I'm proud to be part of such a dedicated team
It's great to work for a company that not only focuses on business success but also cares about the planet
From GPS tracking to modern maintenance facilities, everything is designed to make our jobs easier and safer.
It's a whole different level of professionalism
The sense of teamwork at Sun Coast is incredible
ATTENTION RELADYNE !! Worked there for many years, a few things I will warn you about. Don’t believe anything they offer you, because once you’re in. Everything changes. Management does not care how you work, they only care about who’s brown nosing and kissing up. Report numerous concerns to HR, At the end of the day everything gets swept under the rug. even when you have proof of being discriminated and harassed at work by management. ELIJAH PARKER from the lube department, sitting at WILL CALL. as most know him as Wesleys puppet is one of the saddest human beings. He treats drivers and warehouse staff like garbage, Discriminates specially on Latinos, harasses drivers and warehouse workers. Pushes everyone to its breaking point. Gets away because he’s mommy works there. Again HR and upper management, DOES NOT CARE !!
Better than most companies! It's All About Perspective
One of the best companies to work for.
Best place to make some easy and fast money. Not a company to work for long term.
Easy to find. Just don't turn left into maintenance bay area not a lot of room to turn around. Go up the street until at first stop sign then turn right. Go across railroad tracks then turn into gate 2. Go around to the right where stop sign is. turn left at stop sign and check in at office at will call ramp. It is tight so setup really good when backing.
Fantastic employment opportunity. Good pay, great hours. George Edwards Jr is hands down the best boss I’ve ever worked for.
Really great job! Love the job and the people there. Really good benefits and good insurance. Don’t recommend this job to people that don’t want to work or are LAZY!
Best Job I've ever had. Good way to provide for your family. I love it here
There was plenty of work with hourly pay. I was hauling crude oil at the time, which came with a lot of confusion between dispatch and drivers. The competition was intense—both good and bad. Safety measures were strict, which I appreciated. It was my first experience hauling crude oil, and I learned a lot. The benefits were solid, with ample overtime, but when we lost the contract, I was laid off.
SCR is the type of company where the effort you put in determines what you get out of it. If you’re content staying in your comfort zone, it’s a stable job. However, if you go the extra mile and prove your reliability, management will notice and reward you.
What is the best part of working at the company? A great team of coworkers, and the company genuinely focuses on training and employee support. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? My schedule is terrible—10 AM to 10 PM, and I’m required to work every weekend. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Fantastic colleagues who take the time to teach and support each other. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Long hours, lots of driving, and moving from rig to rig for unloading.
If management doesn’t like you, they’ll invade your privacy and fire you over the smallest mistake. Communication with the office is difficult, but the schedules are decent.
There’s not much to say about Suncoast—it’s just like any other fuel transport job. Clock in, do the work, and if you land in the “favorites” group, you’re set for life.
This company provides a fantastic opportunity to learn and cross-train after a year in your role. Once management sees you’re committed and eager to grow, they go above and beyond to help. I started in the CNG division, which requires quick thinking and strong problem-solving skills—an area where skilled professionals are highly needed.
As a railroad driver, I appreciate the consistent pay and simple, low-stress work schedule—5 days on, 2 off, then 5 days on, 3 off. I’d recommend this role to anyone wanting to transition from long-haul driving to a local position.
No complaints! I’ve been with the company for five years and plan to stay as long as possible. Close to home, home every night, working five days and off for two. The pay is excellent, and the environment is laid-back.
Drivers start with high pay, and the company is one of the most organized I’ve worked for. Dispatch is all handled out of Houston, and the management is very hands-on with drivers’ workflows. They use driver-facing cameras to monitor everything. If you do your job thoroughly without issues, you won’t have problems. However, there’s little opportunity for career growth, and the fuel business can be repetitive. As for oil field work, it’s generally straightforward.
It’s a good company so far—mostly well-organized. Pay is reasonable, and the mechanics are quick to repair the trucks.
I work as an OTR driver, though my setup differs from traditional OTR roles at other companies. Since I have a day cab, SCR covers hotel stays nightly, even for two days during my 34-hour reset. The pay is solid, and the storm pay is even better—I earned $14K in two weeks working hurricane and tornado recovery runs. While communication within the company could be improved, I overlook it because the pay is exceptional. I’d rate the company 9/10, especially from a financial standpoint.
Mostly oilfield work, including drilling rigs and fracs. Dispatch frequently tries to push drivers beyond legal hours, but the pay is great. There are also opportunities to cross-train on bobtail trucks.
