I was driving on 75 headed South near Lincoln Park, MI around 8:40 AM, this truck completely cut me off. If I didn’t slam on my breaks, he would’ve swerved right into my car. The driver was traveling so close to other cars & trucks on the road. The truck was also swerving back and forth in between the lanes. I can’t believe a person driving a semi would be driving this recklessly. It’s unacceptable and dangerous. The truck number was 531827, plate 500 0567.
Not possible to locate the exact location on GPS or Google map..needs urgent fixing.
They employ dangerous and rude truckers who will try and run you off the road. Then lay on their horn after they cut you off and try to hit you.
The driver from this company ran me off the road and kept trucking. I wouldn't do business with drivers like this.
Awesome people. Great staff, mechanic, and safety manager
Great company, & better people
Worked for them years ago... never had an issue.
Excellent service, good people to work with.
Your driver tried running me off the road.
I've been here for 6 years now. Best company, I've ever driven for. To say there are no problems, is ridiculous. Every company has problems, at times. That's just the business. Hundreds of different personalities have to be dealt with. Some drivers are difficult, at best. Once again. It's the business. This is a good company to drive for. As long as your willing to drive, and don't have to be home, every single weekend. Although, they will get you home, if that's the case. Just remember. This is a trucking company. And, some things are just beyond their control. Just be realistic in your expectations.
Inept and pathetic recruiting department. The lies are abundant! Stay away!
I worked for this company before and they are an outstanding trucking outfit, and the only trucking job I ever enjoyed. All you people claiming that you got ran off the road by this trucking company are confusing Stoughton Trailers with the small trucking company of the same name. Stoughton Trailers has sold thousands and thousands of trailers to many different trucking companies, and it’s really common to see a trailer with the name “STOUGHTON” printed on it in huge letters. Stoughton Trucking is a pretty small company that feeds the production plant with the materials necessary to produce the trailers. I assure you that no one from this company has ran you off the road. You just got ran off the road by random truck that was pulling a Stoughton brand trailer.
These guys went above and beyond to make sure a problem load that any other company would have easily given up on went the way it needed to and they stayed in contact throughout the fiasco, had to purchase new materials to run the load, had to stay an extra night, had to do more work than signed up for. These guys are legit!
Inept and pathetic recruiting department. The lies are abundant! Stay away!
Favoritism to production workers drivers drive outdated semis that can break at any moment takes sides of people who just started STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS
good company to work for decent rigs trailers are kinda rough but over all a good company to work for. respectable.
I left there because they used your CST score for pay and had a problem with this. My score was high because of the machanic mistake by not releasing the brake adjuster on a trailer after doing a brake job. Was DOT inspected and was shut down and fined. Then when pay raises were up was told I wasn't going to get one.
I have been with the company for 15 years. The company has prevailed through the bad times as well as the good. I have always received support from the people I work with and they treat me like family.
The pay is not great they need newer trucks .I was going up a hill with a load that was the average load and the truck could not make it up the hill.i was so ashamed.i put my head down.
Leave Wisconsin go back to Wisconsin never go out load deliver and then reload back to Wisconsin always the same if you quit they tell at you saying you did not give them a chance
Staff was like family to me. Family atmosphere. If I experience problem with a customer or equipment, I got a quick resolution. Pay was always on time.
Stoughton Trucking will work with you on workplace problems and provide viable solutions that actually will work. Nice people and equipment with resources and choices.
This was a very fun place to work. And the People are great they truly do care about they driver and only require that the driver try to make it to there destination on time.
Wish I'd found these guys 20 years ago.For the greater part, management is decent. Dispatch is outstanding. As long as you run your hours, and miles. There is no problem. Those who come to this company and say, I need to be in a truck stop and shut down, by dark. Probably won't have the best miles. If you're a real, professional driver, and do what's necessary, and legal. You'll do just fine. There are all kinds of bonuses. Essentially. If you work well for the company. They will bend over backwards, to work for you. All in all. A great company to drive for. As I said. Wish I'd found them 20 yrs ago.
great company to work for small enough to know you big enough to get stuff done they are a little company that is detail orinted and fun to work with.
The job was hard because I had to deal with crazy drivers on the road in the bigger cities. Most enjoyable part of job was traveling through the countryside and mountains.
Good company to work for but need to find a way to support their drivers while working with many of the new federal regulations and programs...Most companies are having this problem because they haven't figured out how to deal with some of these issues and regulations that result in loosing good drivers based on poor CSA guidelines for scoring driver safety.
learned a penny saved is a penny earned and got to see country in big rig brand new KW 600 that was cool
good job, decent weekly miles, not enough home time for me, able to take passengers with you
