A pensioned teacher from Virginia became a multi-millionaire after winning $5 million on a lottery card. Eunice Sample was over the moon after printing out the $173 Million Extravaganza ticket and discovered herself winning the main prize. She bought the winning card at a shop in Chesapeake.
In an interview, Sample said: "I'm excited, happy, shocked, stunned but feeling great!". The sample took home the prize of $3.125 million in cash. The shop that sold her ticket will also get a bonus from the raffle company.
It's worth noting that all profits from the lottery go to teaching. Therefore, Sample win is particularly noteworthy.
Winning the lottery is a dream for many people, and Sample's win is no exception. Now she can use her newfound wealth to fulfill her lifelong dream and do what she has always dreamed of doing.
It's not every day that someone wins the lottery, but it's nice to know that the money will go to a good cause. Thanks to the Virginia Lottery, Sample's win will benefit the K-12 education system in the state. It's a great example of how a small contribution can make a big difference in someone's life, and in this case, the education of future generations.
