Best company I have worked for. I don’t need management, these company runs itself. You have a set run and set miles.
Love my job, hate the company, but unfortunately they pay me well enough with benefits that I’ll be here a while.
This is a good company to build a retirement with great pay but it does come with downsides.
The pay and benefits are excellent, but UPS isn’t what it used to be. Employees are dissatisfied, and communication within management is poor, creating a hostile work environment.
One of the most negative workplaces imaginable. Union representation is weak or nonexistent. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone looking for a fulfilling job. The employees work incredibly hard and deserve better treatment.
The best part of the job was using my own car for deliveries. The most stressful aspect was dealing with customer calls when deliveries weren’t on time. The work environment was positive, with friendly coworkers and a collaborative atmosphere. A typical day involved sorting packages, loading them into the car, and delivering them to customers.
The job required long hours with minimal breaks and was physically demanding. The set schedule provided consistency, and the coworkers were great. Having the same driver daily helped build strong working relationships.
I worked at UPS for three years before transitioning to a driving role. Management varied—some were supportive, while others were toxic. Driving involved 12-hour shifts every day, but the working-class staff was excellent.
I’m grateful for my time at UPS, as they covered my school expenses. The downside was that hours were frequently cut outside of peak season. Employees received 40 hours of vacation time plus an optional week
An okay place to work, but very stressful. Working in different weather conditions was challenging. The pay was decent at the start, especially with overtime. Management was helpful when providing tips.
A good temporary job lasting 5–6 weeks during the holidays. Don’t expect to be hired permanently—they typically move seasonal workers to loading trucks once the holidays end. It’s a good way to earn extra money.
I enjoy flexible work and find driving on weekends beneficial for staying alert and focused. It’s a good opportunity for those who prefer working independently.
A great workplace for those who can handle the challenges of driving. It’s not easy, but the job can be rewarding. The longer you stay, the better it gets. I’d recommend it to athletic individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments.
The best part of the job was working independently in my own car. The most stressful aspect was the unpredictable schedule—hours could be cut suddenly. The work environment was fast-paced, but coworkers weren’t particularly helpful. A typical day involved meeting up with a driver, receiving assignments, loading the car, delivering packages, taking breaks, and checking out at the end of the shift.
A great experience—fun, exciting, and rewarding. The work environment was supportive, and I always got home on time to spend time with family.
The job required 10+ hour days with little work-life balance unless you had five or more years of seniority. Deliveries were frequent unless assigned to a rural route. The pay and benefits were excellent, even for new employees.
An outstanding workplace with strong management and opportunities for advancement. Teamwork was encouraged, and training was excellent. The pay and benefits were great, especially for college graduates.
The workload was excessive, with unreasonable expectations. Management treated employees poorly, often assigning additional tasks after completing routes late into the evening. The physical demands were extreme—expect long-term health consequences.
