I hope they have a plan in place to handle increased demand without sacrificing service quality.
I’d love to see more clarity in their pricing. It’s always a bit nerve-wracking when you’re not sure what you’re getting into
These folks really know how to move goods like nobody's business
They’ve got that grit that reminds me of the good ol’ days
This driver flashed his high beams when I passed him and continued to flash me when I got in front. If you have road rage issues you don’t need to be operating an 18 wheeler. Stay home and contemplate on why you’re so angry.
This company is the most dispicable company ever. They claim to be a family oriented family, but yet they fired a guy who was out with his dying 13 year old grandson who had cancer. Keep in mind this guy kept in touch with them regularly to make sure everything was good and they assured him it was, but these snakes showed their true colors!!! Stay away from this company and take your business elsewhere!!! Find a company who truly describes what they offer what they say they do and represent!
Mallisa is two faced she will smile in your face and talk behind your back. She went out of her way to give a bad review about me to another company that I work for now and she turned around and tried to give my information to a friend of hers at another company, now if that’s not two face I don’t know what is lol 😂
Their drivers have road rage issues. I was getting over in front of one of their trucks a few minutes ago on I95 in Palm Coast Fl to exit while still giving them plenty of room. They got over but still never passed me until I got into the exit lane. Then the driver proceeded to blow his horn and flip me off. Not very professional at all.
I work here so you will see me go in and out alots
Great ownership. Larry Sellers built a great company.
The recruiter was informative. Very easy to talk to. Not pushy at all. Can’t say if it’s truly a great company because I don’t work there. But it seems to be a good family oriented company
I have been driving for Volume, for two weeks. However, I can say, without reservation, this company treats their drivers with absolute respect. The are continuously striving to improve and meet the needs of their clients and they have a real understanding, that to do this, they need happy drivers, to get the loads delivered on time. They truly care about everyone who works with them. They strive to maintain their equipment and how much you make in a week, is really up to you. They will give you great miles, if you want them. If you want to be home more, they will help you with that, too. It's really up to you. They do govern your speed at 65 for the first 30 days. Then up it to 68, as of the time of this post. At this point, and I don't see it changing any time soon, I have finally found my trucking home. I'm truly happy with Volume and I would gladly and whole heartedly recommend this company to anyone, to work for as a driver, or as a carrier of their product.
Volume is the best company I ever worked for. They treat you like family. Where else can you get paid top dollar to see the country and make good friends at the same time.
They are a basic trucking company with out a lot of thrills and frills . .they are improving on there truck quality from international, Volvo to Kenworths , freightliner. The staff of logistics managers keep you busy as much as you wish to work . There are good days and a few slow days or only 200 or 300 Miles trip . Just need to roll with the punches. The shop does well being able to service your truck and they have a safety lane for trailers for service or repairs just have to stop by for about 30 minutes to have a quick.look over . The people in the front office do their best to accommodate drivers mechanics. Fleet managers , sales customer service. All of the staff that work behind the scenes
2 stars is about the best I can do at the moment.... .42 cpm +.10 per diem only $13.00 for unloading, loading, pre tripping and post tripping. Net somewhere between $975- $1350....and they don't give raises.....🤦🏾♂️ …
I have been a Driver for Volume Transportation now for 6 years. These folks really care for the drivers. They showed me that their word is good as gold.. They are family oriented and they strive to take care of any issues as soon as possible. The equipment is top notch.
I have been here in the carbon division for almost 7 months now. I find Volume to be family oriented. The driver managers do not micro manage. The Planners show great patience. Shop personal work hard to keep us rolling. Lastly and most importantly they have delivered on every promise during my recruitment. I enjoy working with the office. Good people. 1YR UPDATE : You can make outstanding money here. They take care of you the driver and your family. Driver managers are exceptional. Volume is a rare place to be and I certainly do not hesitate to appreciate everything they have provided for my family. They are outstanding people. Ken Summerlin
I have never worked for a company that cares for their employees and remembers your name and not a number. This company also allows me to be a parent and an employee not making me have to choose. So thankful to work for a company that appreciates you
Been Here NOW for almost 2 years. At This company YOU are a name not just a number, VOLUME GETS YOU HOME ON TIME, What they tell you they ACTUALLY DO. VOLUME takes care of business, and I NEVER HAD problems with my money. They DO NOT bother you, they really JUST LET YOU WORK, the part I LOVE MOST. Great company and I’m not just saying that. I love it here!

I would give it 5 stars if they didn’t fire me for something as simple as parking on the on-ramp of a highway. So, this company gets 4 stars.

Things became stressful only after management changes. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Dispatch and support teams create a positive work atmosphere. Recruiting is efficient, answers questions well, and ensures everything is in place to get you started quickly.

Communication issues from the company. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Laid-back with a family feel and mutual respect. Worked here for a week, and it was a terrible experience. Issues included a non-functional fuel card, out-of-pocket toll expenses, a non-starting truck, and long waiting times at shippers. I was also unfairly blamed for delays caused by company inefficiencies.
The company is good overall, with no micromanaging and decent pay. Home time is ample, dispatch is okay, and orientation is quick. Equipment is satisfactory.
Pay isn’t great, and the company may try to take advantage of you. Home time and people are decent, but don’t expect to earn much here if money is your priority.
Work-life balance: Acceptable if you don’t mind getting home late at night. Management: Managers, especially my driver manager, were unhelpful. Overall: My worst work experience, even compared to other challenging jobs I’ve had.
The staff and owners are friendly. I left for a better opportunity closer to home but otherwise would have stayed. It’s a good company, and initial skepticism based on reviews proved to be unfounded.
Pay is decent, and it’s a good place to gain experience. Management issues arise occasionally but are generally resolved.
The hours are grueling with little care for employee well-being. They prioritize having someone in the truck around the clock over anything else.
Dispatch needs improvement, with better benefits and retirement plans for drivers. Professional and competent dispatchers are also needed.
If you value a company that cares about its drivers and provides the necessary tools for success, this is the place. The owners and office staff are exceptional.
Dispatch is unreliable, and when quitting, the company withholds pay. The work environment is marked by dishonesty and favoritism.
Raises are rare, even for long-term drivers, and there’s a lack of care for employees despite good supervisors and a positive work environment.
The work environment is laid-back, with steady assignments and productive days. It’s an all-around good place to work.
A reliable company with helpful staff. Trucks are new, and the driver facilities are well-maintained.
If you enjoy backing trailers into docks, this is a suitable job. However, it can be stressful shuttling between plant and warehouse, with no breaks or sick coverage without prior notice.
