During instructional sessions at the Nascar Hall of Fame in Charlotte, the new event, which will take place in April, will commemorate winning fleets and delve into the knowledge gained during the program's 2024 edition. Best Fleets to Drive For, a long-running list of the finest trucking companies in North America, is planning a new education and awards convention for this spring. The event, which will take place in the Nascar Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina, will include a celebration of the winning fleets as well as insights from the 2024 victors.

Truck drivers and independent contractors can enter the sweepstakes by nominating their firm until Oct. 31. TCA officials stated in a press statement that by selecting a fleet, a truck driver is recognizing the aspects of the company's culture that they value, such as great salary, safety policies, perks, equipment, and training.

If the company accepts the nomination and agrees to participate, TCA and CarriersEdge will conduct a survey that will delve deeper into the fleet's rules and practices, highlighting the areas that are innovative and/or successful. Participating fleets will answer questions on their existing human resource policies electronically as well as over the phone with senior management and a random sample of their drivers.

The Best Fleets to Drive For is an annual survey and competition that identifies the for-hire carriers that provide the best working environment for their drivers. It is now in its 16th year. CarriersEdge, an online driver training provider, developed the software, which is now available to any for-hire fleet in the United States or Canada with 10 or more tractor-trailers. The preceding awards were presented during the Truckload Carriers Association's annual convention.

After being nominated by a driver or owner-operator, participating fleets are evaluated in numerous categories, including HR procedures, operational strategy, professional development, and work/life balance. There is also a comprehensive driver survey, the findings of which are blended with driver and business feedback to choose the winners.

"Every year, we receive a mountain of data through the Best Fleets selection process, according to Jane Jazrawy, CEO of CarriersEdge. We've been holding webinars and publishing papers for years, but those activities only scratch the surface of what the data indicates. We'll talk about what makes winning fleets effective and how other fleets might apply those methods with the help of this event."

The Top 20 Best Fleets, Fleets to Watch (honorable mentions), and Fleets Entering the Organization's Hall of Fame will be announced on January 30. These winning fleets will be officially acknowledged at the Best Fleets to Drive For Education and Awards Conference, where the two overall winners in the large and small fleet categories will be announced. The Education and Awards Conference will showcase successful trends, new concepts, and programs from fleets of various sizes to shed light on what makes such fleets winners.

Thanks to the thousands of fleet responses and driver questionnaires analyzed during each year's grading process, the conference provides in-depth evaluations of what top performers are doing to keep their drivers content and productive. The companies American Central Transport and Thomas E. Keller Trucking Inc. are projected to receive the distinction of being recognized as the Best Fleet for a consecutive period of five years.

In order to qualify for participation in the esteemed Best Fleets program, organizations must possess a fleet size of ten or more trucks and secure a nomination from either one of their corporate drivers or owner-operators. Subsequently, an assessment was conducted on the fleets by employing a scoring methodology that encompassed a range of attributes like comprehensive remuneration, healthcare provisions, performance evaluation, possibilities for professional growth, and avenues for career progression. The Education and Awards Conference titled "The Best Fleets to Drive For" is scheduled to take place on April 8 and 9 at the esteemed Nascar Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina. Attendees can access discounted hotel prices for the duration of the conference.

"The Best Fleets to Drive For push the limits every year, and we wanted to celebrate them in a venue built around recognition of excellence," Jazrawy, the organizer, stated. "The Nascar Hall of Fame is a spectacular venue, and we're looking forward to showcasing the winners in a place where you're surrounded by greatness."

Because this event will concentrate fleet education and recognition, vendor involvement will be limited.

"This conference will be about learning how to be a Best Fleet and recognizing the companies that are already there," Jazrawy went on to say. "And thanks to the generous support of our sponsors EpicVue, TruckRight, and Netradyne, we can do that." Best Fleets to Drive For is the only review of the top workplaces in the trucking industry conducted in North America. The annual study and competition, now in its 16th year, recognizes for-hire motor carriers that provide excellent working conditions to their drivers.

At the Education Awards Conference, the winning fleets will be acknowledged, and experts will explain what makes them effective.

Congratulations to this year's Top 20 winners. The overall winners' prizes are sponsored by Eleos Technologies and TruckRight.
