Through a collaborative joint effort involving multiple law enforcement agencies and community groups, numerous stolen vehicles were successfully recovered, and individuals involved in these illicit activities were apprehended. The exceptional work of East Precinct's Neighborhood Response Team was augmented by the invaluable intelligence shared by vigilant members of the "PDX Stolen Cars" Facebook group. This crucial info played a key role in the recovery of three stolen vehicles one occupied and two unoccupied preventing further misuse and returning the assets to their rightful owners.
Furthermore, diligent officers identified and towed eleven cars that were linked to various criminal activities, fortifying the safety and security of the community. The operation also yielded the seizure of two firearms, removing potentially dangerous weapons from the streets and mitigating potential harm.
In total, the operation resulted in the successful recovery of thirteen stolen cars, delivering a significant blow to the prevalence of vehicle theft in the area. As a testament to the effectiveness of the operation, eleven individuals who had associations with the stolen vehicles were apprehended, ensuring that justice is served and discouraging future criminal endeavors.
