In a devastating turn of events, a male lost his life after being struck by a truck while seeking respite beneath it at a gas station in Nashville, Tennessee. The unfortunate accident occurred during the weekend, approximately about 4 a.m. on Saturday, August 19. According to sources, the accident unfolded at a gas station located in the south side of the city, as reported by WZTV.

Authorities reveal that a semi truck had been backed up in an alley behind the gas station, seemingly providing a momentary escape for weary travelers. On that fateful night, the unidentified male climbed between the 2nd and 3rd axles of the trailer, seeking a place to rest. Tragically, the truck operator, unaware of the man's presence, later recounted to the police that he had tugged the truck forward, only to feel a sudden jolt. It was then he made a horrifying discovery finding the lifeless body of the man lying on the ground near the truck.

As investigators delve into this harrowing incident, one priority remains at the forefront determining the identity of the deceased. The process of identifying the victim is underway, with law enforcement agencies actively pursuing every available lead.

In a surprising turn, authorities have indicated that no charges are expected to be filed in relation to this heartbreaking accident. While the circumstances surrounding the incident are undoubtedly distressing, the police have determined that the truck driver bears no criminal culpability.
