XPRESS CARGO, INC
Owner Operators: Xpress Cargo - Your Ideal Partner

Xpress Cargo, distinctively visible to those operating under a CDL and seeking assistance and reliability, sits rooted as an option. A myriad of tasks - one involving flatbed transport, another tanker duties, and lastly reefer tasks - are all available, with competitive pay rates and leasing opportunities also included. Comprehensive backing programs, from which owner operators have indeed benefited, are prominent features. Payment for fuel surcharges, though not initially obvious, holds an indispensable value, as is the allure of variable home time. Attractive, indeed, is Xpress Cargo; for amping up income is a significant aspect, as is work-life balance, it being lucid.

Conclusion

Xpress Cargo is a solid choice for Owner Operators aiming for a company with competitive benefits and a commitment to quality. However, drivers should be prepared for the company's high standards in equipment and operations. Overall, it's an excellent option for those seeking to grow their career in a professional and supportive environment.

Why XPress Cargo?

Why XPress Cargo?

Xpress Cargo's ambition, they say, is the transportation field in the Midwestern area; it's a bit tricky too. So they're operating, maintaining stuff, even hiring Owner Operators - all focused on Indianapolis city, full of life, you see. For a couple of years, fine-tuning routes has been their thing. They're focusing on routes located 750 miles from the city, to be precise, for some optimization. They're doing this for regional freight and for certain lanes with dedicated transport. Then come the Owner Operators into this somewhat complex design. Now they can do their routes in only a single day and come back to the center. The result is enhanced efficiency; it's got decreased expenses too, and drivers are happier - a significant uplift in their happiness - but the viewpoint is that such things are abstract, and you know they don't connect well.

Great place to work. Friendly and happy recruiting staff. When i found this company on google, i picked up the phone and called: it was a recruiter named Jennifer Jensen that answered the phone in a friendly manner. She gave me an overall details over the phone that i needed to know about the company. I was like "yes" .when i came for orientation she met me at the parking lot and walked me inside. Then it was Sehaj Sangha that was very friendly and patient. He made me feel like i was at home by the way he treated me. I also met the owner A very humble man . that's a famimly like place. And i feel blessed to be part of it.

Travelling on i70e today apr 11 between 930 abd 10am cst and your driver hauling trailer r121 damn near killed me because he apparently doesn't know how to adjust his driving in windy rainy weather. Given that he was doing at least 80 in a 70 in the passing lane. Give this guy a colouring book and tell him to learn how to stay between the lines. His trailer swung into my lane a solid 3ft and forced me onto the shoulder. White tractor contract company name rizq

Don't work here. Worst experience by a trucking company. They are not honest company to work for. They don't fixed the truck when a major problem occurs, when comes to mechanical issue. Dispatch doesn't take there job seriously. Sloppy when comes to scheduling. They do not take your safety seriously. They have alot Dot tickets on there CSA record. Find a good truck driving job that honest and caring. Oh there not Pet friendly if they say they are.

Good company with miles. Good pay. Midwest to west coast. Outside of DC is as close as you'll get to the NE unless you ask them for a load for your special need. They are great about getting occasional loads outside of their lanes for your benefit.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with this company. Dispatching and safety sucks. They know how to eat money from somebody else’s paychecks. Even day-night stay on the road and their service is very poor. I will never recommend nobody else to work there.

This is a great place to work for drivers and office employees. They really care about their employees and its a friendly atmosphere. The owners and management team are very easy to work with and helpful. The pay is competitive and they make you feel wanted and will work with drivers to get them on the best lanes for their needs. Its one of the best companies out there and they are growing.

What is the best part of working at the company? The long hours and little pay. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The mental fight about the pay. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Slick. Like a barrel of slick 50. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Good truck repair guys. Slick pay.

Honestly one of the worst companies I ever worked for. They do not take accountability for any of their equipment. You go pick up trailers they do not turn on or work m. The trailers all need maintenance and when you tell them it’s like it’s your fault. It is definitely forced dispatched and they will have you sitting for days.

Bad experience! Wouldn’t work there again! Well I was doing what I was told to do and it wasn’t good enough for them as they don’t understand what it’s like driving on i465 with i65 that you can’t get on in the city and go 5 miles you have to go i465 and around to get there.

The loads are fast for solo driver. Newer Volvo Tractor, fully equipped w truck refrigerator/ freezer, APU and temp. Control sleeper. Ran mostly Indiana-Ohio to South CA, mostly Los Angeles. High mileage, low wait times. The deliveries were pretty quick on dock w low wait times. I delivered to smaller warehouses with tight docks. Pick ups to go east required waiting while loading, again smaller warehouses. My pick ups were L.A,Salinas, CA or Arizona below i40.. The return trips were great! Fast unload and pick up to go west usually a drop and hook. Very low wait times overall. Very fast trips, fast trucks, hammer down full shift. Great pay but hard driving. Home time, not so good. Stayed out 7 weeks, then told to fill out request and wait to be approved by DM..10 days in advance. I was blowing through my city twice a week hammer down, time pressure to delivery. Most I could do was fill up fuel at truck stop and wave at the house driving by on interstate. Great place to be if ya like a smaller company that values the driver and don't care about staying out long stretches. Definitely make a good paycheck, and enjoy quality Equipment!

pros you get home time after three to four weeks of running. cons dispatch is never available when needed, don't return calls, loads are constantly late pickups and deliveries before given to drivers, give you a load then suddenly change it before telling you, they give your number to brokers without your knowledge, expect calls from east India dispatch or 3rd shift dispatch inquiring or changing your delivery 3 O'clock in the morning, Dispatch has no communications between shifts or other dispatchers, changes to appointment time while in route at last minute without warning, no benefits other than high insurance, ,

Job description was different then what was told in orientation such as locations of travel also preplan drop and hook turned into live loads which was not stated in original recruiting conversation but was altered the day of orientation. Dispatch would even accept loads from base while I was home, something I myself as a driver should do myself from the ELD device
