Driver of this truck was really rude and uncalled for. Blares horn because I had to turn. Then comes in the same parking lot as me thowing up his middle finger at me. Then comes in the store swearing at me and tells me to take all the pictures I want so I did. He's diving a giant billboard with your company information plastered all over it. I am waiting to get a phone call back from the company about this incident. I really should juat call the cops on him. Not acceptable for a man to threaten a woman.

Wish I could give it a ZERO. You do NOT want to drive for this incompetent mess. I'm just warning you all. 19 years and they keep screwing me. Less loads, less vacation (they stole the Sr. guys vacation - 5 weeks to 3!!! Transwood, Brian Woods and his associates are incompetent! Their trying to squeeze blood out of a turnip. Good luck guys...it will backfire on ya. lol

I was parking my truck and one of their drivers came out of his truck cursing me and used hard foul language simply because the truck sound woke him up when I was packing up. I apologised to him but he kept calling me names and threatened me that in the morning he will do something to teach me a lesson. He is a bad image for this company and for the record of the company to teach their drivers show to behave, his truck number attached. 08/09/2022 @ 7:55pm

I have never used this service, but I can tell you I never will after seeing how the truck drivers treat other drivers. After watching one of their truck drivers run a car off of the road and the vehicle I am in. On Sunday oct 7, 2018 at about 2:00 pm In Loudon TN the traffic on 75 was stopped. So everyone was getting off at the exit. Well knowing that every trucker has a GPS and CB radios, he knew about the stop on 75 and the back up getting off at the exit. So instead of getting in line with every other car he decides to wait until he gets right at the exit to get off. At that point he started to push a Honda CR-V off of the road and when he seen the Honda was not going to be bullied by him he tried pushing the vehicle I’m in off. Then honking as if we done something wrong. I tried to call the main office with no answer because it was not normal business hours. So if the drivers are ok with jeopardizing people’s lives just think about what they will do with your items.

I contacted TransWood Inc. when I was in the market for companies transporting dry ash across the Midwest. I was referred to TransWood by another company that uses them frequently to move shipments. I was very satisfied with their level of professionalism, their personable staff, and the rates that they quoted for my loads.

I would never recommend this company. A TransWood driver tried to push me out into oncoming traffic on a busy city intersection in Omaha NE on December 9th 2021. When I would not pull out into the traffic, he laid on the horn. When I was finally able to go, he proceeded to pull out in front of traffic. I then observed the driver go through a red light on the same busy street. I called the office to report the driver and was put through to a voice mail and my message was never returned. If you care about safety, go with another carrier.

Guaranteed pay with decent runs, but the driver-facing camera policies are strictly enforced. Management and dispatch are fine, but they lack compassion. Proceed with caution.

This company has the worst management I've ever seen. Many employees form cliques and constantly try to impress leadership—it’s obvious to outsiders. Driver-facing Lytx cameras are used excessively, especially to target those who don’t conform. If you value a stress-free work environment, steer clear.

You won’t make $1,300. Even on a good week, you’ll get shorted somewhere and end up with just the minimum. On bad weeks, expect to earn only $16.70 per hour—hardly fair pay for a Class A driver.

Transwood in Tulsa, OK is a great place to work. The terminal manager, dispatchers, and shop staff are always pleasant. Any maintenance issues with tractors or trailers get resolved quickly. I highly recommend checking them out.

Working for Transwood also means working for Cyanco—they pay part of your salary. You’ll deal with multiple mine sites and bosses. The turnover rate is sky-high. If you want stability, avoid this company.

They overwork drivers and rely on a handful of people to carry the workload because they can’t retain employees. Those who stick around get pushed to their limit and discarded. You’ll have to put your job above your family—don’t expect a predictable schedule. The pay is terrible, and the hours are unpredictable. You’re essentially on call six days a week.

No reliable schedule, making family plans impossible. The job was advertised as local, but it’s actually OTR, with most runs 6-12 hours away. Expect hotel stays and long periods away from home. The interview process included many false promises.

I can’t speak for other terminals, but the Augusta, GA terminal is terrible. Drivers are pushed to exhaustion both physically and mentally. Dispatch constantly messes up paychecks—taking back payments they claim were errors. Early morning loads (midnight to 4 AM) are common. You’ll earn money, but at a great personal cost.

Management is deceptive and disregards drivers entirely. The guaranteed pay is revoked at their discretion if every minor requirement isn’t met. The schedule is inconsistent, trucks are poorly maintained, and overall, it’s a terrible place to work.

They made big promises but failed to deliver. There’s lots of unpaid deadhead miles and underpaid freight, making it tough to earn a fair wage. Company drivers might have better luck, but as an owner-operator, I make more money hauling dry van.

This is the best trucking job I’ve ever had. The worst part is early dispatch, which isn’t ideal for those who prefer later start times. The manager is fantastic, trucks are well-maintained, and loads are worthwhile. I highly recommend Transwood in Charleston, TN—it has a family-like atmosphere. If you learn the job and perform well, you’ll succeed here.

Good pay with a guaranteed weekly minimum. However, taking a day off—even for a required DOT physical—means losing the pay guarantee, which significantly impacts your paycheck. Occasionally, you’ll have to take a 34-hour reset on the road, but they compensate for it. Equipment is decent.
