I get home when I’m supposed to, but other times I’m out longer than I’d like. It’s a tough balance, but I appreciate that they try to accommodate our requests

We used Transport National to move 3 Vessels from Central Illinois to Southern WI. Drivers were on time and very accommodating. Watching them maneuver thru the tight city streets and having smaller vehicles try and get by them to save 15 seconds as they were trying to turn was very disheartening. Wish all automobile drivers would drive an oversized load and then they would be more respectful in what these drivers have to deal with on a daily basis. Would highly recommend Transport National for any of your trucking needs.
Great company to work with
I’d add a picture of the plate and can, but it’s not an option currently. One of your drivers tried running us off the road because he didn’t have enough room to squeeze in where he wanted. He can’t decide the speed he wants to go and is making it everyone else’s problem. Overloaded and dangerous!!!

Plenty of home time, modern and well-maintained equipment. Few tarp loads, holiday pay, home most weekends, minimal travel to the East Coast, and rarely wait more than 24 hours.
A reliable company with safe, compliant equipment specializing in oversized freight. Transport National treats you as a person rather than a number. When you contact your driver manager, they recognize you from your number. The permit team quickly resolves any permit concerns or organizes escorts if needed. Maintenance here is exceptional—the shop manager, who is a co-owner, is dedicated to keeping the trucks safe and compliant.
I appreciated the work, but management wasn’t ideal. From the local manager to HR, their approach was inconsistent and challenging to understand. After developing a medical issue that prevented me from fulfilling part of my "job description," I was not allowed to continue working and was terminated due to this medical condition.
Working here teaches you how to properly secure and strap equipment onto trailers. From my perspective, the workdays are not too long.

One of their minivan drivers was recklessly weaving through traffic and drifting into adjacent lanes on Highway 10. This is exactly the opposite of what you’d expect from an escort transport company. Highly unprofessional.
