I'm training with this company right now and my only problem is that i wish i would have applied a long time ago! Great place to work and seems like a great bunch of drivers to work around and learn from
Waste my time for no reason . Davida, HR manager treat people unfairly, she is not very communicative, will waste ur time for no reason . She brings bad reputation for the company.
Work was tedious and I love this place. I need a job right now! Gps tech or truck driver
They deliver cars to my dealer, multiple have been damaged and I've been sitting on the phone to had an email added to the list to have bill of ladings emailed to when they deliver cars, sitting on hold for 12 minutes for something that'd take two. They better be glad I don't control who we use as transporters, because they wouldn't be delivering here anymore. Pathetic customer service and lackluster drivers!
the drivers for this company have absolutely no concern or consideration for other driving on the highway. driver with trailer 17008T cut me off from a merge lane and almost caused an accident, then proceeded to flip me off when i was finally able to get around him in anther lane.
On training. Top pay. Happy car haulers. Will keep you updated on training results. Uncertain of training manager's agenda.
Amazing company to work for. Love this place feels like a big family
I work here...great place to work. Pay is great and people are fun to work with. If your looking for a great job you should apply here.
Josh, Frank and driver Joe are the kind of people you want in your circle. Let's not forget Darell from Freeport Awesome people. Thanks for your support.
Delivered a load of steel there, thanks for unloading so quick!!
Cut pay micro management, very sad place to work. Major turn around. 6 days a week for avg 85 90k and to much stress on numbers and damages.
This company is awesome! I was very impressed with this organization. They seem to really care ankh their employees.
I am still in training... But so far I am thrilled with the company and how they treat employees. I am definitely impressed and excited for my future with USAL.
You’re just a number working for this company.. GREAT company.. But you’re only a number..
Enjoyed my time while I was there
Got laid off as a driver when Covid 19 first started and was told i was eligable for rehire but tried twice in 2021 and was turned down.
Worked for them almost 13 years had several bad experiences with them got hurt on the job and they put me on FMA an 13 weeks later terminated my position
Newly employed by USAL. I can't say enough about their commitment to safety and training new drivers about what their expectations are and giving guys the tools to be exactly that.
I’ve seen a lot of changes over the past 9 years. Some are good and some bad. One thing I’ll recommend is just to get your truck loaded up and down the road. If you’re not making over 90k your just not pushing yourself. There are lots of rules to follow and there is constant changes. If you’re are motivated individual with an open mind and willing to stay away from the crybabies you will make a wonderful living.
What is the best part of working at the company? My coworkers were great. Learning a new industry What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Equipment and also the way they scored your performance What is the work environment and culture like at the company? The work environment is good. The culture is everyone helps each other. What is a typical day like for you at the company? A typical day is very tedious you want to get as much accomplished as possible. You have to be a good time manager.
What is the best part of working at the company? Having your effort and being paid like your efforts are appreciated. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Minimal stress with this company. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? They are who they profess to be. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Hauling automobiles... wash, rinse, repeat.
Work is pretty straightforward. I OTR Monday through Friday and normally make it home Friday afternoon/evening. I mainly run AL GA TN but if things get slow, I'll make a run out to TX. It's great communication between management and the drivers. As long as you are doing your work they really don't bother you. If you are looking at getting into car hauling then US Autologistics is a great company to work for
It’s a good place to work at, and they give good benefits except for the insurance because it’s really expensive. The management team could be better because they aren’t too knowledgeable of where they send you. And if you ever work there the safety manager is very degrading and rides a high horse, but he’s just a number in the company so don’t worry about him.
As with most big companies you are only a number at US Autologistics. Micromanage every little detail day to day. Stay away!! The managers at US auto logistics consider you to be replaceable at any minute. They can always how hire new people. This is their motto!!
Great place to work. Co workers are always willing to help you to get the job done. Very nice and clean facilities. Nice equipment late model 80ft quick loaders.
If you are a driver that is willing to drive 2500+ miles a week and will go anywhere in the US and already have good habits and a general knowledge of the transportation industry, then you will take home large settlements and be able to call ATS home. I came from another company as a company driver and did their lease program and am currently in the process of buying out the truck and let me tell you that as an O/O with ATS, you have 100% no forced dispatch, they let you look on their brokeredloads website and you can even choose your own load if you want to. 100%fuel surcarge, amazing tarp/stop/layover/OD pay. Here at ATS if you want to succeed and bring home those large settlements, then you need to be able to drive 2500+ miles a week and hard working. I have been here for just under a year and trust me when I say, if you are willing to follow the money wherever and stay out for long periods of time longer than 1 or 2 weeks then you will profit here as an O/O.
long work days. management ok. great place to work. hardest part of the job is the long days. lots of hours. best part would have to be being out on your own
I enjoyed working at USAL until I got laid off due to COVID 19. They have rather nice management whom work well with drivers. They don't have forced dispatch, so they will send you where you wanna go if there are cats available.
I was there over 10 years, got a 1.5 cent a mile rise in 10 years. That doesn't even cover the cost of living. the insurance went up every year at least $40-$80 a month. the last year i was there it went up from $400.00 a month to 600.00 a month without a raise. Seniority means nothing there. Managers do not listen to you . If you want to last with this company, do not voice your opinion. If you do, you won't be there long. they claim its open door policy, but it is not. The shop is a joke. The equipment is getting better but not there yet. Great uniforms. Make sure you use your vacation because If you get laid off or if you get fired, you will not get paid because they count it as PTO time, not vacation.HR is a joke because no one in the office has any car haul experience.
It was an enjoyable opportunity working for us auto logistics. They were very patient with drivers with no experience and took their time making sure you under how important it was for you to understand your job and description
Lots of work. Can make $130,000.+ yr. Management does not know how to run a company. Rules and politics change constantly. Use camera against you for every thing
Drivers are held to the highest standard in the company. There is no driver review board... so when incidents occur, driver is left in limbo for weeks while management decides if you should have a job.
Load and unload cars from plants and dealers. Great pay and benefits, although costs keep going up for everyone. Management change lately causing lots of changes for the better. New equipment on order should help us make more money. Shop improvements in work. Want to continue working here for the long haul. Recommend coming here as great place to work.

This company provides pay-for-performance. Management communicates through several sources and tries to do the right thing. Trucks break down and need service, but if you keep on the shop, it gets fixed. Overall one of best car haul/trucking companies out there..
