Carriers stay away from them. Every dishonest and rude people. Will lie to you about appointment times and then screw you over by not paying detention. Just stay away.
Good decent ppl to work for. Southland is making changes some good some not so good but all in all I'm happy to say I got at least 800 more miles this week than I ever did at Big G.not putting them down because they r a good company also. Adrian-Nick r good dispatch that will keep u rolling.
owner operators do not pull loads for this company I repeat do not pull loads for this company will have u sit all day and tell u they will pay detention. Scammers bad business.
I would highly discourage drivers from using this broker. I was owed detention and when came time to pay they gave way below market. These are the kind of brokers we should avoid at all cost. My advice is if you do pull for them and are at the receiver more than an hr, leave. Do not wait because they will not do right by you. I will be adding a CSA complaint for this company. Time to hold these brokers accountable!!! Then they lie in ther response to your review!
New driver! Orientation went well. Facilities are new. Trucks are well maintained.

overall a great place to work, just kind of misleading, trucks on web site is not what you get, husband left a job he had for 17 yrs to be home every night and weekends off with this company, but he was put in a 14 yr old truck with probably 2 mil plus miles and lives up to it's name he says is a Freightliner and is a rattle trap can hear every outside noise, said guess he would have to deal with it for a yr as that will be close to retirement time, if he makes it went from a 2017 Volvo 780 auto his boss got him brand new into a Freightliner hardly no room and can barely stand straight up in it.
