I have been here at the Mount Juliet Tennessee lot for about 8 months and as of now it’s a great place for me I was looking for a place to retire in about seven or eight years. I believe this might just be it if things don’t change places have a tendency to change and not always for the better but as of now great, please greet people.
Ive worked at Titus Transport for a little over a year now. I started out in the merits program. I had a great trainer "Randy". He made sure I was ready before throwing me out on the road solo. Also what I loved about the company is they started me out my first couple weeks solo with stores I felt comfortable with until I built up my confidence and skill. The dispatch ladies are great they work together and are friendly!! The ladies try to accommodate you with different stores and runs. I love Shaina and Heather. They are easy to come to for a laugh and a chat or if I have any issues I need to address. Im home every night and have a schedule that fits my life perfectly. Drivers just received a little pay raise so no complaints about the pay.
Worst place I've ever worked. Hostile work environment, and lack of training. It also seems that the rules apply for some but not others.
I have been working for Titus for about 4 years now. In the beginning of January I brought my own truck and Titus allowed me to be an owner operator for them. I have been a lease drive twice before for other companies. This company is by far the best. They work with you and go over and beyond for you. We have a great staff up in the Salem terminal. I just want to say thank you to the Titus family in Salem.
I've been having a great experience with this company. The management is excellent, and the environment is relaxed, but you need to be ready to put in the effort.
What is the best part of working at the company? This has been the worst company I’ve ever worked for. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Constantly worrying about paycheck errors and having no local support to resolve them. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? They show no concern for work/life balance. Employees are expendable, treated like they’re easily replaceable. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Working 8-12 hours delivering and unloading groceries.
There’s no fixed schedule; you must show up whenever First Fleet determines. The pay is low for local drivers who also have to handle freight, and Peyton’s does a poor job loading trailers.
