After a two-day manhunt, authorities have finally apprehended the suspect in a fatal shooting that occurred in rural Jacksonville last Thursday. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Michael Wayne Ray, 64, was arrested Saturday at the same home where the shooting occurred.

Upon arrival, they found the victim, Jason Mark Kinney, 53, deceased inside the home. Ray was identified as the suspect and his car was found near the scene.
