WMT was founded as White Mountain Timber at the Heber sawmill in northern Arizona, where Stephen Ray performed next to his childhood home. He and his siblings were thinking of starting a trucking company. Years later, Stephen sold his brother-in-law, David Aribzu, his first truck, and David and his wife Rebecca started a small business. We are known for integrity, innovation, highly trained drivers, impeccably maintained late-model equipment, superior safety record and unwavering dedication to quality and customer service.

They’re doing a lot right, but I’d love to see how they handle the tough times.
As a newbie in the trucking world, I was nervous about finding a company that would support me, but these guys have been awesome.
Heard some stories about the long hours, but honestly, I’m ready to embrace the grind
The delivery was delayed, and I had a hard time getting updates. I understand that things happen, but communication is important
I am a driver for white mountain trucking and it is a great place to work or have your product shipped via flatbed
Your truck number 311 is going down I-40 showering every car on the road with debris because there is no tarp on top y'all need to do something about this and get the proper equipment on your truck
on 6-4-20 at 7:13 AM one of their trucks operated by Robert William Cosgrove truck plate #AE68856 failed to stay in his own lane and T boned our car on the right side and crushed both passenger doors then got out of his truck yelling and screaming profanities that cant be repeated at my wife then proceeded to give us insurance information that we called and they did not know of the company and couldn't help us . So I contacted White Mountain Trucking and they said call your insurance and don't contact us again. I was shocked at the response after there truck hit us broadside in 'our lane' so I contacted Stephen Ray (owner) and Heather Wallus his Company Controller and received the same response witch I probably shouldn't be surprised since this Culture and behavior probably trickled down from the top.
700 a week all week out with min miles that’s the catch for 65cents a mile don’t waist your time
This is a amazing trucking company they sent three driver to our company to help us move a lot of material so we could meet our due dates. I have worked at white mountain trucking for three months now and I think it's a great company. I drive a 2016 Kenworth T660 along with new trailers. I don't have to worry about braking down because all the maintenance is up to date. Dispatch is friendly and reliable, usually have my next load ready before I finish delivering. They have plenty of miles for whoever wants them 2-3000 a week for me with weekends off. Only thing that would make things better is if they added a benefits package . Overall White Mountain Trucking is an excellent company to work for.
*DO NOT MAKE DEALS WITH THEM, THEY ARE SCAMMERS* Save your time and money and just go through insurance. Believe me! You'll regret associating with them.
For a company that specializes in something as important as oversized loads, I would expect the drivers to be quite professional and not block traffic and cut people off. I would also certainly expect to see no middle fingers. I have a class A driver's license and as such I hold myself to a higher standard of driving and professionalism especially when I'm hauling a heavy load. This driver was headed north bound on I-15 in Utah around mile marker 5 about 2:10 pm on 10/26/2021. I certainly hope you guys take this seriously. Were he my employee, I'd fire him. Feel free to update me on any actions taken against this employee and I'd be happy to reassess my review. I know it's not necessarily the company's fault.
Great drivers who know what they're doing, and their training is off the charts by far the best place to go to learn flatbed trucking.
Pay is standard but the support team is very impressive. They have the newest model trucks in manuel and automatic transmission. It's a small company but with an outstanding staff.
Family oriented company that is growing fast. Great training and pay is great. Geno WMT Truck driver #196
Working here for over a year now. Better than most. I appreciate the owners for everything they do for us. Could appreciate less wait times but that's not enough to dislike working here so.
if you don’t complete your 90days or training that they will deduct your last paycheck. Overall I got good training from Johnny. The other trainer not a big fan ✌🏽 …

This company is a joke! Don’t waist your time you will regret it
These are the Gods of Trucking. I stare in wide eyed wonder as they roll by. My dog Jethro howls uncontrollably, in delight as they roll by. Citizens on the streets and highways of western America stare aghast, breathless and overwhelmed, trying to mouth the words- true professionals…

I have had a lot of jobs, and each one has had great and terrible things. None felt like home. The people here aren’t fake. I hope my explanation does it justice; but if you have ever sat outside and soaked up life, and truly felt content, This it. The company is going through growing pains, but the way the owners handle them makes you realize how honest the owners and office staff are.
What is the best part of working at the company? Outstanding equipment and a supportive environment. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Waiting for weekly paydays. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Everyone is supportive. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Driving, tarping loads, and securing them.
White Mountain is a fantastic company with excellent equipment, plenty of miles, and regular hauls. They ensure you get home every weekend if you prefer. Great communication across management, dispatch, and the shop. Bonuses for good MPG and shop inspections. Left due to family issues but would have stayed otherwise.
I received exactly what I expected. The owners are genuine and caring. Grateful for the experience and highly recommend the company.
This is a terrible company to work for. They left me stranded in another state. Avoid working here at all costs.
Great equipment, mechanics, and dispatchers. Weekly home time and consistent miles. Hauls include rebar, lumber, and coils, primarily to Phoenix.
Amazing staff and dispatch. Reliable equipment and excellent miles. Regular shippers allow for an easy routine. Planning to stay for the long term.
The company has an incredible approach to drivers and their families. They value employees and make them feel like family. Top-tier equipment, opportunities to become an owner-operator, and a caring environment. Highly recommended.
Be cautious, as they might let you go for minor reasons. Equipment is not as well-maintained as claimed. Pay structure can be frustrating, and bonuses are rarely given. Limited vacation time even after years of service. Overall, not a great place to work.
White Mountain Trucking maintains a family-like atmosphere. The staff and owners are approachable, and dispatch is not forceful. Ample miles for drivers who seek them. Relocation was the only reason I left.
Regional driving role with weekend home time. Staff were helpful and supportive. Flatbed work required protecting loads in all weather, but the company provided the right equipment for the job. Management and the shop were reliable.
An excellent workplace with well-maintained equipment. Dispatch is exceptional. New terminal under construction, and the company is continually growing and hiring.
Flatbed work offers reasonable pay, but dispatching is disorganized. Equipment is outdated and problematic. Most hauls include rebar to California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.
