According to reports, the forklift driver noticed that the truck was rolling forward and called out to Carrillo-Garcia to let him know. In an attempt to stop the moving truck, Carrillo-Garcia exited the trailer and ran towards it. However, he reportedly tripped and fell, and was run over by the moving truck. Sadly, Carrillo-Garcia died at the scene.
The incident has sparked an investigation by the Oakdale Police and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
