Four individuals, including two minors, were injured in a car accident on Friday morning in rural Polk County, Minnesota. The incident happened at around 8 a.m. when a car and pickup collided at the junction of County Road 21 and Highway 75 near Angus. The State Patrol stated that the car was occupied by a 28-year-old woman from Thief River Falls and two seven-year-old girls, while the pickup was driven by a 57-year-old woman from Euclid.
An ambulance was called to the scene, and the two girls were taken to Altru in Grand Forks for medical attention. Fortunately, all four involved in the collision are expected to survive and their injuries are not life-threatening.
The exact cause of the crash is not yet clear, but authorities are investigating the incident. Angus is a small town about 30 miles northeast of Grand Forks, and the accident occurred at a busy intersection that serves as a major transportation hub for the neighborhood.
Drivers and passengers are urged to use caution when driving on rural roads, especially at busy intersections, and to be alert to other vehicles and potential hazards on the road.
