Good company for owner operators! Honest and trustworthy!

So far so good. Been here a couple months. I run team, on the company side. Getting salary pay of 1800 a week each minus home time. Don't have to worry about miles, but even if we did, they keep you moving very well. If we sit it's because we want to or because of a delay at a shipper or receiver, not due to lack of freight. Anything we need, it's taken care of no questions asked. Best company I've worked for in 7 years of driving so far

I just sign one of my truck on, have a high school friend. Have 3 truck with this company, told me they fair and keep u busy. Bringing on my other truck next week with my driver.

Great company to work for and great pay. Been with the company for a month or so but I can tell that I'll be here for a long time. I've been driving trucks for 14 years and I think I just found the right company. I feel at home here and Johnny!!! , just the best. He went above and beyond just just so I could get the job and still does to keep me. He sees to it that I get home to my family every other week even if it means flying me home. Thanks Johnny. This company is very well established and organized. They always deposit money on time and I have never had an issue with them. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. I have been working with them for over a year and am happy to be part of the family!

I came to TaK Trucking in April. Im driving with there partner company Universal Transport Services. Both companies are under the Atlas SN umbrella. My experience so far has been above expectation and I will lay out the reasons why. The run you and at the end of the week grant you with the opportunity to do a 34 to catch up on laundry, shopping etc if applicable. Ive been running 2800-3200 miles a week with my best week at 3500 + or -. My dispatchers G and Z are exemplary and I love working with them. There is never an issue with communication and once they get to understand how you run, they stay on top of things. There was some hiccups at the start with alot of it just being new but its been fine. They run peoplenet elds and there equipment is in great shape. They run you home to get your things and get you home when you request it. Im not going to say its the best company so far cuz I would be premature saying that but if I was to go off on a time frame comparing,with other companies, there on top. Glad im here.

I am the spouse of a current employee EK. My husband has been in the trucking business since July 2013. We’ve worked with various companies and it was not until now (March 2019) that we may have found our trucking home. Johnny, the owner, is personalble, quick to respond, generous, caring, and treats us like we are family. In all our years we have NEVER received this type of treatment! My husband is paid a flat weekly ate as a company driver which, so far, has proven more economically fair than the per mile/per diem he is use to receiving. My profession is Human Resources with a major bank and I’ve thrown numerous questions at Johnny in order to get facts and to make sure this was the best opportunity for my husband and Johnny goes above and beyond to make sure I have all my questions answered, he even sincerely solicited feedback and suggestions! In my heart, I feel we are in the best hands ever and I have NO problem promoting Tak Trucking or talking about them whenever I run across a trucker in a convenient store or otherwise. Hello my name is Jonathan Houston I work for Universal transport service which is a partner of Tak Trucking and I just want to say my experience here has been wonderful I'm working with good people I'm getting plenty of loads making good money and I get wonderful home time. And my recruiters name was Johnny and he is a awesome guy he does his job quite well he has never let me down. I would have to say for my month-and-a-half that I've been here I know it's not very long. We have excellent equipment and plenty an lots of freight.

Tak Trucking offers the highest pay of any trucking company I've worked for. They maintain their trucks well, and I consistently get around 3,000 miles per week.

The equipment is outdated and cheaply maintained, and the staff is unprofessional and unhelpful. Everyone seems to be operating on their own agenda—working for individual trucks rather than the company as a whole. The corporation consists of four companies, and they often say one thing but do the opposite. Overall, very disorganized.

The atmosphere is amazing—relaxed, supportive, and understanding. They treat drivers with the respect they deserve and never give assignments that are too difficult. We always have ample time to complete our tasks properly. I team with my wife.

Tak was the best over-the-road trucking job I’ve ever had. I never encountered issues with my paycheck or securing a load, regardless of my location. My manager always ensured I received high-quality loads.

Earn great money, get home when needed, and enjoy the flexibility of bringing pets and riders. There’s no forced dispatch, and owner-operators are welcome. You can purchase a truck and lease it on with them. They have an in-house repair shop for both trucks and trailers, along with a trailer leasing program covering dry vans, tankers, and flatbeds. Pay is weekly via direct deposit.

As a subcontractor, I was responsible for delivering freight across the tri-state area daily. My job involved picking up and dropping off shipments throughout the region. The biggest challenge was coordinating pickup and drop-off schedules with businesses that closed during lunch hours. The most enjoyable aspect was managing all of my responsibilities efficiently and completing my routes seamlessly. I was always reliable, ensuring all stops were made without fail.

An outstanding company to work with! We received a call from Aldin regarding issues with one of their trucks. We always consult our clients and present repair options when servicing their fleets, and the process is much smoother when fleet managers are readily available. Aldin was approachable and highly accessible, always prioritizing both the business and the drivers. Even after hours, he remained engaged, ensuring the issue was resolved. You can always gauge how much a company values its drivers by the condition of its trucks—this one was well-maintained and equipped with an APU.
