On a sunny Wednesday morning, at approximately 10:50 a.m., fire alarms alerted neighbors of flames and smoke coming out of a residential property in Aloha, Oregon. The incident occurred in the 19000 block of southwest Brooklawn Place, in the Washington County area. The flames were spotted by concerned neighbors, who immediately contacted the emergency services. The sheriff on the site took the necessary precautions and evacuated nearby homes to prevent the fire from spreading.

The Hillsboro Fire Rescue team responded to the call and arrived at the scene to find the two-story house completely engulfed in flames, with the fire rapidly spreading to the attic. Fortunately, no one was inside the house at the time of the incident, except for two cats that were rescued by the firefighters and reunited with their owners.

The firefighters managed to extinguish the fire from the outside, as the house did not have a sprinkler system. However, the residents of the house will be displaced due to the extensive smoke and water damage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and authorities have not yet released any official statement regarding the incident.

This unfortunate event highlights the importance of having proper safety measures installed in residential properties, such as sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers. It also serves as a reminder to regularly maintain and inspect these devices to avoid similar incidents.
