Recently I was asked by Breakdown to pull a load that was illegal and dangerous because he didn't want to send a repair truck that far into northern Michigan because it was too expensive. When I asked if TNi would pay the ticket if I got one, he responded "I doubt it!" I brought the matter up to several managers and they all supported Breakdown's position instead of backing me up. I drove 46 miles in snow with bad brakes with a 45,000 pound load because they left me no choice. Several weeks later I was fired for a minor parking lot incident! No doubt they were seeking revenge for having questioned the managers' authority! Management is toxic at TNi! Almost seven years of driving for this company with no accidents or moving violations went unheeded! I am a good loyal and hardworking driver who almost always made his deadlines. I didn't deserve this treatment. In the last year or so TNi has bought out two other companies and absorbed them into the present company. Chaos ensued! I worked harder but made less! I sat without a load for days at a time! TNi is not the company I started with! It used to be all business but still human. Now it's lost its humanity. I do not recommend working for them!

Tri national is more than a job. It's a home. I am a current driver for tni and here is my honest review. Dispatch: my dispatcher ames is by far the best I have ever worked with in the trucking industry. They go above and beyond what any normal dispatcher would do for their drivers. They are what every dispatcher should strive to be. Trucks: slip seating in a sleeper truck sucks. Most of the trucks I've been in are filthy AF from drivers not cleaning before they leave the truck. Please hire a cleaning company to keep trucks clean out of the lebonan terminal... They are nasty and I'm tired of getting into a truck that is filled with used slept on mattresses with stains, tons of trash and smells like the previous driver never took a shower. Pay: it's low.. only 50 cents a mile. Most places start fresh drivers out at 60-64 com now with no experience. Since tni requires at least 2 years of experience we should make more than 50 cents a mile. Miles: it's good. I average 3000 plus a week Home time: best in industry Maintenance: if you report they will fix. Overall: it's a 3.8/5 star company. If you raise pay and clean the trucks you would be the best out there. From: Katherine gamm01

idk anymore with this company honestly but, driver for over 5yrs with tni. sitting on phone for literally 46mins and another for 58mins is insane & multiple time/days. wkend even worst don't believe me? try your luck few of the dispatchers are horrible to deal with on any level. the pay is not even keeping up with the real world by any means. .50cpm is the biggest slap to a drivers face on a daily basis of being stressed out and half the times fight and claw for loads just to get 2400miles. when I started it was no problem getting 3000-3600miles easily now since they bought other company seems miles went down the gutter. God forbid you see envelopes with (BOLs >>Bills/paperwork) sitting at terminals and ask if anyone is assign to it, when all you're doing is just seeing if its something you could run with and ask about. few dispatchers hate you took time to ramble thru bills and even ask that question. tni: "how dare you that's my job" you: I'm just trying see if I can get myself moving either yes or no don't need a lecture only positive is go home when you want for however long just don't exceed (29days to be on safe side) 30days or 4wks that way your time with company don't start over. even at times when you try go home on wkend just to take care of stuff somehow they still manage to keep you away frm getting home back to back wks. everything is great long as you don't talk back or stand up for yourself. you're just starting out is always perfect but do as daddy say and make no enemies. once time is in its all downhill from there if you're not one of their favorites. SLIP SEAT!!!! if ya don't know what that means well........that mean no truck is assign to you!! PERIOD. when you go home or on 34hr break most times they want you clean all your stuff out if not its very very very likely if you left the keys they will oull all your belongings out and place inside building. so pray nobody steals it which usually doesnt happen. also you get to drive behind willy that left any and everything behind in the truck from toe nail clippings to cigarette butts even food so hope that someone clean behind themselves or a worker that cleans trucks at one of the yards did their job. sign on bonus is a joke might have to run 11,500 -12,000 miles a month to get it which is more than possible but why run so hard to get $500 at a time when it might take you 2yrs or 4yrs heck it could be 1yr to get all of it I believe the driver earned his/her bonus by putting in atleast 1full yr regardless of how many miles.

I never worked here but they never return complaint calls. I encountered one of their drivers on the Illinois tollway. Erratic lane changing, speeding in excess of 75, cutting in front of persons (me) and having to slam on my brakes because there really wasn't enough room. Driving in the fast car lane (3rd lane). And on this day people were driving a little more cautiously because of the rain and cold. Black ice....TNI Earth City, MO I will post this again and again. Trailer # 3904 headed east on I 90 . This was a couple days ago but I called to make a complaint I got the run around, hung up on, and when I left a call back number no one returned my call.

The absolute best company I have ever worked for!!!!! I consistently get 3400+ miles every week in some of the best equipment I've ever driven. My dispatcher, Dominique, works hard for her drivers. I honestly believe she works more hours a week than I do. She is always super friendly and helpful...Goes above and beyond to make sure her drivers are taken care of. She has a very professional attitude and is great with communication. This is why TNI is a great company. Its the type of people they hire and the standard they hold for each. Dominique, Greg, Micheal, Nathan, Bob, and many more, just to name a few. If you want to work for an amazing company with hometime, that beats any offered in the industry, this is the company. I make great money and still get to see my two daughters grow up. What more can I ask for?

Biggest two faced people that you will ever come across. I left a job and passed on two others to work for these people. After clearing me and having done a drug screen and orientation. Assigned me truck. 30 minutes later they call me and tell me I cannot work for them. My best advice is don't accept a job offer from these people because they will sit you out on the street with no notice. Travis Maddox

They let me go without an explanation, or hesitation. They slip seat and you have to leave truck on yard. They promose hometime and dont care if you return to work or not. They never gave me a reason why they released me from work. This company is full of big mouth cowards. Run far away from these people if you are smart.

I don't recommend TNI...I have been black balled by them for issues that was caused by TNI and my lap belt on the seatbelt was cutting into my abdomen and they terminated me for it...if anyone asks me, I will continue warning ⚠️ people about this company and how bad they are to their drivers...the $10,000 sign on bonus, you have to earn that bonus monthly for 14 months by driving 11,500 miles or you will not receive it... Their trucks are not always clean and sanitized prior drivers being assigned to the trucks... trailers and trucks have out of date or no inspection stickers on them...their mechanics in the Pharr, Del Rio, Laredo, San Antonio, Hooks, and Charleston are extremely lazy and do not maintain TNI equipment properly... Terminal managers and most dispatchers are rude and will straight up lie to you same goes for the safety department...Like I said, "I highly do not recommend TNI to anyone!!!" 1 sec ago Matt was the best person I knew there...

It's a fantastic workplace that feels like family. My usual day involves driving trucks. I've gained so much knowledge here—where do I even begin? Management is supportive and offers great advice whenever needed. The workplace culture deserves an A+ in my book. The toughest part is being away from my family, but you do what you must for them. The best part is coming home to the people you love.

This is an excellent company to work for! Most trips are completed in five days, and then you can take as much time off as you need. They operate only in Midwest and Southern states, avoiding the East Coast. While the pay is average, the only downside is having to vacate your truck for any reset longer than 34 hours, which can make getting a clean truck tricky.
