Jeff Digby, who grew up in the transportation service industry, started Voyager Express in 1995 with no more than five trucks. In a combination of luck and hard work, he succeeded in growing the company to 100 trucks operating in the Western U.S. He focuses on high-service routes in the west and believes in hiring the right people and giving them the tools they need.

My carrier uses this location as it's Denver drop yard. The Voyager staff is friendly and there is always space there its great to take your break at so you don't have to hunt around Denver for a spot if you roll in late. The only draw back is most of the drop lot is dirt don't come after a rainy day or if you just washed your truck as when other drivers go through the lot they kick up a ton of dirt.
I have called about buying used trailers and no one returned my calls. Likewise I called about renting drop yard space and no one returns my calls. This is sad considering the owner introduced himself to me when we met along the driveway.
When I can hangout with my friends, Royce doesn't mind telling me about his last load, what it is, and where it's going. He sure does enjoy working for Voyager!!
Dirt Parking lot. They recently filled in the potholes, but it's getting bad already. If it rains, have fun in the mud. Insufficient lighting on premises. They do have a bathroom and small lounge on the far side of the building. Typically no issues getting a spot.
Safe secure place to drop a trailer or even park for the night. There are potholes so big and deep they remind me of the craters left by the atom bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I wish they could do something about that. There is also a bullet hole in the sign out front which would indicate this is not a great area so I wouldn't recommend walking the dog very far here 😬
Drop yard for my company. Sad to see my hard work go down the drain. 24hr access. Shower and laundry available.
I do with the Gate code was more readily available..
I'm a trucker out of Dallas, Texas. Every time I've visited Voyager, great service was given to me. I recommend using these guys
Plenty of space to manuever, easy to get in and out of with plenty of close by gas stations.
3 stars bcos you can get in anytime of the day as long as you got the gate code... This yard for over 4years I have been coming here...nothing been done to the huge neck breaking pot holes at every 6foot of the drop yard...not good at all...and when it rains..No Comments!
Just don’t. Horrible pay. Kayla redid the pay for the flatbed so she wouldn’t have to pay us as much. She’s a horrible example of how someone should run a company.
I worked 8 years for Voyager Express and enjoyed every day of it Jeff was a great boss and a great person all the garbage and I got along just fine I know I drove Jim the maintenance guy crazy but I had to retire early because of bad hip! I really enjoyed my time there and miss driving!
I don’t drive anymore due to physical impairments. But this company was the best company I’ve worked for. They bought us pizza if we were there over the weekends for maintenance or a reset. Aswell gave understanding of circumstantial medications.
Seems to be a great place as of right now to work for. As far as their yard/ lot it is fairly easy to maneuver and everyone had been really nice and welcoming. I'll update this at a later time if there is any changes as we've only been coming here for a few weeks now but definitely so far so good.
Great company and staff. I just hate the cameras that record the driver behind the wheel that only seems to build a negative profile about when that product could assemble a positive profile for a driver as well yet it doesn’t.!!!!!!!!
I worked for this company for over 3 years, and it’s honestly one of the best companies I have worked for in a while, I wish I had found them sooner. They are very honest and respectful and provide lots of work. Im definitely satisfied with this company.
Voyager is a very decent company.. Unfortunately I was not getting good hours and didn't want nights at the time.. Tim is a great guy in the front office and we still chat when he has time.. I send friends there.. And still have friends that work there.. Great group of drivers.. Keep building great business to work at.. Thank You...
To put it simply, this is THE BEST trucking company I have ever worked with....BAR NONE!!! I've been trucking for close to 28 years now, and that says a lot about this company. I'm thankful, happy, and proud to be an integral part of this team!
New trucks but alot of old crappy trailers ! Owner is nice, good to talk with. Home when I want. Mechanics I find to be rude to drivers .
Decent company if your looking for local work. Never give raises. Frequently pay is not accurate have to call and get it adjusted. They mainly deliver chrysler parts so whenever the plant is down so are the drivers.
No life balance,no job security. Drivers are just numbers. No one will stop to ask you if you need anything to make sure you success at work. They expect you to know everything. If you make a mistake you are fired.
The company is good for drivers fresh out of school. The equipment is ok. The pay is straight time and there is no holiday pay or overtime. You will work long hours.
Had issues with dispatch made me take a trailer out of a broken dock. Would go back if offered but they had 3 weeks to fix those docks. Almost gotten in an altercation with dock workers over dispatcher actions. Fun place to work. Easy work.
There is no time in a half you will be working straight time only no holiday pay this job should only be for cdl A driver fresh out of truck driving school
Blames you for not knowing stuff they didn't train you on. NO union, so if you mess up its all on you, even if your lied on. Safety Captain a Chump. Intermodal Management and Dispatch are cool.
Voyager is a low wage company and has a substandard benefits package. Wages are low and they refuse to give raises and invest in their employees. Somehow the owners seem to have money to waste on everything else. Their tractors are all rebuilt garbage They have lytx cams and the safety department has a culture of harrassment and hostility towards the employees. In my opinion, don't waste your time working here.
As I started with over 20-years Commercial driving experience, I pretty well knew the routines, yet learned that driving the Rockies can be very challenging of all of one's skill sets when climbing and descending the mountains--it is serious business. Management can be unbending at times, but as a company driver, you've no choice but to comply, or turn in your keys like most any commercial trucking operation; mostly though, its like an extended-family type of Mom n' Pop operation, and most schedules can be re-worked or adapted to fit a driver's needs. The job is as hard as you can imagine, with delivery schedules subject to penalties, despite traffic backups, mudslides, detours, inclement weather and so on. There are beautiful highways along most runs, and if a driver knows how to handle his/her time well, breaks can be scenic and awe-inspiring.
Great Owners Manager & Team Mates. You have an opportunity to an unlimited amount of money working at Voyager Express. Nice location the Maintenance team is Outstanding and always there for the drivers
Family oriented company. Easy to get along with, on and off the road. Helpful maintenance personal. The owner actually knows the drivers names, and even knew and welcomed my mother on the occasional visit by her. If the pay was better, I would still be there, but they were what I needed at the time.
Life-work is well balanced. Great team, a good place to work. The owner is open to new suggestion and very friendly. Voyager Express is over the road trucking business covering the pacific, mountain and central areas. We are home weekly, heading to California on Monday, the driver could be back to Denver with 2000 miles. With an additional load to Kansas, he can make it to 3000 miles and go home for the weekend. Most loads are drops and hooks.
Modern Equipment. Trailers too. Well maintained and keep. Lots to do and places to go with this company. Very nice staff and drivers.Loved my job there.
