he job/life relationship at Upstaging is a feature I've really come to enjoy. A few months ago, I needed time off to care for my injured wife. The management team was absolutely understanding. I think it tells a lot about the company. Empathy and support is rare in this industry
One of the things I have enjoyed about Upstaging is the type of work we get to do. I've had the chance to work on some big-name tours and trade shows
This company makes things fresh and exciting. Every time something new there
Apply guys. Dont miss an opportunity to see great events
The pay and benefits 🚛✨
Didn't like delivering here one bit, they open at 8:30, which is super late as is. By the time I get done traffic is hellish already. Then they didn't start unloading me till about an hour after they opened which I would understand if they were busy but I was the only one there. Only good thing was the clean bathrooms. Hope I don't get loads to this place no more.
Let your drivers know they don’t own the roads. Trying to block TWO lanes of traffic with two trucks parked side by side in down town Boston is idiotic. Luckily a cop came over and let the waiting vehicles go. Your drivers don’t have the authority to stand in the road with their hand up blocking tracking mid day in the city. Let a detail officer make those decisions or you’re asking for trouble.
Worked with Upstaging as a contractor in 2023 and they were absolutely top notch and world class! Treated me with the upmost respect.
On time everytime , like surgeons with 18 wheels Thanks 👍
Appointment for pickup in the middle of the lunch break just a waste 1 hour of truckers time
TSO west tour 2021
I was at our dentist office and noticed a clear barrier that this company upstaging made.I thought the company was just what it is They clearly make some of the finest protective face to face barriers I have seen.Fine example of a company doing their very best to keep moving forward in this pandemic.I see their trucks going down the road on occasion very nice and clean I must say.But I believe they make displays and such as well as these fine barriers.Great job Upstaging your craftsman and craftsmanship rock
Great company to work for I've been there for years and counting the days until we will be back to normal entertaining the fans
I have worked here 12 years now as a tour driver.
I love this company
A company specializing in stage lighting and trucking, offering a highly demanding yet rewarding experience. Management is exceptionally reliable, understanding, and willing to go above and beyond to assist with roadside needs or family emergencies. This is, without a doubt, the best company I’ve ever worked for. They have high expectations for professionalism and integrity, and rightfully so. As a highly respected company, they require employees to exceed expectations to ensure customer satisfaction. The nature of their work makes balancing home and work life challenging, but they proactively assist in scheduling "home time" in alignment with tour schedules. UPSTAGING became more than just a workplace—it felt like a second home for me and my colleagues. Truly an amazing company!
This company used to be an excellent place to work but has shifted toward a freight company mindset! Previously, hiring was based on connections, but now they seem to bring in anyone. Not an ideal job for those with young children, as tours can last anywhere from 2 to 6 months, depending on the tour.
Above all, this company is dedicated to managing concert tours and is far from a traditional trucking company. With that in mind, there are a few important things to consider: - Minimal home time while on tour. - Competitive pay, including tour bonuses and benefits. - "No Touch" loads are non-existent—you’ll assist with loading and unloading. - Almost exclusively night driving. - Scheduling is well-defined and planned in advance. - Tours can be highly enjoyable with the right team! - No riders or pets allowed (which is a big downside). - Requires driving through major city downtown areas.
An excellent company to work for. As a driver, you can expect to be trusted to complete your tasks without constant supervision from management. If an issue arises, a lead driver is available to assist and communicate concerns with production or the office. You'll be a valued team member, helping fellow drivers by performing tasks such as opening trailer doors and keeping an eye out for potential hazards to prevent accidents.
I’ve been rollin’ with ‘em for years. They ain’t your run-of-the-mill truckin’ company, lemme tell ya. They’re like family
You do work you’re proud of, and the pay
Up to a hundred grand a year! And get this, it ain’t based on miles – even zero-mile days on tour get you paid!
Upstaging’s got the finest rigs – company-owned tractors and trailers that shine like a new dime.
they got a logistics crew on call 24/7 – nothin’ slips through the cracks. So, if you’re lookin’ for a gig that’s more than just haulin’, Upstaging’s where it’s at, my friend.
They’re like the secret sauce of truckin’, ya know
Been haulin’ loads with ‘em since the cows came home.
You hop in that cab, and it’s like straddlin’ a wild bronco – power under your boots, wind in your hair, and CB chatter buzzin’ like a hive of bees.
They’ll route ya through shortcuts even Google Maps don’t know about!
