Trans-United
Get What It Takes

Our drivers handle freight from direct clients who see us as valued business partners. Trans-longevity United's strategy has included maintaining a loyal client base, which has kept us ranked as a Top 50 Specialized Carrier in North America by American Crane & Transport. Understanding who drivers are and what they value is essential for developing a positive relationship with them. We are TRUCKISMO - Truckismo is our slogan, the ideology by which our family of truckers lives. As a consequence, our drivers are tough, honest, and always prepared to execute the job correctly. Our CSA scores are excellent, and they are a direct indication of Truckismo drivers' dedication to execution and attention to detail.

The moving team I had was excellent. They worked very quickly, were very polite and and completed the job very well. This team went above and beyond to be helpful. The person on the phone estimated the move very very well. I couldn't be more pleased and would recommend and use this moving company again. Thank you

I've had two jobs since separating from the military in 2018. This is definitely the better of the two. We have a phenomenal team that is willing to help each other out when needed. We are growing each week whether it be new drivers, new carriers to work with, or new employees in the office. Couldn't recommend this company enough!

Deducted 50% from the line haul. The truck was late 3 hrs. Parties were notified the day prior. Trans-United never provided the evidence and proof of payment for the occured charges. They took 50% in their own pocket. God forbid if you truck breaks down. They will deduct 200%. This is the worst of the worst. Do not book any load with this company.

Current place of employment. They are not perfect and anyone that attempts to claim any place of business is is lying to you. In the almost 5 months I have been here I have grown to love the people and the personalities that come along with those people that are here. I'm treated like a person here and my abilities and attitude are what I am judged on more than an employee number as with other places. From a driver standpoint instead of a personal one though; they keep me loaded. They do a great job matching the loads with what your abilities are as well as the trailer currently assigned to you (there are many trailers here and it's unusual to pull one more than a week or two it seems like). Pay hits your account exactly when it's supposed to. I'm not hounded over things that they shouldn't be unlike if you drove at one of the big carriers such as tmc, Schneider, or any of so many others. They have insurance that I definitely should have taken advantage of (yeah; I laugh at myself too over that).

I have been driving for 37 years and have been leased to TU for almost 17 years and couldn’t be happier. Professional drivers in the fleet, the shop, and operations make all the difference. I can run where and how I want and am provided with all the tools to succeed. My settlements are paid weekly and the atmosphere is great. Nice paying freight and equipment. Company drivers have late model western stars with every option and big power. Trailers are late model. Fantastic safety program with bonuses and huge fuel discounts. TU does require top notch talent and is an elite company, so if you’re a “steering wheel holder” this isn’t the place for you. Check them out! 😀

They ran over the median, a sign, bellied out the trailer, and blocked the only bridge across a river causing for a hour long detour. Had a guide car and everything. So can’t drive navigate or measure. Good luck.

Do not work for this company. I was terminated after telling the company while at a shipper that i felt unsafe trying to tarp a load and that the shipper would not use their overhead crane to move my tarp up and over. I was expected to walk across and stand on top of a 11" foot tall metal create with very small tin or aluminum side panels. The safety department at trans united didn't want to have my back and nor did my dispatcher or anyone. I even tried to fight my case but was let good. So anyone looking to work for trans-united, i would just say one thing and thats dont. They will not stand behind you as a driver. Also the trucks are substandard. The truck i was in felt like i had to stand on the break pedal just to slow down. Trucks are governed to 65 mph. The truck had more rust on it then paint. Also after being terminated i had to ask for a way home. Couldn't rent a car. They tried to put me on a plane and then it came down to a bus ride home. They said they would mail the rest of my belongings to me. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

By far the worse company in the trucking industry. Don’t be fooled!!! My first trucking company was Western Express in 2020 when I graduated from trucking school. I’ve been to 2 other companies since. 09/07/2023 I’m currently a driver at Trans United truck #771, I haven’t been more miserable in my entire career. Everything these people tell you are lies. They broker all of their incoming-freight out so the company driver are left with scraps. Your first 2 weeks here you will not see a pay check. Their dispatcher Julie is forever at lunch so when you’re stuck in a situation you have to call 15 people to get in touch with her. The average line haul here is equivalent to about $1.60 a mile which you only receive 28% of. They don’t send you a rate confirmation which you are entitled to by law as a percentage driver. They send you what is called a movement bill; it has no broker information nor none of your information as the driver. This is to cover themselves from litigation if a driver was to ever push the matter that they steal more than half the true rate confirmation. Average pay: $800 a week… They charge you $200 bucks upon receiving your truck for seat covers that aren’t worth $20 on Amazon. They give you $500 after you complete orientation but your first fuel fill up is going to take $300 of that which they’ll tell you was an accident but you’ll never be reimbursed. I can go on and on. This is a terrible company. “Drivers” stay away from this place. Everyone stay away from this place. They are liars and scammers!!! Trans United Specialized Hauling is a joke. At this very moment I’m contending with them about my pay for this week. Their answer: the computer is acting up. Imagine that!!! If you have any since, do not apply or do business with these crooks.

i was a driver with them and they say one and do another like they pay 1,100 for the first 2 weeks and only pay 500.00 for the first 2 weeks that means 1 load a week.. so i would give the no stars.. so stay away from this company they only care about them self and owner operators and not there company driver they let them sit and only give them one load a week... just hope u don't leave anything in there truck when u leave because they will not return it....THE WORST COMPANY OUT THERE....STAY AWAY....
