I’ve been at USA for 3 years as an owner op. I used to love this company but ever since the buy out, it has gone downhill. They honestly don’t care about their drivers or ICs. We get ignored if we bring a problem to their attention. They feed their company drivers first and allow them to use the same load board as the owner op side so we have to compete and fight for good loads.

I was looking for a job, and I was still working, I was told I could make $35 an hour. I figured they were lying to me so I stayed where I was until I retired. After reading these reviews I'm glad I stayed where I was. After 44 years driving trucks I sure enough would not have put up with some of the things I have read about on here.

Worked for about a year and a half. Came in under fleet 33 and did Texas Regional. Started out great. Manager got promoted and completely moved so a new manager filled their spot. Started off a little rocky but I managed. Last few months though was just straight down hill. Between their shift and night/weekend shift, absolutelly no communication.

I'm an owner operator and I booked a straight through load with them. Biggest mistake ever. They posted a window time from 12:30pm until 4:00pm For both pickup and delivery. I ended up waisting 10 hours of my day. For a load that was just going 20 miles from point A to point B The time lost was not worth the money.

It’s a decent place to work, and they try to keep drivers busy. However, there isn’t enough freight to go around, so be cautious when considering this company and come prepared.

Dispatch during the week is solid, but on weekends, it’s outsourced and largely ineffective. My driver manager was great and didn’t micromanage. I was promised 3,000 miles per week with 95% drop-and-hook but ended up getting closer to 2,000 miles and only about 20% drop-and-hook.
