PLEASE remind your drivers to read signs re: NO THRU TRUCKS on all residential Liberty Rd, between Williamson & Plantation in Roanoke, VA 6/13/24
I got stuck behind this Thomas E Keller trucker on I-70 East between Terre Haute and Indianapolis from 2:00pm to 3:00pm Eastern Time on 01/04/23. He was all over the road drifting from the shoulder across the dotted line as shown in the photos I posted here. He was either distracted or impaired. I was happy to see him exit at Monrovia, IN / Highway 39 and get off the highway before he caused a wreck and hurt someone. The "Best Fleet" sign on the back of his trailer is obviously a joke.
called them on the load they had posted and a rude guy answered said a couple words i didn't even understand and hang up on me with no reason, i called again and same thing happened the guy answered said something and hang up. Please don't post loads if you are not willing to talk.
I called 25 times, and no one called me back... when I did get the recruiter on the phone ,she was rude and acted like I was the dumb one for knowing that they had changed their policies but didn't change their website.
This driver hit and run a wester express truck in Syracuse NY pilot 08/16/23 at 16:19 we tried stop him and he speed up inside of truck stop and left driver knew what he did and left.
I entered into the highway into a construction zone yesterday evening in front of one of the Keller Trucking trucks. I slowed down to about 45-50 mph as it was a construction zone and the truck came up behind me fairly quickly eventually flashing his lights at me. I drove to the next exit which was about a mile away and began exiting off the ramp when the driver laid on the horn and ran my 5 year old daughter and myself completely off of the road. She sobbed the rest of the way home and was scared to get back into the vehicle this morning . I don't care how amazing this company may be, they need to reevaluate their drivers. Nothing is that important to put other's lives in danger.
Very family oriented and great with drivers. But pay is really low if hes not training and my husband can drive 700 a day. When you have a family of 6, 500 a week working 60 to 70 hrs isn't great. But overall great job.
Have been driving for them for almost 3 years and I'm very happy with them!
Honestly the pay inst great and miles arnt top notch but that is a down I'll take for the level of respect they show to their drivers I never have a problem getting ahold of anyone when I need something and that is a huge huge plus I'll take respect and honesty over pay any day I genuinely enjoy working here
Been with keller for almost 7 months and best family own company and love being with them
Best company to work for. Bar None. New equipment, miles you want, treat you with respect. Great pay. In my 25th year here. Love it
Best place to work family oriented and cares about their truck drivers
The largest Trucking Company in NW Ohio! Very well kept equipment, One of the cleanest facilities I have ever had the opportunity of visiting. Highly organized, extremely friendly staff that is goal oriented and safety conscious will speak with you like you were family even if they are in the middle of something.
I am a new employee of Keller Trucking. So far it has gone very well. The only snafu was they did not have a truck available for me to get into right away. Considering the current delays in the supply chain, I understand it. But, while I waited, I was paid a weekly guaranteed amount. That is a month of waiting and about $3,600 paid for it while they got me a truck. More companies need to adapt this model to get and retain good drivers. Now I have been assigned a truck (2020 Volvo) and will take my first load in the morning. Look for another review from me in 60 days.
Claim a family environment then discard you like a rag when you speak up on the wrongs. They are hemorrhaging freight right now and yet STILL hiring and taking from the mouths of drivers already there. Loads constantly not ready when scheduled and frequently stuck at shippers. Pay below industry standards by far and they micromanage you to death under threat of taking bonuses, etc.
Very friendly people I'm in orientation and the staff is very knowledgeable and explain Keller's policy and what to expect while working here can't wait to get on the road I understand why they get such great reviews
Great place to work They show their drivers a lot of respect for what we do
Very good company. Pay the drivers more abd you’ll keep them. Otherwise it’s a great company. Money isn’t everything but the trucking industry needs to adapt
The only thing is they pay just a touch less than average but in exchange you have the closest thing to a great company is you can get. Top of the line equipment guaranteed base pay, nice people and quickly growing.
AWEFUL place to work. Don't buy into the brain washed individuals that try to sell you this company, they get taken advantage of and then praised for it. Not flexible like they say they will be, new AI cameras that track your eye movements, garbage pto, expect to run your 70, anything with mileage pay is garbage pay here, expect to communicate by email. Stay away from lease op program, you'll be paying them to work your life away.
It’s was really a great company when I first started but then it went down hill really fast. The most important thing of a trucking company is freight…and they had none toward the end and was deadheading people over 600 miles.
Thus company is amazing its one of the few good truck companies out there they care about their employees and make sure you get home. I got home every weekend and I got the miles
Good people here. But the pay is not that great. Had high expectations in the beginning, but recently been very disappointing in my paychecks. Looking for something different.
What is the best part of working at the company? Newer equipment, excellent maintenance/shop staff, awesome management! What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Dispatch mainly. Sometimes have to wait on next load(s). Getting someone on the phone can be difficult as well. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Family oriented and open door policy (for the most part) What is a typical day like for you at the company? Driving 10-11 hours a day. No touch, equal amount of drop and hook and live load/unload
It’s a good starter company if your coming in and don’t have any experience. Also they don’t don’t run you to the ground give you some flexible time. Home on weekends. Average between 500-600 miles a day. Treated with respect. Family type atmosphere
Good people and trucks. Would be nice for us lease operators to set our own speed and hp. All in all a good place. They are flexible with your schedule most of the time.
If you want a laxed schedule you can do that too. They don't call to give you he'll unless you shut down extremely early for no reason. Pay I thought was meh at first but seems to be pretty good at second glance. Goes up after 3 months and incremental after that.
I really enjoyed my time as a driver with Keller. Excellent equipment, good miles, and lots of freedom as long as you do what you're supposed to do, and get the job done.
the money was good, hometime was regular, equipment was new/newer but was basic with the company cost in mind, not the comfort of the driver. the staff was very professional
