WMT began as White Mountain Timber at the Heber sawmill in northern Arizona, where Stephen Ray worked near his childhood home. He and his siblings dreamed of running a trucking company. Years later, Stephen sold his brother-in-law, David Aribzu, his first truck, and David and his wife Rebecca started a small business.

I am a driver for white mountain trucking and it is a great place to work or have your product shipped via flatbed
Your truck number 311 is going down I-40 showering every car on the road with debris because there is no tarp on top y'all need to do something about this and get the proper equipment on your truck
on 6-4-20 at 7:13 AM one of their trucks operated by Robert William Cosgrove truck plate #AE68856 failed to stay in his own lane and T boned our car on the right side and crushed both passenger doors then got out of his truck yelling and screaming profanities that cant be repeated at my wife then proceeded to give us insurance information that we called and they did not know of the company and couldn't help us . So I contacted White Mountain Trucking and they said call your insurance and don't contact us again. I was shocked at the response after there truck hit us broadside in 'our lane' so I contacted Stephen Ray (owner) and Heather Wallus his Company Controller and received the same response witch I probably shouldn't be surprised since this Culture and behavior probably trickled down from the top.
700 a week all week out with min miles that’s the catch for 65cents a mile don’t waist your time

I have worked at white mountain trucking for three months now and I think it's a great company. I drive a 2016 Kenworth T660 along with new trailers. I don't have to worry about braking down because all the maintenance is up to date. Dispatch is friendly and reliable, usually have my next load ready before I finish delivering. They have plenty of miles for whoever wants them 2-3000 a week for me with weekends off. Only thing that would make things better is if they added a benefits package . Overall White Mountain Trucking is an excellent company to work for.
*DO NOT MAKE DEALS WITH THEM, THEY ARE SCAMMERS* Save your time and money and just go through insurance. Believe me! You'll regret associating with them.
For a company that specializes in something as important as oversized loads, I would expect the drivers to be quite professional and not block traffic and cut people off. I would also certainly expect to see no middle fingers. I have a class A driver's license and as such I hold myself to a higher standard of driving and professionalism especially when I'm hauling a heavy load. This driver was headed north bound on I-15 in Utah around mile marker 5 about 2:10 pm on 10/26/2021. I certainly hope you guys take this seriously. Were he my employee, I'd fire him. Feel free to update me on any actions taken against this employee and I'd be happy to reassess my review. I know it's not necessarily the company's fault.
Great drivers who know what they're doing, and their training is off the charts by far the best place to go to learn flatbed trucking.
Pay is standard but the support team is very impressive. They have the newest model trucks in manuel and automatic transmission. It's a small company but with an outstanding staff.
Family oriented company that is growing fast. Great training and pay is great. Geno WMT Truck driver #196
Working here for over a year now. Better than most. I appreciate the owners for everything they do for us. Could appreciate less wait times but that's not enough to dislike working here so.
if you don’t complete your 90days or training that they will deduct your last paycheck. Overall I got good training from Johnny. The other trainer not a big fan ✌🏽 …

This company is a joke! Don’t waist your time you will regret it
These are the Gods of Trucking. I stare in wide eyed wonder as they roll by. My dog Jethro howls uncontrollably, in delight as they roll by. Citizens on the streets and highways of western America stare aghast, breathless and overwhelmed, trying to mouth the words- true professionals…

I have had a lot of jobs, and each one has had great and terrible things. None felt like home. The people here aren’t fake. I hope my explanation does it justice; but if you have ever sat outside and soaked up life, and truly felt content, This it. The company is going through growing pains, but the way the owners handle them makes you realize how honest the owners and office staff are.
What is the best part of working at the company? They have outstanding equipment and an awesome. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Waiting for payday, which is every week What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Everyone is there to support one another What is a typical day like for you at the company? Drive/trap down load/some tarp
White Mountain is a great place to work. They put you in great equipment, offer as many miles as you want to run hauling for regular customers and will get you home every weekend if you want. You run as hard as you want. Great communication with management, dispatch and the shop. Bonuses offered for good mpg and regular shop inspections. If not for family issues, I would never have left.
I got exactly what I expected and was taken care of. The owners are genuinely good people. I am grateful for my time at WMT. They are a good company.
This company by far is a horrible place to work they will leave you stranded no matter where you are. They left me stranded in a completely different state other than my own. DO NOT GO TO WORK FOR THEM
Great equipment, great mechanics, great dispatchers. Home weekly, plenty of miles. Hauling mostly rebar - over length loads. Sometimes picking up lumber, coils, other stuff to get you back into Phoenix.
Excellent staff and dispatch. Great equipment. So far great miles. Usually pick up from the same shippers so you can easily get into a groove. I plan to stay a long time
This companies attitude towards drivers and family of drivers is incredible. These guys bend over backwards and go the extra mile for their employees. I have felt like family since day one and they continue keeping that feeling alive daily. You are not a number. You are a person. Your family matters. They have incredible contests where you win ridiculous prizes. They put the driver first and it shows. It’s a caring group, it’s a company FOR truckers ran BY truckers owned BY truckers. These guys are absolutely worth checking out. Equipment is top notch, impeccably maintained, and brand new. There are opportunities to become an owner operator with these guys in such a short amount of time, it’s a place you’ll show up thinking you have a job, and find yourself feeling like you found home.p
Watch your back they look for any reason to let you go. Some of the drivers will help the others won't even talk to you. They have nice equipment but it's not maintained as well as they say. And the way they pay you will drive you nuts. And they say you are able to get safety bonuses but they don't pay it. And you time paid off as in sick days. You can get one week of vacation after two years and only one week the whole tim you work there. So take it from me its not a great place to work.
White Mountain Trucking still holds that family feel. You get to know the staff on a personal level, including the owners who are always around. The dispatch would never force a load on you and there were never any problems getting the miles you wanted. If I wouldn't have moved 2000 miles away, I would have loved to stay.
Was a regional driver home most weekends. Most all the people were very. Helpful thanks to all of them. Some times did local work but flat bed work you do what ever it takes protech the load in any weather that's just part of the. And make sure it gets to and from .PU TO DEL ON TIME THAY MADE SURE YOU HAD THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT TO DO THE JOB MANAGEMENT AND SHOP. W WERE WERE
White Mountain is a excellent place to work. Dispatch is excellent. Trucks and Trailer are mostly new and well maintained. They are building a new Terminal which should be ready around November. They are always hiring too. Constantly growing company.
Flatbed work pay not bad but dispatching was a mess not organised equipment was old and had problems haules alot of rebar for CMC mostly.to California and back to Arizona some new Mexico and Texas
