’re rock solid
There are good days and bad days
Great company with Great employees!
My husband worked for Sorenson Transport Company for 15 years. They always have newer, well maintained equipment and a responsive shop. The checks were ALWAYS GOOD! Meaning he was paid well and there was never a problem cashing them.
Scheduled pick and delivery service for refrigerated product
I'm a 24 year employee. This is a good employer. Haters are going to hate, life goes on. I've been treated fair and with respect here. This is not a slacker day care though. Step up to the challenge, and share in the camaraderie.
Watch out for #480A driver. Made a few sketchy moves while I was driving next to him. I saw him make a u-turn on the freeway 101 northbound. Cut off a guy. Came close to hit the poor small car
Driver of truck 564 thinks i5 is his personal race track, need to slow down driver no need to rush anywhere. Also need to understand if you heavy to the right lane instead of camping and causing traffic in middle lane. These nuances are what separates the real pro drivers from the wannabes
One of the most professional truck8ng companies in Washington. Thanks so much to your drivers (2 of them!) Who stopped and helped my 87 year old father pull his car out of the ditch! What kind decent people. I operate a cold storage facility in Idaho and when your drivers come in now I ALWAYS put them at front of line (I'm the boss, i can do that;) Thanks again!.
One of its truck drivers changed lanes without signaling and with five feet of our car. He did it so fast and unexpectedly that I had to slam on the brakes and swerve to the left shoulder to avoid the back of his truck from crushing the front of my car. After gaining our composure, we could see that he did that dangerous and reckless move only to pass the car in from of him. When I pulled next to him to photograph the truck, I noticed he was traveling about seventy miles per hour. I hope that the Sorenson management looks at this driver record and act accordingly.
One of your drivers merged into my lane without looking on the I-5. I was in the far right lane and had nowhere to go- had no choice but to drive off into the shoulder of the freeway.
Sorenson os by far the best transportation on the west coast either dry or frozen…
Great place to work for. Ive been working for Sorenson now 5 years and enjoy it. There always looking for good drivers.
They are just a really great company!!!
Very nice people, have overnight parking, thank you for unloading me on Sunday!!!
We share a yard, the folks are great too work with, they have a shop, truck wash, indoor restroom, clean property well kept.
Awesome staff outstanding safety records highly recommended
Again husband looking for work, signs, and ADVERTISEMENTS saying they are desperate for drivers.... They had signs pointing to the entrance, when he arrived at the entrance there was a sign that said 'Not to Enter'... Idea here.... 'Come Apply, but Don't Come in..
Sorenson has one of best fleets in the entire country.
They really are great there.
Wonderful people, great company
Excellent
The nicest family I have ever worked for. Fast reliable refrigeration service, nice new trucks.
I work here. It is the best company I have ever worked for.
People are great, money is great, equipment is good, but if you have a family this job is hard. You will always be asked to do extra every single week. They want to keep you out way too long. Moneys great, but when you look at how many hours you work it truly doesn’t add up.
They will push you yet the pay is good. If you want the money they have the runs. Management is very responsive and approachable. Dispatch isn’t always clear and knowledgeable about what being a truck driver entails yet overall a good company.
The owners are wonderful people. The staff is nice and happy. Wish there was more communication between drivers and dispatch. Wish dispatch would understand the concept of what local LTL actually means, other than that it was a great company to work for..
They would not pay for layovers, each and every time. I was always forced to take jobs I did not want. As a local driver, I still had to sleep in my truck as many as four times a week. It seamed that I was the driver that did the most drop and hooking in the yard, which is something drivers don't get payed for.
It was great in the beginning but they wanted me to drive on a closed highway. Highway was closed due to ice and wind. CHP closed the highway down. Dispatch said I have chains so go....
i like my driving job at Sorenson more than any previous ones. not all days or weeks are ideal but they try and make it the best they can for you and most of the time that works out. i don’t feel like just another truck number here and people make me feel like they care about my employment, my home life and my overall satisfaction. LTL trucking can suck but they do pay for not only each dock bump and miles but weight as well
