The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) is currently conducting a thorough investigation into a tragic incident involving a fatal shooting that took place on Sunday. Promptly after 9 p.m. on the 30th of July, the HCSO immediately responded to the distress call at the Progreso Port of Entry, situated in Progreso, Texas. Upon arrival at the scene, the deputies were confronted with a distressing sight. They discovered a 34-year-old male inside a semi truck, suffering from a severe gunshot wound to the back.
